They're in the same building as as Pizza Hut, next to the vape shop. They used to be a different name, not sure if they changed ownership. I believe it's family run and it's always good to support local businesses. They do hair and nails, so it's a good place to know! They're pretty friendly and accommodating. I did gel nails and the lady who did my nails did a good job. I'd chosen my color from their paint samples but they couldn't find the exact color so she gave me a close one she could find. The color I wanted was more violet-ish maroon and what I have now is more red. Nail shape is consistent and the paint lines are generally clean. She missed a couple sides which bothers me a little. She did kind of file my nails a little too short too, when we agreed that we'd keep the length. It took about 40 mins for the whole process.

i am blown away by this place. everything about them has exceeded my expectation…read more found this place on yelp and it is really close to UTD so why not give it a try. called ahead to make sure they are not busy and they weren't! perfect. the place isn't that big but is clean and felt very homey. walked in and greeted immediately and after a long process of deciding what i want i finally picked out a design. and they fulfilled every little thing i ask for. from glow in the dark nail polish to making the fake nails thin to adding the gemstone(see picture!). they done it so professionally and took their time to perfect them. the color is beautiful especially with dipping powder. This place has just turned into my new favorite nail salon. Everyone is so nice and friendly. they can count on one more person to be a regular starting today! me :)

Luckily, an excellent nail tech was recommended to me and was wonderful. When I would visit the salon, one employee was always cleaning. The salon was spotless. WAS. Unfortunately, that nail tech was treated so poorly by the owner, the tech left the salon, along with several excellent techs. But that tech recommended another nail tech that I have been going to since who is also excellent. However, the person who used to always be cleaning has also left. While not dirty, the salon isn't as clean. ONE (there are 2) of the receptionists is NOT nice. The owner is only friendly and nice to her favorites. They favor certain techs and try to send customers to those techs. They also do not notify customers if a nail tech won't be available the day of an appointment. They will allow you to make an appointment with your preferred tech even if that person isn't scheduled to work that day. When you arrive, they will try to push you toward one of their favored techs. I will continue to go to this salon as long as my nail tech is there, but if they leave, I will find a new salon. It is a shame because this salon used to be a very good salon. It was always very busy. Now, it is never busy when I go to my appointment. I don't know if the owner managing it now is different or if she just doesn't care about customer satisfaction anymore.

I showed the technician a photo of the exact look I wanted for my toes, and he confidently assured me he could replicate it. I opted for a simple acrylic overlay no pedicure which took about 45 minutes. Although the process felt a bit rushed, I gave it the benefit of the doubt since it was my first visit and I know every technician works a little differently. At first glance, everything looked fine, so I paid and left. But once I got home and took a closer look, I was honestly shocked. The acrylic was far too thick so much so that it looked like it had seeped underneath my toenails. I've had acrylic overlays many times before, and I've never seen them look this bulky or uneven. I was extremely disappointed, especially after confirming in advance that the technician could execute the look I wanted. This result was nowhere close. When I reached out to the salon, they told me I should've said something before I left. But honestly how was I supposed to notice something like that without bringing my foot to my face? That level of inspection shouldn't even be necessary if the job is done right !!!. I was offered a fix, but unfortunately, I'll be out of town for the next week on vacation (which is exactly why I wanted my toes to look good now).
