The only positive part of our experience was the designer, who deserves five stars for her professionalism, creativity, and the excellent 3D design she prepared for us. Unfortunately, the company's management and business practices were a completely different story. The designer came to our home, spent time understanding our needs, and created a beautiful 3D closet design. We were initially very impressed and seriously considered moving forward with the company. However, when it came to pricing, we were offered a 30% manager's discount, which we agreed to consider. Before signing the final agreement, we carefully reviewed the proposal and discovered numerous errors and items that had been removed or cut from our original design. This was extremely disappointing because the proposal did not reflect what we had discussed and expected. The advertised 30% discount meant very little when items were being removed from the project. My biggest concern is transparency and trust. A discount should be a genuine discount, not something that distracts customers from missing items, changes to the design, or errors in the proposal. Thankfully, we reviewed everything carefully before committing further. My advice to anyone considering SpaceManager is to read every single detail of the contract and make sure every item you discussed is clearly included in writing before signing or making any payment. We were also very disappointed with the manager's attitude. Instead of handling our concerns professionally and respectfully, we found him rude and difficult to communicate with. The way our concerns were handled completely damaged our confidence in the company. We ultimately decided not to move forward because we no longer felt comfortable trusting the company with our project. It is such a shame because the designer was excellent, but a good designer cannot make up for poor management, a lack of transparency, and an unpleasant customer experience. My recommendation: Be extremely careful, double-check your proposal, confirm every detail, and do not let a big discount pressure you into signing. For us, trust is everything, and unfortunately, SpaceManager failed to earn ours. The designer gets 5 stars from me. The management and overall company experience get 0 stars. I would not recommend this company based on our experience.

My husband and I failed to read the fine print on the move out checklist, which read "the home must be professionally cleaned". At this point our belongings were moved out. We just needed to clean. Our official move date was 2 Days away so we still had time. Around 3AM, I jumped on Yelp to search housekeeping services. Upon my search a questionnaire popped up. I input the necessary information (service date, square footage)etc. Like magic a mass message was sent to available businesses. I received a response from The owner 2hrs later. What luck!! Two of her staff members were available to stop by at 7pm the same day! I shared the smart lock code, the team arrived promptly- I know this because we get notifications. The flat fee worked within our budget. I submitted my payment after the job was complete via Zelle. My husband stopped by the next day, he forgot his car vacuum. The team was kind enough to leave it on the countertop in the kitchen. He walked through the house to review their work, everything was spotless. The upstairs carpet had those cleaning streaks - so you know they put in some hard work. The rest of the house was well done, all I can say is that I am grateful for this business responding to my request so last minute. With Thanksgiving being just days away I was lucky they responded to my service request so last minute.

Maureen came to the house, developed a plan of attack, and then we began working together once a week on a different area. Because we've been in this house for a long time, items were mixed among different rooms. So, we set aside an unused bedroom for staging and sorting as we worked our way through. To avoid the "you threw out my stuff" syndrome, We texted grown kids with pictures of some of their things to find out whether or not they had any interest in keeping them. We even set aside a separate pile so my husband could salvage treasures before we hauled everything away. We worked together, sorting and packing keepsakes while we also made other useful items more readily accessible. This project brought me a sense of peace and control, something that was sorely lacking before.

Theresa arrived about 45 min earlier than when she was supposed to--which really inconvenienced me and was very unprofessional I felt as I was busy getting ready for the day at that time. But later I realized this was part of their scam. They keep adding more and more hours to your bill (at $72 per hour--which really adds up in the end) and Theresa moved at literally a snails pace, so ultimately they can keep billing you!! This woman was SOOOO slow!! She literally took 10 hours (I was working the whole time and honestly thought she had left long ago. I was shocked and horrified to find out she was still in my apartment!! I calculated and that would cost me $720.00!! On top of that, she only organized my bedroom closet and the kitchen--which I had not asked her to organize as I had already organized the kitchen. I had instructed her to do the master bath and laundry room which she didn't do AT ALL--but said she'd be back the following day to my horror!! This woman should enter a different line of work as she does not follow instructions and basically is a scam artist. She stayed 10 entire hours and barely accomplished anything!! I moved to Houston from Manhattan and have hired professional organizers there. This is not my first rodeo. However true professional organizers never need more than 2 hours (max 3 hrs)--and that's to organize your ENTIRE HOME!! I am warning everyone--DON'T FALL FOR THIS SCAM!! These people are out to get your money--PERIOD!! And if you hire them, you will ultimately be billed THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS in the end (unless you fire them first as I did) as this is their business model. And this is fraud, plain and simple. I intend to report Sunflower Strategies Organizing to the BBB and the Attorney General of TX (whom I happen to know personally).
