One therapist was ALL ATTITUDE another didnt communicate and it was super frustrating. As a retired LMT of 21 yrs I expected better customer service and better massages. The massage rooms are cold and when I commented to the therapist how cold I was she didnt offer to turn on a table warmer (if they even have them). Instead she put on a fan! It was definitely all about her comfort and nothing about the clients! This seems to be an ongoing issue with this place. Happy customers are returning customers and Im not a happy customer. My gift card is used up now so I won't be returning and do not recommend this place.

Will definitely be coming back though, and will be more informed then!

I pointed to the areas in my body I was having issues. Oh my goodness, he hit all the spots, found all my knots and worked on them. I feel amazing after each massage. I am hooked for sure. Best massage in Dallas without the frills!…read more My husband and I get couples massages at E&J and always feel so much better when we leave. He and I have different pressure preferences so I can guarantee they cater to people with opposing needs. I also believe it is a husband/wife duo that owns the spa and they are both so kind! I was in the spa one day when a customer was getting heated over not receiving service because they were late to their appointment, and the owners handled the uncomfortable conflict with such grace that I commend them for. Upon arrival, they offer tea while you wait and provide water and candy when you leave, but other than that, they don't do extreme decor, music, or aromatherapy like some other salons, but I personally enjoy the good quality massage at a decent price over an expensive Massage just for the aesthetic. If you are looking to get a good quality massage, definitely check out E&J!

The rooms were tidy, the table draping was fresh, and there was soft instrumental music playing that made it easy to relax. I left feeling so much better.

This was one of the most uncomfortable and emotionally distressing experiences I've ever had during…read morea massage. From the moment I walked in, the front desk immediately pushed $60-$80 worth of add-ons before I even got into the room. I declined multiple times, but the pressure continued -- even as I was trying to settle in. It felt like they cared more about my money than trying to make me feel comfortable and better! After sharing that I didn't want my arms or legs touched and only wanted my neck shoulders and back to be worked on she told me there would be a $10 upcharge due to their "policy." I agreed, but what followed didn't reflect any professionalism or care. The technique was disjointed, repetitive, and lacked any sense of body awareness. It jumped from overly soft touch to sudden, jarring pressure with no rhythm or transition. It felt like the therapist was just going through motions without any intention or responsiveness. If you have PTSD, physical trauma, or specific boundaries, I strongly urge you to avoid this place. My body was tense the entire session once she crossed boundaries. I disassociated so quick, and she was so unaware. The therapist ignored nonverbal cues, continued working in areas I told her I didn't want worked on, and at one point used hot stones (which I didn't request) in ways that felt invasive and deeply inappropriate. I was completely dissociated by the end of it -- emotionally overwhelmed and retraumatized. On top of that, the therapist left the room multiple times, reducing actual massage time. When the session ended and I went to pay, I had already signed the receipt -- but she pointed to the tip line and said, "Tip? I worked so hard." Caught off guard, I left a very small tip just to get out of the situation, even though I felt completely disregarded throughout the session. Afterward, I sat in my car crying for nearly an hour, trying to calm down. This wasn't just a disappointing experience -- it was an upsetting one. There is no trauma-informed care, no real respect for client boundaries, and no understanding of how to provide a safe, therapeutic massage. If you're looking for professionalism, safety, and actual healing -- this is not the place to go.
