We always stop by Ziggy's for lunch when passing through SLO. There are only a few indoor seats and a couple of tables, but not usually anyone eating dine-in so we haven't had trouble getting a spot to sit. I like the Phoenix burger, perfectly spicy, packed with flavor, I got the Ziggy's patty was was very good but fell apart a little, so a little messy. My husband loves the buffalo chicken burger, also good is the Crunchwrap, the Cauliflower bowl, and the SHAKES!

For vegan food specifically, Ziggy's is without question a 5/5 . The owner provides input on popular dishes and the food comes out fresh and quick! The menu takes a fun spin on some of the fast food / restaurant favs including: a Crunchwrap supreme, fried cauliflower, dirty fries (similar to animal style fries), burgers and shakes. The restaurant itself is small, making it more of "to-go" style set up but it was perfect for us to grab a bite and take it to the beach. I would highly recommend Ziggy's whether or not you're vegan. It's worth the stop in SLO!

100% Vegan. Ziggy's is so good. Tonight I had a Mushroom Ziggy patty 'hamburger', my husband enjoyed the Old 58 Ziggy patty burger along with fries and we shared an avocado roll. All had great flavors. The mushroom burger had a huge amount of 'shrooms. The vegan cheeses on our burgers had great texture. The quantities were large, the quality was excellent. Friendly service. A couple tables for seating indoors. And a couple tables outside. Highly recommend Ziggy's for vegans and non-vegans. You will not be disappointed.

Pretty solid spot for vegan food! I had the Avocado Egg Rolls and Avocado Taco. The egg rolls and accompanying sauce were so good, but the portion size was a bit small considering they were $10. The Avocado Taco wasn't bad, but I do wish it came with more sauce or salsa as it was a little bit dry. I did appreciate how thinly they shredded the kale though. I'm not usually a kale person but I enjoyed it here. Overall, the food was good enough to warrant a return visit! I'd probably reach for one of their burgers next time.

Have been wanting to try Ziggys for quite a long while now and finally made it here for lunch after going to a Cal Poly Soccer game. It is quite a small spot with just a couple of small tables and chairs inside and outside. They are 100% plant based / vegan and have burgers, tacos, salads and shakes on the menu. I ordered the dirty fries and Nashville hot chicken sandwich. For someone who is not vegan, I was pleasantly surprised at the taste of the items. Everything was good especially the ziggy sauce they have on the dirty fries (which also come with sautéed onions and cheese). The Neapolitan shake blew me away - I would never have known it was not a regular milkshake, it was delish! Overall, definitely a great spot to eat for those that are looking for plant based vegan options! They also have another location in downtown Paso Robles!

I have been here a few times and am finally writing a review for this great vegan spot. Ziggy's makes their own vegan burgers, but they also have Impossible Burgers. I always choose a Ziggy patty (black beans, pinto beans, carrots, corn, bell peppers, & spices). They make their own soft serve as well. I was lucky enough to be there when Shamrock Shakes were a special on the menu. I always get it to-go, but there a few areas for inside seating if you'd rather stay there. There is a parking lot that is shared with a number of other businesses, but there is also street parking available.

I've eaten food from here once prior with a delivery lunch from a friend, but today was my first time in store and the service is just as good as the food. . It was a late Sunday afternoon and my friends and I decided to stop here for some vegan eats. The storefront is small with two (2) bench tables inside parallel to a table filled with drink bubblers, napkins and utensils and the patio donned two (2) parallel tables as well. We stood in the lobby in front of the order counter and reviewed one of the pink paper menus stacked above the inflatable piggy's head. I ordered the grilled cheese and added tomato and a side of fries. My friends got the avocado egg rolls, cauliflower taco and the small breakfast burrito. With the appetite of a hungry toddler we inhaled our meals without letting the camera eat first :-0 . The vegan grilled cheese satisfied with melty corners and succulence from the tomato and the multitude of fries were generously hot, thin and crispy. I dipped them in all three of their sauces: ketchup, ranch and barbecue. The ranch being vegan (obviously) had a tzatziki flavor profile and visible herbs; creamy and refreshing. One of my friends let me have a bite of their breakfast burrito and it did not disappoint. The impossible meat was savory enough to disguise its plant based origins. . The young man at the counter that took our order was a tall, ginger-strawberry, brunette and helped me decide what to order. . If you're looking for vegan fast food, don't wait until pigs fly to try Ziggy's!

Was traveling through SLO on a road trip. Found Ziggy's on Happy Cow - SO HAPPY we stopped here! Food was really good - and they were SO helpful with a soy allergy we had in our party. Special shoutout to Zach who took our phone call; answered all our questions - never made me feel like a burden with my allergy inquiries. He was literally SO amazing I thought that he must be the owner, to care so much that we had a great and safe experience. So much respect to him! We loved the food, and the service, and the little flying pig logo - had to buy a shirt to commemorate the occasion. Told all my vegan friends to check it out when in SLO! (Los Angeles crowd here) Thanks again!

I placed my order on the kiosk, which I found very easy to use. I ordered Smoothie 5 and Panini 6. This came out to $36.97. For the smoothie, I subbed out strawberries (because I'm allergic) and added bananas. I found that to be a really great option that they have at no extra charge. For the panini, I didn't realize they had half and full orders until I got up to the kiosk. I opted for the full order, and then realized once I sat down that I probably would have been better off with the half option. My smoothie arrived at the table at 11:49, whereas my panini arrived at 11:53, so the wait in total was about 15 minutes which is not bad at all for how busy it was. My friends ordered the Greens 5 with prosciutto, Toast 4, Bowl 1, Bowl 6, and everyone agreed that we would definitely come back. One thing that was funny to us is that we felt like the photos on the menu looked smaller than the portions that actually arrived. My friend ordered the Greens and a Bowl thinking it would be small, and she realized very quickly that she was going to need a takeout box for her salad. (This is a good problem to have, rather than the other way around!). The service was also top notch. Even though I ordered on the kiosk, I was still able to interact with the employees, as they frequently came around to ask if they could clear off plates from our table. I also went up to the front to ask for a box, and she kindly directed me to where the boxes were located that I could just grab. Next time, I would definitely mentally prepare myself for how busy it is, but for the quality of ingredients, and the portion size, I think it is great and would definitely come back.

Tasted similar to a 1,000 isle type dressing. 3) three pea pizza: buddy doesn't like goat cheese so ordered it on the side. Crust was great, veggies fresh & colorful. It really needs the goat cheese though. Otherwise it lacks dimension. I was able to sprinkle on my pieces. Made a world of difference. 4) bee stang: crust had crisp edges. It's one of those things where you don't know what you want but every menu all looks the same. We finally tried it out for dinner after a weekend in the wine country. The restaurant is right in the heart of downtown SLO next to the park and riverwalk. We had an early reservation at 6 on a Saturday and let me say the place was packed. The outside patio was completely full which was nice to see. Checking in was easy with the hostess. All was sweet and made it fast and simply and we were seated right away without having to wait for the whole party to arrive. Menu wise, a bit of everything but they specialized in paella's. And that was had. Our waitress Kaitlin was the sweetest. Right from the start, she was a major doll. Made sure we were taken care of throughout the whole dining experience. Started off with a bottle of red for the table. A good selections from their menu. Then a few small shared plates for the table. An order of the bacon wrapped dates, Brussels sprouts, Peruvian shrimp ceviche and the gambas al ajillo. First off the dates, very tasty with salty and sweet. A good bite size with about 6 piece. Then the ceviche, nice chunks of shrimp with all the trimming. Cucumber, red onions, tomatoes , avocado, cilantro and chips. Then you have the sprouts which is pretty self explanatory. Roasted to a nice crisp with golden raisins and almonds. Pretty decent and delicious. Lastly the gambas, sautéed shrimp in paprika garlic and white wine sauce with a Parmesan slice of sourdough bread. Everything was delicious and a good start to an amazing meal. I do recommend the starters. For our entree, even though we started off with loads of the shared plates. The mains all looked amazing. Clearly we had to have the paella which they're known for. There were couple options in them but we opted for the mix which was a combination of the seafood and meat paella. Let me say it was massive and clearly more than enough for four of us. The nice big chunks of seafood and meat which they did not skimp on. The flavors and the whole combination of everything together, chefs kiss. It was pretty massive as well. Of course we couldn't just stop there, we also had the lamb chops with frites. Cooked perfectly and very tasty. The hanger steak with chimichurri sauce accompanied by roasted potatoes and sautéed broccolini. That dish was excellent and steak was cooked perfectly. Lastly, I believe it was one of their specials the sea bass. A nice thick and flaky piece of fish on top of a red sauce of tomatoes, olives. The flavor was excellent and worth it. The food was excellent and it was a surprise when there were leftovers. We may have over done it with the extra entrees after seeing the massive platter of paella. But every dish was excellent and worth it. The service was great with everyone involved. Friendly staff and excellent customer service. The food and wine were great. The whole dining experience was top notch and greatly enjoyed. We will definitely be back. At least we know about the paella now...lol... A must and highly recommend. Too full to even looked at the dessert menu.

We got 10 start off with. I personally got a paella as it has been forever since I had it. *brussel sprouts- 4.5/5- one of the better versions of brussel sprouts I have had in a while, they were beautifully roasted, they retained their character but at the same time were delicious instead of tasting too healthy. *fingerling potatoes-4.5/5- potatoes tend to be tasty any which way they are cooked. The standout in this version was the finger licking sauce it was doused in. *paella- 4.5/5- I got the chicken paella. It came with a soft jammy egg. The dish had 75% protein and about 25% rice. The rice at the bottom was nicely crisped up. The chicken was in large chunks but surprisingly non funky and wonderfully flavored. I stole some of the sauce from the tacos to amp up this dish further. 4.5 for the food, rounding up for the good vibes and great ambiance!
