I don't ever write bad reviews.. or any reviews for that matter Unless it's super good and worth it…read moreor just super super bad. Like so bad you don't even believe there is places and/or people like that. But I'm literally writing this in hopes I can save everyone else from the disrespect and embarrassment I walked in & immediately greeted the lady behind the counter. It was an olderish white lady maybe in her late 50s with glasses kinda short blonde hair. Anyways She asked me what I wanted to drink I said I would like to start off with a water.. keep in mind it's like 1000 degrees outside & I had actually gotten there by bus lol. Anyways she told me they don't have any water & no water to sell.. I said not even tap? I'm over here bout to pass out. she said no we don't have any water. She was dead serious too I thought she was messing around so I kinda stood there lookin stupid everyone was staring at me. so from being nervous I was like ok let me go to the bathroom & reroute my destination lol. When I tell you she yelled at me across the bar like you can't use the bathroom bc you didn't buy anything & it's not a public restroom! when I tell y'all I just wanted to hide atp lol & all i wanted to do was get some water so I could turn up if you know me you know I'm a big Vibe!

Mainly beer and some mixed drinks, but it was $2 beer when I went. We went on a Thursday and let me give you a heads up now that Thursdays are "Thong Thursdays." The bartender did not have any pants on and was wearing a thong. The places was crowded. There are decently clean bathrooms. There is also a pool table which costs either $0.50 or $1.00. They have touch tunes, but it wasn't operating that night. There are also TVs around the bar for sports games. Will probably come back!

I only found this place because it's technically a "brewery" and I was searching for breweries near downtown with the Yelp app. HO BOY. It's so much more than that! This is like hanging out in the living room of the talented, counter-culture friend you always wanted to have but weren't cool enough to land. There always seems to be something going on: emo night, freestyling, karaoke, etc. The beers and drinks are STRONG and the music is LOUD. (like, seriously loud...literally louder than a Taylor Swift stadium, according to my watch) I ended up coming back here almost every night I stayed in Columbus and if I'm ever in the area again, this will be the first place I go!

Unfortunately, bartender Gage (short guy with bluish hair) managed to ruin the experience over a completely unnecessary personal reaction. I ran into him off the clock at a skate park and made a casual comment about the $6.66 price of his 8 oz drink. He took it personally, became defensive, and apparently decided that was enough reason to ban me from the shop. It's disappointing when a bartender's personal ego outweighs customer loyalty. Half Baked has lost my business and my recommendation. I'll gladly spend my money somewhere that actually values its regular customers.

Nice beer selection with regular, craft and non-beer options. The menu was simple, which I like. The table ordered some rosemary potato wedges and atomic fireballs for apps. Very good. The later it got, the busier the place became, so I recommend you go early. Cheers!
