To start, we ordered the Flori de Fiori di Zucca ($26), Schiacciata Bianca ($11), Polpette di Brasato ($26), and Burrata e Crudo ($34). I forgot that the Flori had ricotta inside so that was a surprise when I bit into it. Our waiter cuts the burrata and pours the oil on top. The burrata was delicious and great to share. The focaccia was very light and delicious as well. No need for butter on the bread. The Polpette was good but nothing amazing. I would say that I would skip the Polpette and Flori next time. For the pastas, we ordered the Linguine al Limone ($29), Trofie al Pesto ($42), and the Strozzapreti alla Vaccinara ($34). All the pastas were delicious! We loved them all. I would say that they are on the smaller side and I was still hungry after eating our apps and pastas. Fortunately we also had a couple steaks coming which filled me up. For the steaks we ordered the King River Ribeye (wagyu) ($220) and the Costata Alla Fiorentina ($240). The Australian Wagyu was my favorite. It melts in your mouth and was amazing. It made the other ribeye just taste not as good. The other ribeye was delicious, but didn't compare to the wagyu. Even though we were full, we still ordered a couple of dessert. We ordered the Dolce al Pistacchio ($21) and the Tiramisu Classico ($19). Both were delicious and very beautiful. The Tiramisu caught all of our eyes as the top showed the firehorse as it is the year of the firehorse. It was fun as the top you get to crack open for the tiramisu. We enjoyed our dinner very much and everything was delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant as it is great for a lovely dinner with great food.

They recommend the foccacia. Definitely a good call because it was really good. Super soft too. Ordered the rib eye steak which was cooked perfecty. Only complaint was that it was too salty. I grabbed the 2 meat, 3 side special which included: stewed chicken, jerk chicken, rice and peas, cabbage and plantains. There's a solid amount of food and I'm going to be eating on this over the next two days. There's rice and peas were incredibly flavorful, moist and had a hint of spice. The stewed chicken's skin was falling off! That's how tender it was and I love anything with bell peppers and onions. The cabbage was solid with great crunch. Sometimes it can get too mushy, but this didn't. The plantains were just right!! Great palate cleanser as I transitioned to the jerk chicken! And the jerk chicken was a hit!!! Good amount of spice and flavor! And juicy! I also had extra jerk sauce on the side. Hmmmm I honestly enjoyed both chickens and would say if you're unsure of which to get, just get both... you'll definitely order from here again lol I ordered through uber eats and naturally was PRAYING that my order was correct and it was. A nice hefty serving and of course I also have a slice of the caramel cake. Mannn this slice of cake is so dang delicious. The two miles that I run tomorrow for this will be so worth it! This hit the spot and was the meal I needed after the day that I've had!

I had never been to the brick-and-mortar location until now. I stopped in one Sunday afternoon to a restaurant that was not busy on the inside. I noticed there was a steady stream of individuals coming in for carryout. Nevertheless, I had a sit-down so that I could try a few items. I ordered the Belizean appetizer sampler. This came as panades, garnaches, and conch fritters. I liked the panades, which were corn patties stuffed with buffalo fish. They were nice and flavorful. The garnaches reminded me of Venezuelan tostadas. I think that what was a miss for this dish was the drizzle of ketchup. Since I stopped using condiments from grocery stores, the flavor of such tends to ruin dishes for me. I liked the conch fritters. I would order those by the bagful just to have for snacks. My main dish was the stew chicken with rice and beans and a side of plantains. Surprisingly, this was more like baked chicken. There was no hint of cumin, cloves, or garlic. There were no tomatoes. There wasn't a sauce or a gravy. There was flavor, of which I give them that, but the same stew that I've had in Belize and in my Belizean friends' home was not served here. It very well may be that the dish prepared here simply differs from that which I have had before. It wasn't a bad thing. Not everyone prepares every dish the same way.

Several golf trips to the U.K. (Britain, Scotland, Wales) I got my fair share of excellent Fish & Chips; the best being in Ullapool, Scotland at The Seafood Shack I have never had better! But, leave it to Chicago to deliver some of the best fish and chips I've ever had in the USA, here at The Dearborn restaurant in the Chicago loop. Everything about The Dearborn's signature dish just worked in every way: The fish was fried perfectly The fish itself was moist and delicious The chips (fries) were excellent The coleslaw was the perfect side dish The tartar sauce was scrumptious My Krobacher Pilsner paired perfectly with my dinner The service was spot on And sitting at the bar watching the NBA playoffs didn't hurt either. I did have a scoop of delicious salted caramel gelato that finished this meal perfectly. Having such delicious fish & chips a few blocks away from where I live is certainly better than flying "over the pond" (a British term for the Atlantic Ocean).

Regardless of the time of day and especially during peak hours, I would definitely recommend making a reservation to air on the safe side. The staff prepared our table super quickly and was very attentive- they really went above and beyond throughout the meal. I do not recommend skipping the drinks! I ordered the seasonal Si Se Puede, Tia mezcal cocktail, which was quite spicy and perfectly sweet. For appetizers, we shared the parkerhouse rolls. The rolls were soft and buttery with a delicious whipped butter spread. For the main dish, I ordered the Dearborn Burger. It was solid overall and the portion size was very generous. I tried the fish and chips as well which were excellent. Would definitely order this next time! For dessert, we tried the sticky toffee date cake. I liked that it was not too heavy, and the Heath bar crumbles added a nice crunch. My only wishlist would be to have more of that delicious sauce to scoop up! We left with ample leftovers and in high spirits. Definitely looking forward to visiting again and trying more of the menu!

Atelier delivered a solid experience, but one that ultimately felt a bit restrained. The service was attentive and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu with confidence, while the wine pairing stood out as a strong addition, enhancing several of the courses nicely. When it came to the food, each dish was good and thoughtfully prepared, but many courses felt too simple in execution. The flavors were clean and pleasant, yet they often lacked the depth, layering, and progression you hope to experience throughout a tasting menu. With each new course, I kept anticipating a buildup--something bolder, more intricate, or more surprising--but that moment never quite arrived. The menu did offer an enjoyable journey through different regions, which added variety and interest. Still, while the dishes were well-balanced and enjoyable, they didn't reach the level of complexity or memorability expected at this level.

While there was some wide variety of texture and display of food, I wish the flavor of each dish would be a little bit more powerful than what they are.
