Unfortunately, the work done by CPR lasted only 3 months. I had to pay another few hundred dollars to have their faulty screen part replaced on Sept. 2nd by another repair service. This service informed me that certain sensors and the waterproof seal had not been properly reconnected during the repair that CPR completed. Not only did CPR take an exorbitant amount of time and money to repair my phone, they also cut corners and used shoddy equipment resulting in more money out of pocket for me to once again repair the poor work completed. I initially went in for a diagnostic and trialed two options for fixing my phone to no avail. They offered me a refund for the repairs that did not end up solving my issue and let me know that they could proceed to take another step, but that it could end up bricking my phone if it did not work. I opted to err on the side of caution since my phone still functioned and decided to pursue another option that Pan Pan suggested based on my insurance/warranty. I was able to get a replacement phone quickly after he assisted me with the paperwork involved so I'm grateful for his excellent service and knowledge of the repairs/insurance. Overall it ended up being cheaper than the cost of the repairs too.

Two reasons however for giving…read morea 2 stars: - The new screen is a lot less bright than the original, and it's also more reflective. It is very difficult to see anything under a bright sun. The colors are also a lot less vibrant with this new screen. The screen is also not as responsive. I now type a lot slower and have to correct a lot more. I was not warned about all this in advance. - I got quoted and charged $70 for a iPhone SE 2nd generation screen, while "$40 screen replacement" was advertised online and storefront. Wish I hadn't gone here and just paid an extra 50$ to get it at the Apple store instead.

Wow - this is probably the coolest store in all of the Seaport and I'm so excited I got to experience it! From the moment I walked in, Stefan was so attentive and informative. I was a bit confused about the concept of the store but was quickly informed it's a marketplace of sorts for some pretty cool gadgets. I was particularly drawn to the masks, typewriter keyboard, digital pen, and of course - the alarm clock coffee maker that I really really want. Stefan was so knowledgeable about literally everything in the store and really friendly. I will say the toys in here were unique, from bone structure headphones, uv light eater bottles, turtleshell outside speakers, and a 3D printer- a lot of the goods were super expensive but seemed well worth the price. A nice place to walk in and poke around and maybe buy a sweet invention! At the very least, worth the experience :)
