She is strong, knowledgeable, kind and professional. I really can't imagine a better experience. My foot massage by Zhang was the best massage I've ever had, way better than some full body massages I've had in high end spas. I am a teacher so I stand a lot. My feet and legs hurt so much at the end of the week. Zhang was able to work her magic and take all the pain away. I believe she also reduced swelling and improved my circulation. What to expect for a foot massage: It's easy to get an appointment. You sit in a comfy lounge chair, wearing your regular, comfy clothes. You are in one big room (like a nail salon) but curtains give you a little privacy from the person next to you. The lights are dim and there is peaceful music playing. Everyone is quiet, communicating in whispers if needed. They drape towels over you and give you a small towel to cover your eyes. The place is clean and service is efficient. I felt totally comfortable and at ease. I am hooked and want to become a regular! Originally...I was told that I could only get massages in the evenings as it seems they were only open late hours. My 1st appt was at 8pm on a Monday and my ex husband did not like that and my dog sitter did not show so I had to reschedule. I had to reschedule a week later because they(the owners) were out on vacay and I got the massage today 5/12 @2:30pm. I was surprised of the time and felt much better with daytime hours. The groupon features Kim Horne. Lots of great reviews on her, however I did not see her and it was never explained to me that I would not be. I was massaged by Carlton Horne. I thought that should have previously been explained to me. I literally did not know I was being massaged by him until he told me he will check back with me after undressing to my comfort level. The area...I live in Rockwall. Right off of 30 and the major shopping areas and altho I gave had a million massages...the surroundings usually fit that type if business. I wasnt very favorable of the locations and my ex husband came to watch my dog in the parking lot and watch out 4 me. The area is not "bad" per se'. Just not what you would expect for a massage parlor location. The establishment was clean and well kept. There was music playing but not relaxation music and not in the room we were in. It was moreso blasting outside. Im used to a more tranquil settin IN the massage room itself. Carlton did a great job. I do think it would have been nice to consider the "pressure" because at some points I was in so much pain...my eyes would water! I do carry allot of stress in my upper shoulders, back and neck. Im used to having a masseuse add pressure to the knots in my back...but they always ask me to confirm pressure.
