This is nothing but a scam company. I initially ordered a USB camera, but the sound didn't work. I returned it and ordered a frame camera instead--only to find that it doesn't work either. It's supposed to record motion-activated movements, but it doesn't function at all. I've tried to contact customer service at least 15 times through email, phone calls, and support tickets, but they never respond or resolve the issue. As for the USB camera I returned, despite providing confirmation from my shipping carrier that it was delivered, they claim it was "never received." There seems to be no way to get my money back. I was very unsatisfied with the staff as they would not honor a defective design on their product. I purchased 2 smoke detector nanny cams. Based on the design of the smoke detector and it not being able to properly mount on the ceiling*** I asked for a credit and later was rudely told that they will only replace and " I can sell it myself if I want".... I went back to brickhouse security . *** 1. The plug does not allow the device to be flushed against the wall/ceiling .2. Also the distance of the interior plug does not allow for a tight connection. It kept falling out. 3. The back plate to the smoke detector is very small and flat to the device so it does not allow for aligning the camera as the plug will come out due to it being too bulky and far from the interior connection. read more

TOTAL SCAM COMPANY. I received a "camera pen" totally bricked. No power on, no indication of recording, no connection to computer. When I call for a refund, they make you pay for shipping. Unless you are really disturbed by their totally fraudulent product and say that very clearly, there is apparently a 15% RESTOCKING FEE that is applied! Thank goodness i kept the tracking number, they claimed they never received it, even though i put the RMA number on the package. They asked for the tracking number said they received it and would refund my credit card. 2 weeks later still no refund, i kept asking when i would be refunded and was told soon. Finally i got fed up and filed a dispute with AMEX. Credit card company reversed the charges. A month later the same charge appears on my credit again. Same thing, filed a dispute again. I purchased the 4K Orca Sunglasses in 2022 and recently noticed the resolution of the camera failing me miserably. The image looked grainy and with thick horizontal lines, which completely obscures the view. I called Zetronix's customer service department to ask for them to repair or replaced the sunglasses since I rarely used them to film and they told that the warranty had expired and that they would not replaced them. I initially tried to purchase video glasses and, rather than receiving a confirmation of the purchase, their system sent me an email saying the glasses were still in my cart. So I reprocessed the purchase, this time adding in a $10 coupon I forgot to add to my initial purchase. Unfortunately, their system charged me for and sent me both pair. When I tried to return the initial purchase for which there was no confirmation, I was told I could return them, but would be charged a restocking fee and would have to pay for shipping myself. This, alone, is unacceptable given that the issue was due to their system error. But I did return the glasses, along with the receipt showing that I was charged $149.98. Upon receipt of the refund, Zetronix switched out that order for the other order where I included the $10 coupon so they refunded me on the less expensive pair of glasses, charged me a restocking fee AND made me pay for shipping on a pair of glasses that their company's system sent me by mistake. All-in-all, I've lost $35.55 in this transaction. I will not be buying from Zetronix again in the future which is sad, because I actually like the product and would have likely purchased more of the glasses for gifts and marketing purposes for my business. I wish I saw this before i bought, like so many said here already. I tried posting bad review on their site but of course it never got published. The customer service did reach out though; trying to salvage the situation; but in the end the product wasn't under warranty anymore and they did nothing to help me; and assured me that any star rating would be published; which it never did. Here's what I tried to write about the clock camera I got: From day 1 I wasn't really impressed, but kept it anyway to see if it would be "good enough" for my purpose. After 1 year, the camera died, I tried to write a review, but before posting, they tried to help me come to a satisfactory resolution. Great that customer service and support tried to reach out, but I stated to them from the start that I was out of warranty; and the end result was they couldn't hep me because the warranty was over. Then, my review never got posted, so I'm here trying to post again. Here are my findings after 1 year experience with this product: - Camera resolution is less than advertised. - Audio is poor and is out of sync with video. - Product died 1 year 3 months later. (Of course, now out of warranty). - IR is bad so they try to compansate by making the clock so bright it's almost daylight in the room. (Ok maybe not that bright, but is way brighter than most clocks). - Loop recording never works. Once the memory card nears full all remote viewing stops; once I clear the memory card, things work again. - Blocking traffic to/from China in my firewall stops the remote access to the camera.....hmmmm; Chinese backdoor to this product? Support never answered me on this when I questioned it. - Had a thumbnail of motion detected from someone else's cam show up on a few occasions; this should never happen if it actually is a secure thing - this tells me the data is being leaked to some server somewhere....and there was some cross contamination between other cameras. In the end, I have my doubts about the legitamicy of this company and their products. If they are indeed a US company as advertized, they need to do some serious internal investigation as to what is going on with remote access and China! read more

Wish we had come here first. Bought a camera bulb that did not fit in a fixture once it arrived. They don't tell you up from that their "100% Satisfaction Guarantee " actually means you mail the item back at your expense and pay a 15-30% restocking fee! Ought oh! Oops! Forgot to tell you that! Well here it is in writing! They send it to you repeatedly, shoving it down your throat when you actually try to return an item! Oh and even though they mailed the lightbulb in it's original box and then in a padded plastic envelope with no bubble wrap, I'm responsible for getting it back to them in one piece. They even tell you to put the item box inside of another protective box to mail it back to them, not the plastic bag it came in, but a box. Let me just get that for you. This company has no idea that there is a thing called Customer Service. I got an item from them and they sent the wrong charging cable. I tried to get a hold of them but it was impossible. I sent emails, called them. Nothing. When you call them, you put are on hold after going through their menu and then after being on hold for about an hour they hang up without answering. The item I purchased has a weird outlet (not like an iphone or an old blackberry) and no one knows what it is! I've pretty much given up on the item I purchased and will chalk it up to a lesson learned. If you see this company and you think that some of their items look cool, stay away!!! Absolutely horrible. You can't get a hold of anyone there at all. Maybe one day I'll figure out what the cable is that I need and I'll see if the thing works but I'd be surprised if it worked without problems based on how things have gone. I wish to add to my review (complaint) Posted by Linda R. The zMicroDV-1080IR body cam that they shipped me did NOT even match the picture on their site nor the box in which it came. While all black in the photos, this one had 5 diamond like studs around the camera lens on the front, making it very visible, which is not exactly what one wants when using a discreet cam. Also the plastic clip on the back is so cheaply made I would not trust it to not call off. Having bought one 2 years ago, it was well made but I lost it. The clip solid & it was all black... not easy to notice. And, that old clip was so solid I was able to attach it to various items in my home as well as outdoors in bushes and in plants indoors (as well as other things). When I told them a 'Jesse responded' that it was "not intended to put in plant pots TO SPY ON YOUR FRIENDS".... I only put clipped to things indoors when I went out for home protection. I found this insulting and rude. A 2nd camera which connected to WIFI I also ordered but because it was on sale, but with an email telling them not to mail it until we spoke, as I read a review saying a one had trouble assembling it, that I was a senior who had not used such a WIFI device before and needed something user friendly. After talking I agreed to try but informed him I would be sending it back if I had difficulty with it. He assured me they had a 30 day return AND AT NO TIME DID HE TELL ME THERE WOULD BE A FEE TO RETURN IT OF 15% OR 30% IF IT WAS NOT PACKAGED JUST RIGHT. So the fee they would be keeping from me should I return would be $45.00 to $90.00 of my 300.00 purchase. This is told once you call to return and not advertised on the page showing the product & stating 30 day return. They emailed me this information upon learning I would be returning both. I didn't even open the 2nd package after seeing the very poor quality and sparkly diamond like studs on the front. Appears at these fees they can earn their income on return fees alone. I purchased 2 items from this company on December 5 2016. After receiving them I decided to return them. On December 28, 2016 I returned both items via priority mail to the company. I never received a credit back to my card or any response at all from the company. I have now followed up with 3 separate phone calls over the past 3 weeks and have yet to hear anything from this company. 2 stars. the 4k security camera did arrive, it works but only after I found out that it will ONLY work on a cell phone or tablet. the picture is so small you need a magnifying glass to see it. I was expecting to watch full size on my computer but that can't be done. Very disappointing. Instructions are sketchy at best. Just the very basics in bad english. The solar charger is way too small. Picture is clear but is only displayed as a split screen-top 1/3 then center third is wide angle and bottom third is controls. You are told none of this when buying. they do have some phone support; very limited. their website reviews are obviously all fake, complete with obvious Chinese grammar errors. I recommend you save yourself time, money and a negative experience. There hundreds of negative reviews that I wish I had found prior to purchasing. Bought a cam 2 years ago & it worked well. Thought was ordering another but it was nothing like the one I first bought. More expensive but cheaply made. Ask for a refund, good luck. They have rules to follow. Best to contact the BBB and ask for assistance to resolve your issues. Better yet, find another company to purchase your product from. Nothing buy trouble and difficulty. In my opinion they should not be allowed to be in business. Oh, and what they don't tell you until after you want to return the item is that they ARE going to make money on you no matter what. As they charge a 15% restocking fee. I understand that in some companies, but I believe Zetronix expects returns. In my case of a 300.76 purchase, they will keep $45.11. So not only must I pay the return fee, they are keeping a significant $ amount. So if they only sold items they know will be returned, they will still make money to stay in business. Additionally, they sent me a letter that there would be additional fees if the items were not re packaged exactly as they came in the box, that there must be no markings on the box & if the return box must be mailed within 3 days after receiving the return number & that if not received by them within 7-10 days, the return number expires. Once received they state it will be 7-21 days before you receive a refund. However if you read all the reviews there are many that did not receive a refund. This company appears they /may operate (make money) by knowingly selling defective/substandard products and simply making money on the returns should you be fortunate enough to get a refund. I don't write reviews usually. I do not remember writing a negative review, so this experience has been extreme in my opinion. Buy only if you expect and care to deal with issues. Like others have stated, customer service sucks! They never answer calls, or email. We've been trying to contact them several times a day for over a week. They don't answer their phones. We've sent several emails, per their website instructions, and they never answer them either. We ordered 2 of their wall chargers with hidden wifi cameras. We paid for 2 day shipping, which ended up taking 11 days to get her. (I would like a refund for the extra shipping, but I know that will not happen.) Today the order finally came. And low and behold, it was absolutely the worst packaging job ever. Items were placed in an envelope, that looked like it had been run over by a truck. Plastic parts were broken. The little box the chargers came in were dented, and even the cd was crushed--totally unusable. (Note: one of the boxes were ok; the other one wasn't.) AND, the usb thumb drives that came with them are not working with Windows 10--error message saying that the devices are not recognized by Windows. And not only that, but the other cd that wasn't damaged, wouldn't work either -- it just kept spinning in the dvd player, and then eventually the player would spit out the dvd. The main problem is that the devices themselves will not connect to our wifi. I have followed the instructions on some youtube videos to no avail. Our wifi works just fine for everything else. I have an iPhone (newest model, x max plus) and my husband has an Android. Neither phone will find the wall chargers. I have reset them. After reading all the reviews (after the fact), I will be calling customer service for our charge card and will be placing a dispute on this order. After being ignored for 9 days, and along with the fact that nothing works, including a cd and a thumb drive not working, I am not trusting this company any more. (P.S. It's interesting that basically the company only replies to YELP reviews that leave positive comments--at least from what I have seen.) read more

I just chalked it up as a loss and forgot about it. I then had something come up missing and wish I had my camera. I contacted them via Facebook and after many attempts the finally answered. The person on Facebook said that they would investigate. I did not hear back from him.
