First time trying Ziggys is a bomb. Walked 3 blocks to get takeout. There is no parking anywhere When I entered didn't seem too busy. Stood at the counter with several others for a while The guy was busy looking to buy a camera or taking promo photos ?More important than taking orders from the customers. I ordered the Philly steak and cheese. The sandwich was so dry and unseasoned The bread was too thick and not fresh. There was very little cheese that came off on the wrapper. Finally made my way down and have to say that I'm pretty happy with Ziggy Bombs. I love a good steak and cheese, and always up for something original, and Ziggy Bombs delivers on both accounts. Order was correct and the food was nicely packaged to go. For our first time here, we ordered a Boom Boom and a Bacon Cheddar. Both were good, but both were very salty. The Boom Boom was pretty great. Monterey jack, onion crisps, and a house boom boom sauce that had a little kick and avoided the "isn't this just Russian dressing?" curse. The Bacon Cheddar was good, but here's where the salt really got to me. The sandwich was swimming in cheese sauce to the point where I just wiped some gobs off as it spilled out of the sandwich, not my preference. Price was high, but reasonable in comparison to other joints in the area. Cheaper than D'Angelos, just a little more than NERB or Major League, but bigger portion sizes as well. Blame the economy, not restaurants. I hope that they continue to grow and get better. There is some room for improvement, but they're off to a great start. If they can dial back the salt and maybe add some more interesting options that aren't all fried food and heavy sauces, I'll keep coming back for sure. read more

When the bread & the cheese are the highlights of a Steak & Cheese, something isn't right. For a $15 sandwich, the steak should taste better, it was really chewy. It was my first time eating at this establishment and the service was not welcoming at all. It felt certain customers were not welcomed. When it came to the food it was cold within three minutes of it being place at the table. With the unsettling feeling that the workers at this establishment were outputting I did not want to critique their food at that moment. So i stop to eat for lunch at work today and have the shittiest experience ever at Ziggy Bombs in worcester.i ordered the teriaki steak and cheese and it was bland the bread was way too firm and cold and instead of cooking the steak with the teriaki they drizzle a shit load on top dripping all over the sides it was the messiest steak bomb ive ever had.not to mention when they told me the price i go to pay at the counter and the card machine was down so they have thier own atm and i used it and relized after i took out the 20.00 i needed the atm wich is owned by them charged me a $5.75 service fee when i tell to two guys at the counter the one that seemed to be in charge tried telling me oh thats from cash app not us and my charge on my cash app showed it was from their atm so after said ind done it was over 28.00 for this shitty steak bomb.was sitting there eating when a past cust came in and said damn your card machine is down again then the worker says to him oh we have a atm machine the cust said fuck that im not getting charged a fuckin $5.75 fee agian.i will never send not even my worst enemy there to eat let alone go there again what a rip off all ways then one. read more

I found free parking in the back parking lot which is small . There were a lot of homeless around as we walked around the block but that's a Worcester problem not a restaurants. The place was empty . I got the OG which is their plain steak , onions , peppers and cheese . The sandwich bread was fresh , soft and the steak was great with a correct cheese to meat ratio excellent . The four not five stars were for the soda selection . They have a specialty soda company store label brand in glass bottles . 12 oz size no cola ? No coke or Pepsi . The root beer was good but I wanted a coke . Second reason was I split the sandwich with a child , they saw that when we ordered yet when the kid brought it over it was wrapped up in foil , no plate , tray or anything to eat on . At $22 for two sodas and the sub they could throw in a paper plate . This is not a chain it's a very clean brick and mortar that serves hot delicious steak and cheese that is far better than normal pizza parlor fair .. I think The price reflects the quality , I recommend this place . Worcester has a famous hot dog spot And now they have a real deal steak and cheese spot . Next time I'll take it to go and bring a coke and I'll buy two sandwiches and eat one and the kids other half so boom 5 stars !!!! read more

this place was such a disappointment, didn't have half the stuff we wanted, and i ordered bacon cheddar fries and instead of saying we didn't have the waffle fries the just gave me regular the subs tasted like they used steakums!!! nasty food never coming back here that's for sure read more
