This co-op in Skagit is filled with healthy alternatives, fresh produce, and even a juice/coffee/snack bar serving up some delicious bites. I found a number of local products and beers to buy from the grocery side, and a mushroom sandwich. I cannot properly describe the deliciousness of this sandwich - you just had to be there. I also loved that the co-op's second story is filled with the most unique home and gift items you'll find. Everything is sustainable first, and they even have a decent book selection. Couldn't imagine a better place to spend my Saturday, just wish I lived closer so I could visit every weekend.

There were a couple orders ahead of mine. If you get your order to go like I did, don't make the mistake of opening the container upside-down like I did. I failed to notice that there is writing on the top and opened it with the bottom up. Fortunately, the only thing that happened was some of the sauce was smeared on the lid and the pickle juice (from my pickle spear on the side) leaked out on me. As for taste, I thought the pepperoni didn't add much to the sub. Next time I will just order one of the other meatball subs, or possibly the Philly Cheesesteak sub. The pepperoni had a nice taste and they were extra large, but I just didn't feel like it meshed well with the meatball sub.
