I didn't even eat it right away, but when I reheated it later, everything was still tender and flavorful. Before that, I let my mother taste it and she's very picky and doesn't like much at all. She loved it. My sister loved it too. Both of them are already planning to go back and get it themselves. The people here are incredibly nice, friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. The place is very clean, and everything is cooked fresh to order, which you can really taste. The owners are amazing guys and super welcoming. They also make these homemade ice waters (I think that's what they're called), and I was told the recipe comes from Pennsylvania or Philadelphia. Either way, they are really good. This place is a definite must-try. If you don't go, you're honestly missing out.

Now I had never eaten there before but was there at Easter because they had special order homemade Easter eggs for sale. Today we visited and found many items on the menu to consider. My son ordered a sandwich called the Daily Double and he ate it so fast I couldn't get a photo. I ordered a half chicken salad sandwich which normally comes with soup but they had no soup. They offered chips which I agreed to but the chips didnt make it to my table. Still the chicken salad was delicious. Just regular good chicken salad with mayo and nothing fancy. I loved it. My daughter in law got the Greek Salad. She ate every bite. Granddaughter got chicken nuggets and fries and she actually ate some. Being a picky toddler it's hit or miss. It comes with milk or soda but they had no milk. Instead they brought her a full size adult sweet tea and she burst into very disruptive tears until the super kind hostess brought her a smaller cup with a lid. They offer deli pickles on the house and my son said they were like a dill pickle and very good. The wood bench booths were nice and kept toddler happy to be up close to the table. They do have high chairs but not for use at the booths. They offer free lunch time delivery within 9 miles and their take out business seemed brisk. It seems that they are only open until 3 unless I am wrong about that, because they are a perfect place for supper. So the lack of menu items like soup, milk, and the forgotten chips with my sandwich would normally result in about 4 stars all things considered, but given how accommodating they were, even bringing out food to the cranky toddler first, the very reasonable price and the good food, I'm sticking with 5 stars. We will assuredly be back!

The pizza has the perfect crust thickness. It also had a much crunch to it but was soft inside. Everyone at our table enjoyed their food! Their sauce is a tad on the sweeter side. I enjoy a savory sauce. But, it was still delicious. We had a wonderful visit. We will return

The hotdogs were *remarkably* good, I honestly look forward to coming again soon! The beef hot dog I ordered was cooked perfectly, it had that satisfyingly sort of tough-but-not-too-tough outside that gave way to a fresh, hot middle. The bun was fresh and soft, the meat hot and delicious. The perfect meet to bread to condiment ratio. It's a hot dog that hits the spot!

I went with a regular hot dog combo--topped with chili, onions, and spicy mustard--which comes complete with a bag of chips and a canned drink. The overall taste of the hot dog loaded with those toppings was quite good. My only minor critique was that the hot dog itself was a bit shorter than the bun, and the bun was neither steamed nor toasted. Giving the bun a quick toast or steam would have really elevated the whole experience and tied the great toppings and dog together even better. Still, it's a convenient and tasty spot for a quick bite!

Before I start I would like to say that this review is based solely upon my personal experiences…read moreand my personal experiences alone, so with that being said let's begin!. When I first moved to the state of Virginia from Brooklyn NY I moved to what they call the peninsula where I first noticed the chic-a-sea restaurants. Believe it or not I have never tried any of their restaurants for whatever reason, I can't say!. You're probably wondering why I decided to try it now, well a co worker and I had to bring a work truck to this side of the water from what they call the south side. My co worker made this seem like the best restaurant he had on this side of the water, so I said to myself. Why not?... I ordered a big chicken combo that comes with fries and a drink, then I called my wife and asked if she wanted anything and she wanted a big chicken but just the sandwich not the combo. My co worker also recommended the corn fritters which were ok, not bad at all.. my wife thought they were decent as well. But she said her big chicken sandwich was thin and it seemed like they cut the chicken breast in half and put it between the bread. I would hope they didn't but in any event she was not too pleased with it.. she also stated the chicken was bland and unflavored... My big chicken sandwich was not thin but was blend and unflavored as well. I will say my fries came out hot so no complaints there other than it was a kid size amount of fries for the amount you pay for in the combo price!!I would like to add my beverage that came with my big chicken combo was full of ice and very little beverage which after a few sips I was still thirsty because I had minimal beverage and a cup full of ice. I was not happy about that!. The overall cost was kind of pricey for what you get. Overall I gave 3 stars for my first visit. I would consider trying them out again but getting something different on the menu!.

Was psyched to finally give this place a try after reading the reviews…read more Since it was our first visit, we ordered simple things: a fish sandwich, shrimp basket, chicken nuggets, & a 2 piece chicken basket. Fish sandwich = 4. My daughter felt that it could have used more seasoning. Shrimp = 1. OMG!!! Had I known it was going to be this, I would've ordered something else. #1 - It was a basket that didn't include anything except the shrimp. #2 - They were frozen shrimp which were tasteless and not deveined. They were disgusting. For the cost, I truly thought it was going to be REAL shrimp which were hand breaded. Not!! 2 piece chicken snack = 2. He ordered 2 wings and fries with this snack. The wings were super tiny as if it came from a preemie chick. Lol. Definitely not worth the cost. The chicken was hot, but it could have used more seasoning. Chicken nuggets = 3. They were nothing more than fried Tyson dinosaur nuggets. My son enjoyed them For the most part but said that they were hard. I spent over $20 for this & ended up not eating those nasty shrimp. I wouldn't give it to a dog at this point. I guess I should have ordered something else because I don't see what everyone else is raving about. The parking is a mess as well!!! The lot is tiny & people park anywhere, leaving no room for the drive thru cars to pull around. It's just a mess.
