To accommodate the 5-hour window that they gave me, I had to skip my morning class in the case they showed up. They did not. They called me give me at 11:00AM saying that they had to go up to Salem that morning and wouldn't arrive until later. I let the office know I missed my morning class, that I would have appreciated a heads up earlier, and because they would have been happy to penalize me had I try to reschedule, I asked to work something out. After they provided no explanation ("I understand, but we're complying with the policy,") I asked to speak to someone else. They left me on hold for 20 minutes before I hung up. The quality of their service and the quality of their work is terrible. They offered a $10 credit when they didn't show up for their scheduled appointment yesterday. Apparently, my time yesterday was only worth $10. They also have this bait and switch thing going on where you're quoted a price but that isn't for the "better" cleaning with the brushes. If you want the "better" cleaning with the brushes, you need to fork over an additional $100.00. I was charged today $157 for about one hour's worth of work and carpets that are now wet but not much cleaner because I didn't pay for the "better" cleaning. Summary: It's been over a month since I last heard from Zerorez. The last communication was a promise that they would come and fix their job that wasn't done properly, instead of giving a refund as I initially requested. Either the product doesn't work, or they didn't do the job properly. Full story: Kyle was really prompt and he and Adam were very nice and respectful in our home. He was very confident in the product's ability to clean our 3 year old carpet, as well as the white markings in our shower. We ended up paying a lot more than we expected - the website said that tile was $1/sq ft, but he said that shower tile (not listed on the website) was actually $1.50. His confidence though and the ease of having these extra things cleaned were exciting to us and we really felt great about the total cost, knowing that the carpet and bathroom would be so clean and safe for our crawling baby.  Kyle told us that we shouldn't walk on the carpet after it was cleaned, so we weren't able to inspect the job before paying $400+ (almost twice the initial quote). Within a few hours though, I needed to go into my daughter's room and get something, so with plastic bags on my feet I carefully went up and immediately noticed the spot I had specifically pointed out to Kyle during our pre-job walk through. It was a 3 day old urine stain that needed some scrubbing, and I was confident would be cleaned up with ease, but after the job it was still very visible and very odorous. I didn't think I would need to do much of an inspection - that the job would have been done right from the beginning, but when I saw that very obvious spot still left, it made me wonder what other areas were missed. I've found many. In my shower there had been a dirty spot that had been needing to be wiped down with a cloth, but I had left it for Zerorez. It was completely missed, and came off easily with a paper towel. Though Kyle claimed to be "certified in tile", he was incorrect about the issues he had claimed (that there was no grout problem, only soap scum that needed zerorez cleaning). The shower looks just as it did before they came. The stairs look brighter than before, but otherwise the rest of the house is no different.  To be honest, I'm super disappointed with the experience. It feels like a lot of effort moving furniture and re arranging nap schedules, not to mention a lot of money, for basically nothing. I ended up cleaning that urine stain myself in about 10 minutes. I had heard such good things about ZeroRez, but I am thinking either the product doesn't work, or the job wasn't done properly.  I texted, called, and then finally emailed asking for help. Kyle took days to get back to us, and then promised he'd come fix the job. We reached out a few days later about him coming- no response or communication to that or anything ever again (it's been a month now). I have light colored carpets and get them cleaned 2x per year. I rotate from Stanley, Zero ReZ, and Rainbow. My recent cleaning was done by Zerorez and It was very unsatisfactory. I have light colored carpets and the stains were very minimal. There were two coffee stains, and a couple little pee stains from a puppy. Very minimal and I thought for sure a professional carpet cleaner would be able to lift the stains. I paid an extra $150 for some pet enzyme spray that did absolutely nothing. When I took a look at the carpet cleaning after it was done, there was no change in the look of the carpets. None of the stains were lifted either. It was a waster of money and despite having good experiences with them in the past I will not be using them again. read more

I called to get a quote for cleaning my 650 square foot apartment, including the carpet, linoleum, and some pet stains. They quoted me $340, which seemed way too high. So, I looked online for a more affordable service and found an ad on Google offering 3 rooms for $109 from this company. I was frustrated and wondered why they didn't offer me that deal. When I called them back, they tried to justify the high cost by saying it was due to the 120 square feet of linoleum. Be careful sounds to me like it is the old bait and switch. read more

They damaged my new bedroom set with their machine, I have tried for 2 weeks for them to resolve this issue, or even call me...NO call backs...no one from management has even bothered to contact me. Cancelled on me minutes before the appointment. A tech had hurt his back on the call prior. Understandable, but they said they could only reschedule someone two weeks later, keep in mind I had already moved all of my heavy furniture by myself (single parent) and had to call a neighbor to move the real heavy stuff. Can't find anyone else who can come out today so I'm going to get a rental and do it myself since I really have no choice. Very frustrated and highly dissatisfied. I'm ok waiting a day or two as things like this happen, but two weeks? I asked the customer service person twice if there was any sooner appointment and explained my situation but she could not assist me. We wanted this to be a great review. They cleaned my grandfathers house 4 weeks ago. They cleaned 2 rooms and told us it won't cost too much. They did a great job and it looks nice. The huge problem is THEY CHARGED HIM OVER $700! He is a 80 years old and there is no way he can afford that price. A few years ago it was cleaned for $200. He just cried when he told me that he got scammed by Zerorez. After a dozen calls to the company, we keep getting told "someone in charge" will call back...still waiting. Customer service and results have declined significantly since the last time I used this company. My carpet was still dirty in the high traffic areas as soon as it dried. After multiple calls and sharing photos the owner came out to clean it again, again it looked fine until it dried. After more calls and delays, I finally got a call back and had him tell me the carpet must be damaged (only in the areas that they didn't get clean) with no evidence to support that that theory. I've had not return call or text since the last time I made contact to resolve this issue 10 days ago. I spent over $400 to get my carpets cleaned in a small house and will have to hire another company to finish the job. Technician (William) did an excellent job, was profession and very polite; the disclosure of specialized services compared to standard services by a scheduling team member was weak; yet the manager for the local team in my area (franchised) made everything right. I would just recommend that potential customers ask detailed questions related to services that they are purchasing. I.e., what is included (what do I get exactly) for the costs of the service I am scheduling, what else would you recommend I consider of the services you offer (if any)? Will what you recommend achieve the desired outcome after all services are complete? What are the guarantees of satisfaction for your services and is that in writing? Is there a local number to contact with any concerns about the services received, just in case. I have no doubt that they will be forthcoming with all the above - if it is asked, it just needs to be asked unfortunately. read more

First I want to explain that my carpet is only 2yrs old. It is high end Mohawk Smart Strand (Horizon collection, Sheer Ecstasy) so if you want to look that up you will see what the cost of my carpeting is & the amazing warrantees of this type of carpet. The padding is also the highest end padding. I have had pet stains on the carpet before when my cats decided to use my Christmas tree as a litter box for over a month & when my kids would sneak the animals into their rooms. With some work I was able to get that urine out completely & it is not at all visible under black light. I called zerores because over the summer for about a month I had a "friend" watching my house & not only did they track in amazing amounts of dirt but they also allowed my animals to just go crazy allllll over my carpet downstairs (which consists of my living room, a short hallway, a front foyer room, one bedroom with a large closet & a small office room = 5 rooms tops). I called Zerorez when they were having a $33 per room "sale" (that should be $165 or $198 if they counted the closet as a room) plus I had them clean my couch, 8 dining room chairs & a rocking chair (over $300 for all that). After All was said & done they charged me (now hold onto your seats!!!) A little over One THOUSAND Six HUNDRED Dollars! Yes you read that right...for 5, maybe 6 rooms and some chairs & a couch I was charged $1600! I was told they used "special extraction methods" and "topical" blah blah blahs.... which would've hurt my pocketbook but been ok IF they had gotten the stains out & did what was promised & IF they had spent more than 3-4hrs on it (yes that means I was charged $400-$533 per hour & I didn't even get a happy ending) The chairs were done okay, I could still see several spots on many of them, the couch still had a couple spots & even two crusty spots and the rocking chair looked ok (also still had some spots). While it was still wet he went around to show me that the stains were "less noticeable" under black light. I just happen to have a very good black light flashlight so after it was dry (which took two days) not only could I still see the dirt on the high traffic areas in regular light as well as a few stains but then I went around with my flashlight & I was LIVID!!! In many areas it looked as if the carpet wasn't even touched!!! ALL THE STAINS WERE STILL THERE!!! I of course called the company back & they sent the same guy back out a week later (and of course he showed up 3 hours later than I was promised) He tried to "explain" that the carpet was stained with the urine and it would still show up under black light no matter what he did & when I told him about past stains I had removed myself that no longer show up, he had nothing to say about that. He also said "urine is not as bad as bleach but close to it" when I explained that my carpet can not be stained with even bleach he again had nothing to say & just continued to give the same excuses as to why I can still see dirt & stains after spending over $1,600. He kept saying "I can't smell anything so that means it worked & I was able to extract all the urine". Even after I pointed out visible stains in broad daylight, he kept making the same excuses over and over as if repeating the BS was going to somehow make it believable. He then said he would go over all the carpet again & clean the spots on my couch & we had to move ALL my furniture All over again & this time he spent a little under 2hours "re cleaning" the carpet. (So now that's a little over $260 per hour if I'm being generous). Right after he left I went around with my black light & what do you know...he didn't touch the spots on the couch and all the carpet is still stained, still not cleaned properly & I am still livid! I have now wasted TWO days & tons of money on this BS company! **update** They came back out TWICE and still there were glowing spots under black lights. And after a while the same spots were just back without needing a backlight. I was tired of dealing with them so I will just never hire them Again & would never recommend them to anyone! read more

I had the local Eugene area Zerorez franchise clean carpets on a home I was moving from and they were a bit late arriving for the appointment, ok understand delays. I was surprised by how quickly the tech " finished" the job. The bedrooms and living area needed minimal cleaning however the stairs needed more attention. When the next day my landlady made comments as to stairs not being clean ( and the fact tech spent little time on them ) I did understand her concerns. She called them to inquire and was told tech was new and would send someone out to address. Well they no showed nor called 1st day. We called again today and we're told manager would call today and address, again ignored with no call back. I personally would never use this company again primarily because of lack of customer service and not calling back as stated. Waste of money and terrible customer service. With a new crawling baby my wife and I decided to call Zerorez. On the phone we were quoted a little over $200 for three rooms, our living room, and to do some spot treatments for a couple animal accidents. When the rep came, who was awesome, he started offering me several upgrades to deodorize and disinfect the carpet in each room. This was confusing because every company I have used in the past has considered disinfecting and deodorizing cleaning the carpet. After the price nearly doubled, adding disinfecting and deodorizing just the room where the dog accidents occurred in, we have a visually clean carpet but our entire house smells like two years of dog living it it. It would have costed an additional $200 for actually cleaning my carpet. That would have been nearly three times the quoted price. Unless your willing to pay three times the cost for the no residue, you should just use a traditional carpet cleaning company. Again, the service rep was great but to me the companies practices are deceptive. read more
