I have also had multiple quotes from m&s and then went downtown Chesterton to duneland collision and have had them quote way cheaper almost every time. example: I had a 2014 ram that got into bad front end accident. needed new bumber and and some other cosmetic stuff along the front. i told them I didn't want a OEM bumper as it would be too much. I just wanted a aftermarket bumper with primer only to keep costs low. when they called me back they quoted me for a OEM 2014 ram 1500 express bumber with candy red paint. So not only did they not even listen to my request but the price they gave me for the actual OEM bumber so was so far off what it actually costs that it just felt like a smack in the face. Even better my wife brought he car in not more than a day ago and they wouldn't even bring her car in because the same lady said she hadn't heard of the insurance company before and was unwilling to service us. Funny because it's ran through the police municipality because she was hit by a cop. Maybe if that lady wasn't so rude and asked a couple questions, she would of understood that maybe it wasn't something she was used to seeing all time.

Of the four people I had contact with at the shop , every one was friendly , courteous and helpful . So far they have went above and beyond . So I didn't have time to rate it step by step after all . But now that everything has been finished I will rate the whole process . We ran in to a few bumps in the road . Overall , there were things that went wrong that WERE in the companies control and one thing that was NOT within their control . My biggest gripe is I feel as though there was no final inspection from the technician and the management before the vehicle was returned to me on. Because if there had been, the problems would have been caught and it would have saved me frustration and time and them embarrassment and money. Went here to have an attachment painted and put on my number. Amazing job. No problems there…read more I also had him put a new fender on. This was a terrible job, I dont think it was due to capabilities but just pure laziness. I provided the light and the screws for him to install. He initially didn't install the light because he didn't see it anywhere. I live a quarter mile away and no call was placed, otherwise he'd have found out it was in the bag on the FRONT SEAT. I had to get another appointment to have him do that. In addition to just not installing my light. Since he couldn't find the screws I guess he felt it was okay to use some sort of bonding agent to glue the fender down. Not only did he glue it down but the glue can be seen oozing from under the fender. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place or come here again.

I went to start my car and discovered the battery was dead. AAA replaced the battery, and discovered the engine would crank but would not turn over. I needed to find a repair shop or make arrangements to ship it home. I began a Google search and quickly began calling "classic auto repair shops", asking for help. The replies ranged from "We can't take you for 2 weeks" to "We don't work on cars that old". I finally dialed Old School Classics in Monee IL. Bruce listened patiently to my predicament and said he would help. I had the car towed from downtown Chicago to his shop in Monee. Bruce greeted me and began working on it right away, with help from Mike and Ray. By the end of the day Bruce had isolated the problem to the EFI control module, one of the many modifications I had made to improve performance. Bruce continued working on my car first thing next morning. He reached technical support at Holley, who helped him verify that that the ECM module was fine. They directed Bruce to a hidden relay that tested bad. After replacing the relay, the engine fired up perfectly. I was very grateful to pay this bill, be on my way and avoid a $4,000 charge to ship the car back home. My car ran perfectly for the 2,000 mi trip back to Los Angeles. Bruce, Mike, and Ray are honest "Old School" people. You can trust their expertise. They deliver excellent service quickly and efficiently.
