For a place called sonic, you would think that 30 minutes isn't how long it takes to make food.

We paid cash and our change was incorrect to start. The cup was defective and a milkshake spilt inside our car. The replacement milkshake was incorrect and also had a tear at the bottom of the cup and was leaking. I returned and asked for a refund and was denied, as well as the manager kept my cash receipt, when I asked for it she refused. She also ordered the other employees not to assist me. If I go to Sonic, it's Happy Hour, and I'm getting limeades. Today, the line was surprisingly short, but still a long wait. The drinks were good today. I ordered 4 strawberry limeades and 1 cherry slush. The cashier also had to make my drinks, which did take time and hold up the line, however she was friendly, which was really nice. I think this location would really benefit from having additional workers during busy times, such as Happy Hour. I would frequent again based on today's visit. I gave it a 4 because my drinks were good, service was friendly, and the price was right. The wait kept it from being a perfect score. read more

Food was stupid expensive. Over $27 for a hotdog and a chicken sandwich meal with large Blast. $27? Anyway everything tasted great except the fries. Tiny crinkle fries cooked to a crisp. TERRIBLE. Went to this place to get drinks and just a couple of snacks on the go for me and a couple of people with me. It was very loud, as the interstate is right beside it, so I told the person on the speaker that I could not hear them and I asked her to repeat herself. She spoke each word one at a time as if I were stupid because of this. Very smart mouthed and condescending. This was not the original person that helped us, which wasn't quite as nasty, but she was also very lackluster and sounded like she didn't really want to be there. When we got to the window, we saw the little brown skinned girl in the background with the really nasty attitude. The one working the window was light skinned and was nicer, but wasn't very friendly at all. She was the better of the two, no doubt, but doesn't deserve a medal or anything for her customer service. The point here is... either you want to work or you don't. If you don't, stay home. This Sonic has had terrible turnover and terrible customer service for months and even years. I have been a long time fan of Sonic Drive-Ins. You can either order your meal from your car or their outside dinning area. If you wish to order from your car, you park in one of their spots. Scan their menu and once you are ready to place your order, simply press the red button labeled "Press to Order." Someone shortly responds and asks you what you'd like. Speak directly towards the menu board. You can pay by cash or credit. The credit card machine is right next to the "Press to Order" button. If you wish to pay by cash, have your cash ready for the employee. Minutes later, an employee in rollerblades will bring you your meal. If you wish to sit in their outside dinning area, they have an ordering station where you can place your order in the same fashion (by pressing the red button). The majority of Sonic's menu items are well priced. Their burgers aren't the best, but I definitely appreciate the experience here. They've got Wraps, Hot Dogs, Sundaes, Breakfast items, Slushes, etc. I love their Tots, Ched 'R' Peppers, Pickle-Os (fried pickles), and Cherry Limeade! The employees were kind and quick. At this particular location, the manager Mr. Johnson (I believe this was his name), asked us if everything was OK and if we enjoyed our meals. He was extremely professional and seemed to really care about what his customers thought. This location is also very clean. Whenever I'm in the area to visit my best friend and godson, I will continue to pay a visit to this awesome Sonic's Drive-In! read more

First off let me just say that the items on the menu are in small writing making it hard to see when you pull up to the drive through. Second of all the customer service is trash and real ghetto. If you don't like your job or don't want to do your job go somewhere else. This sonic is empty every time I come to include the spring and summer time. Really disappointed. We pulled up when no other customer was there into one of the bays and waited between 5-10 minutes to be served or even to be noticed. A few cars arrived at the drive thru, and they were served immediately. Much to our disappointment, we walked over to the window just in case the speaker/mic wasn't working at our parking bay. There were 4 people working inside, and all 4 tending to the drive thru, ignoring us. We waited a further 5-10 minutes to be noticed - nothing... we then got back in our car, used the drive thru and were served with attitude - VERY slowly. Should be 0 stars. This Sonic on Mercury Blvd is a joke! Can't finish your order before you get interrupted. "Bianna" has an attitude problem. The side eye as she walked back in was not appreciated. If you don't like your job, there are plenty of other people that would love to have a job. 3 out of 5 times the order is wrong. If the people making the food can't read maybe they should use pictures. No tomato means no red slices with yellow dots. Fries means fries not tots. Honey mustard means honey mustard not popcorn chicken without any sauce. There are very few people that do work at this location that are worth having but they never last long. It would be worth going out of the way and going to another sonic location and bring back cold food than continue dealing with this one. read more

For fast food the food is ok. I think it is strange that on the burgers the didn't have ketchup or mustard or packets. It also looks like for the cheese fries the cheese is just slices of cheese melted instead of liquid cheese. So only the top gets cheese instead of all the fries. From the long wait (according to them, due to shift change, apparently everyone gets off at the same time and they essentially shutdown for about 20 mins) poor service and my order not being accurate I would not recommend. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! We ended up waiting 20 min just for them to take our order. They told us we had to wait in line. No issue with that. We waited and waited and waited. They finally brought out our first order asking for us to pay. We had already seen the credit card approved, we weren't paying again. Then the ice cream didn't have the nuts ordered in it and the Ocean water was flat! We asked the guy to fix the food and the money and he came out saying they didn't have any nuts anywhere (why didn't he know this the first time or when I was ordering?) and he gave my husband an Ocean water that had so much syrup in it that it tasted like a sweet tart. He then told us that we were right and the money had gone through. In the end we sat and waited for our friends order, just a drink, to be brought to us. We ended up leaving because they never came. This sonic blows! I really enjoy Sonics but take it from me, this is a horrible one. The other locations aren't that great either but he one on Mercury is awful. They should close this one. You have to wait forever for fries, chicken tenders, a grilled cheese. You should have to wait long. They always get the order wrong! If you clearly state grilled cheese sandwich and please add bacon, how hard is that to do???? If it isn't one thing its another. Then you you tell them they got the order wrong, sometimes they can become really nasty. The last time they were very rude, I called corporate. The manager for that location returned the call but I wasn't able to pick up. I returned the call TWICE and left a message both times. Never returned my calls.
