Waited a few moments while some loud commotion with other customers took place outside of the room. A few moment later. I'd imagine they would have said that when I walked in the door and before they took my money. Additionally, I'd imagine the door would not have walk ins welcome across the front. I kindly waited for my refund and was asked to return tomorrow. My answer to that is hell no. Do not come here!

After sharing feedback from a previous visit, management reached out and took my concerns seriously. That alone speaks volumes. They were attentive, respectful, and genuinely interested in ensuring my experience aligned with the level of service they strive to provide. I truly appreciate being heard and valued as a client. I returned today and was met with stellar service from start to finish. The atmosphere was calming, the staff was welcoming, and my therapist was attentive, professional, and focused on providing a relaxing experience. The massage itself was exactly what I needed--so much so that I fell asleep... and if you know, you know! That's how you can tell it was that good. I'm grateful for management's willingness to address an indifferent experience and get things back in sync. This visit restored my confidence in Massage 5, and I'm happy to say they exceeded my expectations. Thank you for the care, the follow-up, and the excellent service. I look forward to many more relaxing visits. 11/28/2025 -- Removed 10/04/2025 Massage 5 in Desoto is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the beautiful décor and calming atmosphere--it's clear a lot of thought went into creating a relaxing environment. The customer service was excellent, warm, and attentive. I really appreciated the little touches, like being offered iced coffee and even receiving a small gift after my service. I booked the 90-minute full body massage with a 30-minute foot reflexology add-on, and both services were amazing. The therapist was skilled, professional, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I left feeling incredibly relaxed and refreshed. This is definitely a place I'll be visiting again. Everything about my experience was wonderful, and I highly recommend Massage 5 if you're looking for quality care and a peaceful retreat right here in Desoto!

(1 Star) As someone dealing with chronic back and knee…read moreissues from my military service, massages are not a luxury--they're part of my routine for managing pain. I am a repeat customer of Massage 5 and have consistently paid for 90-minute massages (typically around $110 plus tip) without issue. I also participated in their punch card program, which indicates that after 10 visits, the next service is "FREE." On 4/4/26, I presented a completed card and specifically confirmed in advance with the older Asian gentleman, at the front desk, that it would cover my 90-minute massage. I was told "yes." After the service was completed, I was informed that the "FREE" visit did not apply as stated. Instead, I was told it only represented a $30 discount, and I was expected to pay the remaining balance. At no point prior to the service was this limitation clearly explained, nor is it indicated on the punch card itself. This resulted in something different being presented after the service than what was confirmed beforehand. I made a good-faith effort to clarify the situation at the time, including using translation to avoid any misunderstanding, but the issue was not resolved. I ultimately paid $70 to conclude the transaction. My concern is not the cost itself, but the lack of clear, consistent communication regarding the terms of what is listed on the card. If "FREE" is intended to mean a partial discount, then that should be explicitly stated and consistently communicated before services are rendered. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this business and will not be returning.
