(non private rooms etc). I'm currently pregnant so I haven't done the full body massage in the private rooms yet but I plan to in the future. The ladies have all been about my comfort being pregnant and making sure baby is comfortable along with pressure being either too light of too firm and to let them know if they needed to change at all. I've been waiting for the opportunity to do it since my double lung transplant on April 16, 2023. I feel incredible because I just got my first full body massage and foot massage at a place that's only 2 miles away from our condo! #RelaxFootMassage which evidently used to be called Happy Feet, was spotless, which of course was my main item I was looking for obviously since I'm immunosuppressed. You keep your clothes on, you're in the back where there are multiple beds in there where they keep the lights on dim and lovely spa music playing. Lisa started on my back and yes, she had a very heavy touch which I can't handle at all. I just don't like it because I'm too sensitive. But as soon as I got her to have the right touch for me, it was pure heaven! She asked a few times if I was OK because she knew that when she first started, it was too rough for me. One of the times I realized she woke me up by asking it. Yes, it was THAT incredibly comfortable. I then caught myself once I turned over starting to snore. I woke up to the sound of my own snore! I'm sure I wasn't the only one to ever do that but OY! And I am not the type to be able to just fall asleep wherever I am. I don't even have the ability to sleep on a flight. So you know that this was inCREDible. And then the feet massage... O...M...G!! I've been having a sore right foot right on the bottom of my heel for two months. Although it is still tender, the pain now on it and I asked her to actually focus more on my right heel is nothing like what it has been. I know of course every masseuse has different touches, but I absolutely loved Lisa because now she'll know that I like it much softer. The head massage... Oh, that head massage... I felt like I was in a dream state. And what a way to end my phenomenal experience... They are incredibly honest as well . I didn't have my glasses on yet and when I was paying with my credit card wanting to include my tip on that , because of something I had done, the lady at the desk immediately stopped me from continuing and pointed out what I had written by accident. She could have very easily have left what I had written. I am feeling so relaxed and will enjoy this feeling for as long as I can tonight before my husband and son get back from work, I definitely have found where I will be going perhaps once a month. I booked an appointment last minute after work and asked if I could have a female massuese and she was able to. Absolutely phenomenal! She did such a great job! Not too gentle but not too harsh. She got all my knots out from work and stress. At one point I heard myself snore then wake up because I was so relaxed LOL. My husband had never had a massage before and my first and last was 20 years ago, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Things to consider: They had good dark lighting and music to set the mood for relaxation, but you can still hear traffic outside. This didn't bother me, but if you're someone who doesn't want to hear that I recommend earbuds. There's a dispensary downstairs and you can smell it lightly, so if you're sensitive to that be aware you can slightly smell that. Not their fault, just is one of those things. The price is pretty great. I shopped around and I saw how massages can range quite a bit. This was on the lower average scale. After we were done it felt really awkward though because there was no side chat of any kind. It was just okay you owe this much. We paid and I was waiting for a receipt, but she was just like "okay". So, we just sort of turned around to leave. I must have said thank you like 4 times between the end of the massage and paying lol. When we were leaving my husband's masseuse gave us some water and said "have a nice day" and that was the end of our experience. It was all fine, but not overly welcoming. Arrive today, 6/14, and they said it's a new owner, and handed me a business card with a new name (but the website says it's been there since 2020??). The store front is exactly the same, same sign, same number. Owner was not polite and did not honor the 2 year old GC as they promised (CA state law states GC's are good for 5 years). If you want a business that prioritizes its customers, DO NOT go here. Shame on this place. Take my $75 and buy a sign that reflects your current name and maybe a notification to patrons that you are a thief.
