Updated Review - June 2026…read more I am updating my previous five-star review from August 2025 because my experience on June 19, 2026 was dramatically different. As a widow and parent of a medically fragile daughter, I chose this company specifically because of the excellent service I received last year. This time, the crew worked for approximately five hours with no complaints. The lead driver performed a walkthrough, used my bathroom, and the team packed and loaded belongings without raising any concerns about the condition of the home. Everything changed when it came time to move our stacked washer and dryer unit (329 lbs). Suddenly, the lead driver claimed the apartment was so filthy it was making him sick and they could no longer continue. This was the first time any issue was mentioned. Two days prior, maintenance workers had been in the same apartment and specifically commented on how clean it was. I was left with furniture, beds, and belongings still in the old apartment while the crew stopped for about an hour before disappearing. I had to scramble to figure out what happened to my possessions. Since arriving at the new place, we have also discovered multiple damaged items (couch, end table, broken patio chair, etc.) that were not damaged prior to the move. This experience was incredibly stressful and disappointing. I have no problem leaving glowing feedback when a company performs well -- I did so previously. Unfortunately, this move fell far short of the professional service I expected and paid for. I would not recommend or use this company again. They left my front door wide open and never turned the gate back on so if I hadn't gone back for cleaning supplies my door would've been left open over night. When I told the only guy who spoke English he said "I wasn't the last one out" no apologies just a lazy answer. They never unpacked properly. I started unpacking the kitchen, so they had an idea of where things went. They didn't try, they just unpacked random stuff and threw it in places. Appliances were disassembled which could have easily been put together. My cake stand was in two thrown on the counter top with a box over the glass in an unsafe manner. They said they were scheduled to come back tomorrow and when I called to complain about how the place left they said the job was done and I should've said something before they left. I told them they should leave instead of waiting for me to return after picking up my daughter they told me had to pay. Which understood I'll pay for the day, but the packing job was not done. Needed to reschedule a few days before and that was no problem. On the day of the move, the movers were on time, polite and helpful. Although it was raining, they accomplished the move quickly and safely and as promised. They were willing to wait if necessary until the rain stopped, but for our few items it was not a problem. Would definitely go with them again.

There was no estimate offered or maximum charge for the move, as (I discovered later) they're required to provide. There was no communication surrounding the moving supplies, their cost, no itemized list of supplies provided, only an arbitrary "supplies - $350" written on the invoice, nor even provided after the fact upon request. One of the company's partners, Scott, was unwilling to provide answers to my billing questions, it was difficult to complete a sentence without him interrupting me & making legal threats. The movers also destroyed my $5k mattress. When brought to Scott's attention, he blamed me for not inquiring about, nor purchasing, additional insurance coverage. The information, he claimed, was provided to me - it was not. There's a line to initial on the contract, to acknowledge receipt (which is blank), & that I was expected to flip through & read everything on the clipboard. I was expected to rummage through someone else's clipboard without any reference of its existence. Regarding the destroyed mattress, they offered me $150 for it. When it became clear that communicating with Scott would be unproductive, I requested to speak with someone else from the company but it remained unacknowledged until Scott suddenly ended the call. I've unfortunately had to consult with legal counsel to determine how to best further pursue it. This matter currently remains unresolved.

I was very unhappy that they banged up my furniture leaving scratches & dings. When I told showed them how terrible was furniture was dinged they just said "Oh it was already there" Although I know it wasn't because the furniture had not been moved since we bought it 4 years ago. We had to buy paint correctors to cover up the damage. and they dropped my fridge door when they removed the doors to relocate it. And now it's looks horrible and the stainless steel looks dinged and beat up now. They also left the fridge alarm going off continuously due to one the damage door that could not close completely. They justified it by saying it happens and it has to be reprogrammed but they didn't even take into consideration that they dropped the door causing damage.
