I declined multiple times, but the pressure continued -- even as I was trying to settle in. It felt like they cared more about my money than trying to make me feel comfortable and better! After sharing that I didn't want my arms or legs touched and only wanted my neck shoulders and back to be worked on she told me there would be a $10 upcharge due to their "policy." I agreed, but what followed didn't reflect any professionalism or care. The technique was disjointed, repetitive, and lacked any sense of body awareness. It jumped from overly soft touch to sudden, jarring pressure with no rhythm or transition. It felt like the therapist was just going through motions without any intention or responsiveness. If you have PTSD, physical trauma, or specific boundaries, I strongly urge you to avoid this place. My body was tense the entire session once she crossed boundaries. I disassociated so quick, and she was so unaware. The therapist ignored nonverbal cues, continued working in areas I told her I didn't want worked on, and at one point used hot stones (which I didn't request) in ways that felt invasive and deeply inappropriate. I was completely dissociated by the end of it -- emotionally overwhelmed and retraumatized. On top of that, the therapist left the room multiple times, reducing actual massage time. When the session ended and I went to pay, I had already signed the receipt -- but she pointed to the tip line and said, "Tip? I worked so hard." Caught off guard, I left a very small tip just to get out of the situation, even though I felt completely disregarded throughout the session. Afterward, I sat in my car crying for nearly an hour, trying to calm down. This wasn't just a disappointing experience -- it was an upsetting one. There is no trauma-informed care, no real respect for client boundaries, and no understanding of how to provide a safe, therapeutic massage. If you're looking for professionalism, safety, and actual healing -- this is not the place to go.

I think they did more of a hybrid of Thai / Swedish for me because I was having a hard time with the pressure because I was sore from working out, but my husband had more of the traditional Thai massage with more walking/pressure work on him. I told my lady that my shoulders were my biggest issue and I really appreciated that she took the time to actually be very intentional with working on aaallll the shoulder muscles. I've had a few massages lately where all they do is use their forearms on my shoulders and usually hurts more than helps but not this time! I genuinely want to go back so she can keep working on all the knots and tightness. My MIL also loved her massage too. She just kept saying how excellent it was for her (also first time). The massage was ok. I was excited that my person spoke English and asked what I wanted her to focus on. Except she never focused on the areas I specified. She spent 30 min of a 90 minute massage on my calves and the back of my knee which hurt so much. I like the calf but the knee this was weird since there's only tendons there no muscle. That's a first. The other parts she wasn't applying enough pressure so I asked if she can go harder and she did but she was panting, short of breathe and her joints were cracking all over the place I never feared the well-being of a massage therapist before. She walked on my back but I was weird about it because I kept wondering if she washes her feet between clients since she was all up in my traps and near my face. At the end you get stretched out which was awkward because she doesn't try to cover during the stretch so I felt kinda funky during that part.
