I had a great experience at Oasis Massage. I was able to book a last-minute appointment and was seen within an hour. The space is no-frills and not fancy, but it was clean and comfortable. The rooms were tidy, the table draping was fresh, and there was soft instrumental music playing that made it easy to relax. My masseuse spoke limited English, so communication took a little extra effort. She quickly found all my tense areas and gave an excellent massage with very little direction. I had major back , neck and lower back pain when I entered their location. (I suffer with scoliosis ongoing pain) When I tell you Julie did me right, I went in for a 60 min Regular massage and ended up adding on a 30 minute Lymphatic Drainage Massage. I was semi nude 90% of the time to avoid oil on clothing, she asked and I was okay with it. She asked and listened to what my needs were. The location and suite were clean and following COVID-19 Guidelines. I found Oasis on Groupon and they honored the prices in person. I will definitely go back soon! The massage I received at Oasis Massage in DeSoto, Tx on 6/9/23 was absolutely horrible. The ambiance was nonexisten. No calming music, no relaxing smells, e.g. diffuser... The young male massager used one hand and one thumb to do whatever he was doing. He did not seem like a licensed massage therapist. The pictures are fake news. The spa is in great need of the basic amenities and a make over. My husband and I booked a couples massage. The floor in the room was bare in spots, literally the concrete under the flooring was exposed. No decor and no frills! Old worn out looking bedding and not esthetically pleasing at all. During the massage the therapists kept talking to one another. Which did not allow me to get in the zone. It was also apparent that they were sharing supplies which consisted of one squeeze bottle of whatever oil they were using. No pleasant aromas or decor. Totally not a "spa experience ". The message was ok. It was very very painful but we did purchase the deep tissue message so I guess as far as that goes we got what we paid for. It was not a relaxing or pleasant experience. The place seemed a bit sketchy. The guy at the front desk seemed out of place and a few of the patrons seemed a bit off as well. We wont be back. read more

I read several negative comments about Oasis Massage in Desoto. I feel like these are not credible reviews as my experiences there have been 100% positive. The spa is new and very clean and organized. It is surprisingly well decorated and the staff is very friendly and professional. I have lower back and hip problems and the therapists I've seen many times always give me much need pain relief. No one has ever asked for additional tips or given anything but a professional top rate massage. I highly recommend this spa. read more

I get to Desoto about once a month and was having some back issues. I decided to stop in when I saw Oasis Massage. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a high quality massage place right here in Desoto! Lucy, the owner, did the massage and she is excellent! She really understands massage therapy and she is also a very kind and understanding therapist. I didn't even have to tell her where the tightness was. She found it right away and did an excellent job of treating it with relaxing strokes, focused deep tissue and stretching. The shop was well decorated and very clean. I felt very safe and at home. I showed up for a 9pm couples massage for my boyfriends birthday I booked earlier in the day. When showing up the lady up front is asleep. As we come in she takes my phone for the picture of the barcode and confirmation number. After 5 mins of trying to redeem the Groupon and being unsuccessful she goes ahead and puts us in the massaging room. Once our massage has already started the lady up front comes into our room saying how it didn't work and is trying to make us get up and look while both naked. I asked her if we could just figure it out after the massage and she finally left. The room was miserably cold during the entire massage. Now after our massage she pretty much tells us she got it redeemed and to tip... so my boy friday goes to the car to get his wallet. We told her "10$" she said "10 dollars each?" We said no "5 dollars each" and she said oh okay and I see her press the 5 and everything on the pad. We leave now seeing she charged our card 20$. Pretty bad birthday experience. The key is to know the difference between asian massage and a traditional massage. Asian massage is all about touch hence the reasoning of the request to become fully undressed in nudity and then be covered in a light coverup. You need to be confident in how you feel about your body and free when doing an asian massage because a full body massage is just that...leaving nothing else out. I have been thoroughly pleased with this massage business and they have yet to disappoint. The owner, Lucy, truly cares about service and that you are happy and relaxed. I have frequented this location since June 2019 and have found them to be consistent. I go at least twice a month. The pressure is always on point and the environment is always tidy and clean. I am happy that we have a great competitor on this side of town and I don't have to drive to Grand Grand Prairie or Arlington. Looking forward to them ever evolving. One tip I would suggest...bring your tip money in cash. It is better for them as businesses have to pay so many fees for credit card usage. read more

My experience with Oasis Massage was not great. Halfway during my massage my lips and face starting swelling. I asked the person that was doing my massage was my lips and face swelling and the person handed me a tissue. When it was time to pay. I informed Eric who was taking my payment about my face and my lips and his response was what do you want me to do about it. I'm not sure about the cleaning guidelines they are following or changing the sheets after each person. read more

This was my 2nd visit and this time I requested a regular massage for more of relaxation. I was assigned to a guy who was extremely rough. He slung my arms, hands and was just really rough even when rubbing oils off my skin. It almost felt like scratching rather than rubbing something off. Enough so to rub the skin off a mosquito bite. He adjusted the pressure of his massage per my request but resorted back to very hard pressure. It went from me just trying to relax to just trying to get through it no more upset than I was becoming. He kept breathing in a sigh tone from the time we started like maybe he was over the day I don't know. My first visit was nice / decent enough to give this place another try. The first visit was deep tissue & hot stones so I expected lots of pressure. Even with deep pressure the young lady didn't rough me up. Today was just horrible & I'm disappointed. The lady checking me out asked how it went and I let her know he was extremely rough and I would like to pay and leave. Driving down I-35, I stopped by the McDonald to use the restroom. On my way back to my car, I saw this massage place. Since I was driving whole day, I was a little bit tire and badly need a shower. I went inside and asked whether I could take a shower prior to the massage. The lady was very rude, acting like I just want a free shower. I was shopping at the supermarket next door. I slipped and felt on the floor with pain on my left leg. On my way out, I saw this massage sign and though why not go in to see whether I can get some relieve from the pain. To my disappointment, my pain was getting worst not better. My masseuse did not know what she was doing. She pressed me at all the wrong places and with such force that almost crushed my bone. I left after 20 minutes. What a joke......? read more
