This place was awesome! Best breakfast I had in CA! I absolutely loved the variety of the menu and all of the amazing healthy options offered. Also, the staff here were so friendly and some of the most kind people I encountered on my trip. I had the Acai Bowl number 4 and it was phenomenal. I loved the options they had because they had different ingredients blended in the base. Mine had peanut butter, Pitaya, and more, and it was amazing. Their coffee is also good and has such a unique flavor. Can't recommend this enough!

Great coffee and the on point Açaí bowls. Love the healthy toppings!

Loved this little place for a great/quick/healthy breakfast! They have toasts, salads, Açaí bowls and breakfast sandwiches. We had the açaí bowls which were very big and very fresh with healthy ingredients! Service was great. Coffee was great and they have tons of options. Order at the counter then sit inside or outside. Cute downtown area with fun shopping nearby. Prices were low for the high quality ingredients

Breakfast/brunch place downtown SLO in an alley just off Higuera Street with indoor and outdoor seating. Order at the counter and then place your number on a table and food comes out to you. Great selection - açaí bowl was perfect size. Avocado toast had a generous portion of sprouts. Panini was good, could have been toasted a little more. Seating options inside or outside with plenty of umbrellas and shade. We went on a Saturday late morning and they had a DJ playing music that was so loud we couldn't hold a conversation inside. Was a little better outside but still too loud. It was Family Weekend for Cal Poly so maybe that was why they had the DJ. Probably will go back the next time we are here.

If you haven't been to Seeds yet, fix that immediately. From the moment you walk in, the space feels effortlessly cool but still cozy -- the kind of place where you can linger over coffee and pretend you don't have responsibilities. But let's talk about the food, because that's the real headline. The smoked salmon toast? Unreal. Perfectly toasted bread with that ideal crunch, layered with silky smoked salmon and fresh, bright toppings that made every bite balanced and flavorful. It felt elevated but not fussy -- just done really, really well. The açai bowl (add peanut butter -- trust me) was next-level. Thick, perfectly chilled açai topped with fresh fruit, and that peanut butter addition made it creamy, rich, and borderline addictive. It was one of those bowls where you slow down because you don't want it to end. And the toasted marshmallow latte? Delectable doesn't even begin to cover it. Smooth espresso with a subtle sweetness and that toasted marshmallow flavor that tastes like a cozy campfire in a cup -- but sophisticated. Not overly sweet, just perfectly balanced. Seeds absolutely nailed it -- amazing food, standout drinks, and a vibe that makes you want to come back the next morning. 10/10, already planning my return.

Stopped in for lunch while visiting SLO and I'm glad I did! This is a great little spot with a clean, healthy menu. They offer Toasts, Paninis, Health Bowls, and a few other options. I ordered Toast 1 with a side salad. It was a light, healthy choice with great flavor -- I'd definitely get it again. Overall: friendly service, relaxed vibe, and clean. If you're in SLO and looking for a healthy meal, I definitely recommend checking this place out!

Really delicious brunch spot. The restaurant itself is super open & airy, plus the decor is beautiful. I love, love, love their toast selections & the rest of their menu looks delicious too. Plus, they have a really fun mimosa menu! This is always a must stop when I'm in SLO.

Came here for lunch with my parents. It's a fast casual place where you order at the counter, find a seat, and then they bring you your food. There is outdoor and indoor seating, and the service was good. The sandwich was good, but a bit pricey for what you get. The flatbread was excellent and more worth the price imo than the sandwich.

This place has a cute outdoor seating area and their menu offers tons of light and healthy breakfast/brunch. I really enjoyed the smoothies #5 (contains coconut water, pitaya, strawberry, coconut banana... etc). It's light and not too thick in consistency for a smoothie.

I ordered two flatbreads, generous portions, served hot and fresh, and absolutely delicious. The acai bowl was a bit basic and not very sweet; minimal honey and granola left it feeling more like pure açaí than a balanced bowl. The matcha latte followed the same theme, not too sweet, but really smooth and refreshing. Ordering was a breeze with the self-serve kiosks, and the open indoor-outdoor setup gives off relaxed SLO vibes, perfect for a sunny breakfast or casual lunch. Would definitely come back for the flatbreads alone!

We spent the weekend in SLO and hit this place up twice because it was so gooood!!! I love the variety of their menu. Service was excellent and the ingredients were fresh! I tried the avocado toast, panini, smoothie, and bowl. All of it was delicious! I wish they had a location in Denver!

Everything was pretty darn good here... but the croissant sandwich was exceptional! We got the number 1 and it was so flaky and flavorful without being greasy. There was an abundance of seating. They had the garage door open so it was super chilly. The açaí bowl wasn't bad... a little too much ice and not as much flavor as others that I've had... but not bad.

Flatbread 3 - it was delicious!

I've been here a couple of times now and the food has been really good. It's got a "healthy hipster" vibe, which can be cool, as they have an indoor/outdoor patio with both communal and private tables. I've always ordered from the kiosk when you first walk in, and had my food brought to me. Service has been limited but always friendly. Overall it's expensive and this last time I was in there the music was cranked up loud and made it a little difficult to relax. Otherwise, I'll probably be back, but maybe not during peak hours.

#Bowl 1 with added whey protein - so good!

Seeds is always reliable and delivers with a delicious, fresh açaí bowl. Their location is so cute in the brick courtyard with nice outdoor seating - a great spot for a sunny day. The service is fast and reliable. I love the classic, bowl 1, with all the toppings it comes with. Love how they have the option to add protein powder, too. I always love stopping by Seeds for a bowl when back in SLO town!

If I lived here, this would be my GO TO spot for ALL my coffee needs. The space is thoughtfully designed with many furniture pieces from repurposed goods. It is spacious with a light, bright airy feel. All the "baristas" were so welcoming and friendly. They seemed to enjoy their job and their coworkers. They set off a very cohesive vibe. I wish I could have spent the morning just being there but had to leave for a funeral. So many things caught our eye! The baked goods were devine. The T-shirts were super soft and I would have bought one of they had our sizes. The roasted coffee beans were priced fairly. I haven't even gotten to the coffee yet! There were so many iced coffee/cold brew options it was really hard to choose. We ended up selecting the Lemon Pistachio shortbread cookie, a Ginger Molasses cookie, a seasonal scone: Honey Cinnamon, an iced Latte and an iced Vanilla Bean Latte: 1/2 sweet and a bag of Classic Espresso beans. My only sadness was I should have gotten a large latte instead of a regular. We saved the desserts for after the funeral and enjoyed the yummy coffees on our way. The Ginger Molasses cookie was perfect. Moist and chewy and not too much ginger. I should have bought more! The Lemon Pistachio cookie had a lovely balance of lemon zest and fine pieces of pistachio in the cookie and a not too tart lemon glaze and pieces of pistachio on top. It wasn't dry or super dense either. Someone making these is an experienced baker! The Honey Cinnamon scone was the best scone we have ever had. It was messy but so worth it. If you want an entire coffee experience, you have to visit Scout Coffee on Foothill Blvd in SLO. You will not stop thinking about what a beautiful experience it was after you've gone.

You'll find students on computers and friends sharing a table. Music plays in the background. - Food: Excellent. My wife and I stop by once a month before visiting a local doctor and split a sandwich for lunch since they're large enough to easily divide. My favorite is the Tuna Melt ($18). Each comes with a nice salad. For people familiar with restaurants in the San Jose area during the 1970s, 80s and 90s...the sandwiches will remind you of the Good Earth. - Drinks: From excellent to okay. Besides visiting with my wife, I also drop by before or after other doctor appointments. That's what happens as you get older! So I'm a semi regular. One drink was iced and one was hot, yet I still received an incorrect order, along with an extra coffee cup we never asked for. To clarify, it was a simple order that somehow became too complex in certain eyes. There were three or four mistakes the cashier had made, and although he appeared apologetic, it felt disengenuine, as if he showed little care for our order as customers. After telling the young man multiple times that the order needed to be compensated, it was finally comped, but I did not get to enjoy the barista's drink that had been made with great skill and precision. I wish the young man at the counter had been more coherent and present with his community, as I felt he could be a potential star for that business. Whether he does not understand or is unsure of a customer's order, avoiding extra drinks, cold versions, or compliance mistakes would help make this café a wonderful experience. I found myself nearly negotiating to have my meal comped for the mistakes he made. His coworkers at the espresso bar made no errors and seemed fully aware that we had ordered correctly and simply wanted decent service, not social disregard or stigmatizing behavior. It did not matter my skin tone. I was still disregarded by this young man and pushed aside as just another account for the business. That young, confident arrogance did not help him, nor does it help a customer's perspective on a first visit. I will still give this café another try, as I am looking for a new place to study and maybe people watch some. I am glad I did not ask for the young man's name and even more patient with his naivety for now.
