I place my order at a kiosk. I pick up my order at a window. I bus my own table. I interact with zero humans. Why must I tip? Pay your employees a living wage. Not bad. Not great. Had the gyro bowl and fries. Generous portions - will definitely feed two. I thought everything in the bowl was a little bland. Hubby was enthralled by the crispy chickpeas, but otherwise couldn't tell you what was in the bowl. Fries were good, but why is ketchup extra when I'm paying $6 for fries? Seating area was clean but the standing water under the astroturf wasn't very pleasant (to walk on or smell) attracts fruit flies/gnats (and probably mosquitoes when it warms up). And why do you serve everything in compostable packaging but not have compost bins or recycling (for the glass and aluminum cans) available? Why tip? - 1 star Why is ketchup extra? - 1 star Standing water leads to bugs? - 1 star Why not compost/recycle? - 1 star I'll add a star because the food didn't suck.

I'm sure by this time everyone has tried or at least seen a Ziki truck. This greek/mexican truck just popped out of nowhere and it was about damn time I tried it In my grain bowl I got yellow basmati rice, pork, fajita veggies, grilled cron, pico, cucumber salad, tzatziki, and tahini. Each of these components were bold and flavorful. The pork was a little too sweet for my liking - it was borderline dessert - but once everything was mixed together it cut the sweetness nicely. They were even nice enough to give Radar some water! Thanks Ziki! ‍

Stopped here for a clean eat. You order from a kiosk. When it's sunny outside it is a little hard to see. At one point we needed help and the woman came from inside the truck to assist. I had a custom bowl. It was pretty tasty. Ingredients seem very fresh which is what I loved the most. The garlic sauce was a must so I got extra. Crunchy chick peas were so tasty. The yogurt was tangy and mixed well. Avocado was a must! Will definitely be back!

I finally checked this place out today and thought it was great! You can either order on your phone or use the kiosk at the truck, but it can be a bit bright and hard to see. The food options are pretty straight forward and while expensive, the portions are substantial. It tastes very fresh and flavorful. I ordered the falafel bowl -- it was so delicious but very heavy on the rice and dips. My friend ordered the Greek salad burrito and loved it! I will definitely be back but will try something else. There is street parking and a few picnic tables around the truck.

I had a craving and ZIKI definitely delivered!!! This cute little spot on South Congress is killing it with their bowls. Ordering is through your phone, so you get what's on the menu, although there were a lot of yummy add ins! I ordered the Gyro bowl, added pita bread, avocado and of course their hot chili sauce. If you ever feel like its missing something- try the hot sauce! Huge portion, I am full and have enough for another meal, which is great because my total came out to about $28. I'm not complaining on the price when I get two delicious meals out of it! ‍ Next time I definitely want to try their wraps, but the Gyro bowl really hit the spot today. Thank you ZIKI!

I have been wanting to try Ziki ever since I saw them on Instagram. I love their philosophy and approach to healthy food with lots of gluten free options. I have no pictures because we ate fast in the car with the cold weather and hunger. We ordered the spanakopita bites to start and they were delicious, just a burst of flavor and spinach deliciousness. Then we had the fries which were incredibly tasty. Then we messed up because the tablet did warn us that the portions were generous. But we had 1 chicken bowl and 2 gyro bowls. We could've done with just 2 because the portions were HUGE. That aside, the gyro was cooked well and I loved all the veggies, rice and crispy chickpeas. The chicken was marinated and cooked really well too. We even met some of management as their office is next store, and they were very friendly. Ziki is changing the approach to fast casual food and I love it. I forsee a lot of ziki lunches in my future.

I'm a big fan of the Ziki concept, fusing two of my favorite cuisines, Mexican and Greek, and doing so in a healthy, allergen-free way. The falafel were perfectly cooked, crispy, and chewy! The avocado ziki sauce has Greek yogurt and a hint of avocado, you may want to try a different sauce instead, it was nothing special.

New fav food truck alert! I experienced love at first bite. My fav bites were the Ziki bites, zurrito, pork bowl and Greek fries. Be sure to get the berry Ziki tea too! It's so refreshing! I give this food truck a 10/10, and the atmosphere is vibrant and super fun.

My friends and I were in Austin for three nights and ate Ziki 3 times. We couldn't get enough. I had read about the place before the trip and it totally over performed. We couldn't get enough. So awesome they stay open until 3am. Appreciate being able to get a healthy meal late night. Feels like they got ahead of the seed oil free craze. Can't wait for Ziki to spread across America. We need you in Philly! The servers were so kind and worked very hard. Being outside and picnic style is genius. All the food we tried was outstanding. MVP is the pork quesadilla covered in crispy cheese. Congrats to the owners. First stop when we come back! Forget Terry Blacks, you need Ziki!

ZIKI is Austin's newest and most unique food truck I've been to in a while. Here you'll find a fusion of Greek and Mexican Cuisines to give you dishes such as: - Falafel Tacos: 3 tacos stuffed with falafel, beet hummus, cilantro cabbage slaw, pico, and tahini sauce ($12) - 4.25/5 - Gyro Zurrito: flour tortilla stuffed with gyro beef, yellow rice, tzatziki sauce, red pepper feta, fajita veggies, pico, and cilantro cabbage slaw. ($14) - 4.75/5 - Pork Bowl: chipotle honey pork, yellow rice, avocado jalapeño tzatziki sauce, garlic sauce, fajita veggies, cucumber salsa, cilantro cabbage slaw, feta, corn, jalapeños, and cilantro garlic sauce ($14) - 4.5/5 - ZIKI Bites: three crispy spanakopita (Greek for spinach pie) bites filled with feta, cheese, and spinach ($6) - 4.75/5 - Baklava: crispy filo pastry dessert filled with nuts, syrup, with flavors of cinnamon throughout ($6) - 4.75/5 You seriously can't go wrong with any of the dishes above. They're good-sized portions and the prices are great considering the high quality ingredients they use! Plus, the food is filling and each dish packs a punch of flavor and I don't have much criticism on what I ate. So whether you're craving tacos, a burrito, or a bowl - you won't go wrong either way. All in all, I left highly highly satisfied and give them a strong 4.75/5 for being absolutely amazing! I will DEFINITELY be back soon!

It's delicious if you need something light and relaxing. I got side salad, fries, and the drink. Please be aware, Austin serves large portions of creme usually, but I ate it all today, delicious!

Overall, I had a good experience but I can't say I was completely blown away. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with bright white aesthetics that give off a Greek island vibe. I also loved the mural on the exterior wall and the flower arch at the entrance, which makes for a great first impression. Parking however, was a bit tricky. My Uber driver had some difficulty getting close to the entrance because of the layout and traffic flow around the restaurant. As for the food I decided to order the lamb since that's usually a standout dish at a Greek restaurant. Unfortunately, it didn't quite work for me. I'm not sure if it was the gaminess of the lamb or maybe the cocktail I had beforehand, but I started feeling queasy midway through dinner and had to step away for a bit. Luckily I recovered, but I wasn't able to finish the dish and mostly stuck to the fries and side salad afterward. My partner also mentioned that his beef dish was slightly overcooked. Service was a little inconsistent as well. It was a busy night, so I understand things can get hectic, but our waiter wasn't very attentive and rarely checked in on us throughout the meal. Maybe I ordered the wrong dish or came on an off night, but at this price point I've honestly had better experiences at a few other Mediterranean restaurants in Austin. I'm glad I tried it though I'm not sure I'd rush back.

This time we went in knowing exactly what we liked from our first visit and focused on sharing appetizers, which ended up being the move. We ordered several dishes for the table and left completely full and happy. The whipped feta is still a must-order and every bit as good as I remembered. The Greek village salad was fresh and delicious, and the hummus was also great. The biggest surprise for me was the falafel. As an Arab, I'm usually pretty skeptical when restaurants outside of Middle Eastern spots serve falafel because it rarely lives up to expectations. Aba absolutely nailed it. It was flavorful, perfectly cooked, and one of my favorite dishes of the meal. We sat outside this time, which made for a really nice atmosphere. The service was also a huge improvement from my first experience. Even though the restaurant was busy, our waitress was incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel well taken care of throughout the meal. I'm happy to say my opinion has completely changed since my first visit. Giving Aba another chance was definitely worth it, and it has officially earned a spot on my Austin rotation whenever I'm in town.

The beef tenderloin kebab and steak frites were both excellent, and the whipped feta was easily our favorite dish--definitely a must-order. My only complaint is that some of the portions felt small for the price. The Greek Village Salad wasn't worth it in my opinion; for about $20, it was mostly large chunks of tomatoes, cucumber, onion, and feta. Parking on South Congress can also be a bit of a hassle. Overall, the food and ambiance were great. I'd come back, but I wouldn't be rushing to do so.

Then, to get drinks or even the order was a problem. It took so much longer than usual. Our waitress was rude, and seemed bothered that we showed up. A regular lunch which would've been one hour became almost two because of the lack of service. The staff keeps the dining area and buffet line consistently stocked and clean. They even provide hand sanitizer and gloves for you. Even when foot traffic picked up while we were there, the food was replenished quickly and didn't look picked over. Now let's talk food...Everything tastes fresh, well-seasoned, and like it was made with care instead of just being "buffet food" an under seasoned. The variety is also amazing, and it's easy to build a plate for pretty much any type of diet whether you're keto, high protein, balanced, veggie-forward, vegan, etc... Some of our favorite dishes we keep coming back for: Shredded beef (SO good), Baked fish (tender and not fishy), Garlic baked chicken (wonderful crispy skin), Fried chicken, Baked kafta, Kafta kebab, Gyro meat, Roasted cauliflower, Eggplant, Greek salad, Fatoush, Kale Caesar salad, Zaatar pizza, Cheese pizza (pro tip: top it with shredded beef- a life changing buffet hack), Rice with lentils, Rice with mixed veggies. For the quality, variety and amount of food you get, this is easily one of the best deals in the city! It's rare to find a buffet that's both affordable and consistently this good! If I had one small wish, it would be for desserts to match how strong the rest of the food is. They're not bad, just a little more "fine" compared to how amazing everything else is. I've seen another Dimassi's (I think in Cali) that had a frozen yogurt machine and I'd LOVE to see that here because it would be the perfect finish! Make a cup and then crumble up some baklava on it! Between me, my husband, and my mom, we have a lot of overlap in what we like to eat, but we also have some pretty distinct preferences, and Demassi's is one of those places where that works. My husband really loves Middle Eastern / Mediterranean food. I generally do not. I tend to find the meats too dry, I don't particularly like the spice profile, and I also find a lot of dishes in that category to be overly sour. It's hard to explain, but there's often a sharp, tangy acidity that I don't enjoy. For whatever reason, I don't have that issue at Demassi's at all. Here my husband can get his fix of dry, spiced meats, while I'm happy eating from the huge selection of rice dishes, cooked veggies, and soups. As far as protein goes, I actually really like the fish here, so I almost never eat the meat and still leave satisfied. It usually feels like a healthy pescatarian day for me, which I like. Then there's my mom, who just loves the abundance and variety of a buffet. She's happiest when she can sample a little bit of everything, build plates with lots of small bites, and then go back for more. Demassi's is perfect for that. On top of all of this, it's very reasonably priced, especially for lunch or on weeknights. It's always clean, the staff is consistently courteous, and they are really on top of bussing tables, which matters a lot to me at a buffet. Dirty dishes piling up are never an issue here. Overall, it's a solid, reliable spot for us and a place we're always happy to suggest when we're trying to please multiple people with different tastes.

My absolute favorite dish is the fried fish and chips--perfectly crispy on the outside and tender and flavorful on the inside. It's honestly one of the best versions I've had anywhere. On my most recent visit, I also tried the lettuce tacos, which seem to be really popular there right now. The moment I took my first bite I fell in love with the flavor. They were fresh, light, and packed with amazing taste. I ended up eating the whole thing right away because they were just that good. I also ordered the fried dill pickles, which are another personal favorite of mine. They were perfectly fried and full of flavor. One thing I've noticed every time I visit is that the restaurant is always busy, which says a lot. It's clear that many people love their Mediterranean menu, and after eating here multiple times, I completely understand why. I also enjoyed sitting outside at the Hill Country Galleria--it's a great atmosphere to relax and enjoy your meal. I highly recommend Artemis Mediterranean Grill if you're in the area. The food is delicious, the menu has something for everyone, and it's definitely a place I'll keep coming back to.

However, my shrimp pita only contained three shrimp. I opted for a Greek salad instead of fries. My husband said his dish was fine. Overall, the restaurant was much more crowded than I expected for a Thursday night in Bee Caves. The staff did their best to keep up with the demand. Although I saw two servers, the manager also helped out where he could. It took a while for us to be acknowledged and for our orders to be taken. However, the food came out quickly after we ordered. The place has a large patio area as well as indoor seating, plus a sizable bar with TVs. I felt the food was fresh and well-prepared. I do wish there had been more shrimp in my pita and that the price was lower. I paid $19 for a pita with just three shrimp, and there was an extra charge for the salad instead of fries. Since we don't eat out as much as we used to, I'm not sure when we will return.

In Austin visiting and being from Buffalo and having a Greek family I wanted to get some Greek…read morefood. No Yia Yia around so I had to go out and find a place. Well after looking at several restaurants on yelp I found that most restaurants were Mediterranean but more middle eastern than Greek. Until I saw Opa. Well my wife and I gave it a shot. And we were pretty well pleased. We had a Greek salad where all the ingredients were super fresh with a nice pita bread and a grape leaf and a 2 nice pieces of feta. I also had a chicken gyro. Again all super fresh veggies filled the pita wrap and very tasty chicken. They had outdoor seating for our dog who was our dinner guest. But you have to order inside. Which I did. The person who took the order was busy but did a great job. We asked for a couple of large glasses of water with lemon and she promptly took care of us. There were small glasses out on the table but we wanted large ones cus we didn't want to keep walking inside. No problem. Food arrived after a short while and was delicious. They have a nice parking lot however getting in and out can be a little bit crazy when you have everyone from Austin rushing home. Had to wait a long time to get to exit the parking lot cus not one Texan driver would give us a break and let me in the exit lane. Next time I see a Texas license plate in New York I will remember that. But I will still give them a break.

Parking was a bit of a challenge but was able to park on the curb out front. Once inside, we placed our order at the counter and pre-paid and were given a number. They have an extensive menu with traditional Greek dishes and all-day breakfast options. As well as a full bar offering aromatic coffee, hand-crafted cocktails, fine wine, and a selection of local and international beers. The restaurant was busy we were able to place our order in a timely fashion. I opted for a cocktail along with lentils and rice and added chicken as the protein. There was indoor and outdoor seating available. After ordering, we sat outside in the most cozy and intimate outdoor seating area. Unfortunately, after waiting 30+ minutes, we never received our food. When we checked at the counter, the interaction felt pretty condescending, staff insisted the order had already been brought out even though we never received it and still had our number with us. At that point we had to cancel the order so we wouldn't miss our show. I do appreciate that they offered a full refund without issue, but overall the experience left us disappointed, especially with how the situation was handled.
