The hours are great for late night drinks and dinner, and service was very attentive and recommended some great bar food choices! Highly recommend the popcorn chicken, it was made with dark meat and had an extra crunch packed full of flavor. The ambiance was vintage and lux, perfect for a date night with some Vietnamese tunes that definitely sets the mood!

They had bento boxes and dessert similar to Meet Fresh, and it was more of a casual, hang out spot. This new store is next to Ztao and they are more of a sit in restaurant. Their menu was short and when I asked if they had bento boxes, the waitress didn't really understand my question. Their menu consisted of.. 1. Main Entree $14.99 that came with rice, noodles, or congee 2. Soup $3.99 three options 3. Sides $4.99 several options No dessert menu, only a little stand on the table with taro pudding that costed $8.95. We ordered their braised pork chop, daikon meatball soup, and pig ears. Like I mentioned, food was good, but nothing special. You can only order the side and soup if you order one of the main entrees. This new store is nothing like their old store, just fyi.

Yesterday I ordered the spicy cold noodles, and today I went with the LA galbi combo, which includes the spicy cold noodles with short ribs. The short ribs are served on a sizzling plate and were absolutely delicious. When you walk in, you place your order at the front, receive a buzzer, and then pick up your food cafeteria-style from the kitchen counter area once it's ready. Everything is self-serve, which is why they don't accept tips. The utensils are tucked away in a pull-out drawer on the side of the table--super cute. They also offer complimentary hot soup for dine-in guests that you can pour yourself at the water station. The food here is a solid 10/10. I'm from California, where we're not exactly lacking in amazing, authentic Korean food--especially in LA and the Bay Area (Santa Clara in particular). But I have to say, it's rare that a place makes me want to come back immediately the next day. Maybe it's because I've had one too many Texas tri-tip lately, but this place was exactly what I needed.

The noodles had great texture, the broth was rich without being overly salty, and the side dishes were fresh and plentiful. Service was straightforward and efficient--not overly chatty, but they got the job done and kept things moving smoothly. You won't feel ignored, but you also won't be on a first-name basis with your server by the end of the night. Ambiance is simple and casual. It's not trying to be fancy--it's more of a laid-back, everyday kind of place where the focus is clearly on the food. If you're looking for a trendy vibe, this isn't it. But if you just want solid Korean comfort food, it delivers. Overall: great for when you're craving noodles and want an honest, satisfying meal without the frills.

You self order at a kiosk and seat wherever and wait for your order. I got the minced pork noodle with medium spicy while my sister got beef with mild spicy. Came here from a post on social media with high hopes. Ordered our food at the kiosk and took a seat. Later an employee came over to inform me they were sold out of something I ordered and let me choose something else. This is fine and not a part of my negative review - it happens - I chose the beef noodle soup, extra spicy, with marinated egg. The cucumber salad we ordered was lacking any and all seasoning. Sadly I make a version of this salad at home, Chinese style, and it is way more flavorful. They didn't let the cucumbers soak in salt beforehand, so they were completely flavorless. Even after adding soy sauce it still didn't save it. Normally the wife and I finish the cucumber salad at other places we order it from, but we didn't even finish this one. When our soup arrived it was extremely oily. Basically mostly oil it seemed, you can see it coating and clinging to the entire spoon. Complely unappealing. I'm not sure if this is something particular to this style/region of a Chinese food or what, but I couldn't eat it. Even worse than the oil issue however, was that the meat in the soup was completely inedible! Literally each piece was either 95% ligament or fat and was just chewy and wouldn't even break down. I kid you not there was maybe a nibble of tender edible meat in the entire bowl of soup. And I don't say this lightly, I'm not a picky eater and generally try to find the positive in food. To top it off, I didn't even get the right kind of egg I ordered in my soup. I wonder if they gave me someone else's order. Either way, it was terrible. Ended up leaving almost the entire soup, even though I was starving. As for positives, the egg noodles in the soup were okay. That's all I can give it. Also, the soup dumplings were delicious. However, given the disappointment in the rest of the food here, we will not be coming back just for soup dumplings. Sadly, this was a huge let down. No wonder it was so empty.
