As it turned out, the Buyers also had to vacate their current home in 30 days... so my 90-day suggestion was a Deal Breaker! We moved into our house 4 years ago and during the move, our garage became a catchall and every time we tried to organize and tackle it, it was just too overwhelming to know where to start or feel like we could even make a dent. I reached out to Yael and immediately she gave me the confidence that she was going to do exactly what I needed. It turned out better than I imagined and i went from being embarrassed to have my garage opened in front of my neighbors, to ready to show it off! I wish I had more projects for Yael to tackle, and once I do, she will be my first phone call!

I had spent days trying to thoughtfully organize everything myself, but I wasn't making meaningful progress. After long work days, I just wanted to come home to a tidy space where I could eat and unwind. Yael responded quickly and offered a free consultation to take measurements before our appointment. I really appreciated that she did this separately so we could plan ahead and make the most of our actual session for my needs (clothes, laundry, bathroom, and office supplies). I especially loved what she did with my closet. After learning about my day-to-day needs, she helped organize my three available closet sections into (1) work uniforms, (2) professional/meeting clothes, and (3) everyday non-work clothes. We went through my many bags of clothing and prioritized what I would realistically need (and easily pull out) over the next six months, while storing formal, out-of-season, and less frequently worn pieces. She also had great practical ideas for making better use of the space with bins, shelves, and racks. Yael has a natural ability to visualize and work with 3D spaces that I definitely do not have! I also love my clothes and have historically had a hard time letting things go, but I actually ended up setting aside about 10 pieces I hadn't worn in years to donate, to my surprise. Yael offered to help me drop them off at a donation center for veterans and women and children in need. By the time we finished, my home felt so much more open that I joked I could hear an echo (but I actually could!). More importantly, I could finally come home after work and enjoy my space instead of feeling like I still had another project waiting for me. Yael is practical, kind, smart, and very good at what she does. I honestly didn't even know "professional organizers" existed until I went down a rabbit hole trying to figure out how to organize everything myself. As someone who works long hours and has moved often, I really wish I had met Yael or known about this kind of help sooner. I'm very grateful for the good work she did in my home.

I'm not saying I am good at it, but this store and what it sells helps me greatly to be my best at it. While I typically buy small organizational items to fit inside drawers and cabinets, etc, we very recently purchased an ELFA custom desk and shelving unit that is installed onto a wall. We paid extra money to have the Container Store set up installation through a 3rd party vendor. Soooooo glad we didn't try to do it ourselves... not something either my husband or myself could've done without problems ensuing. As it was, we ran into what I deem as an "unusual" problem during the installation, which is the reason for not awarding all 5 stars. To give a slight background, the depth on all shelves is 16 inches. The desk depth is 20 inches. Enough 16" metal brackets were ordered for all the shelves, but ironically, no 20" metal brackets were ordered for the desktops. Yet, that's not even what makes this "unusual." It gets weird that when I spoke to a Container Store rep about this, she informed me that the 20" brackets do NOT come in the graphite color we got to blend with the walnut desk and shelves AT ALL.... the 20" brackets ONLY come in SILVER. They're not out of them; they simply don't make them in all colors that ELFA offers. Here I have dark walnut desk and shelves and dark graphite hardware, and then, smack in the middle of all this darkness, I have to get SILVER, or I get no desk. I NEED the 20 inch brackets. Period. But why tell me why does the Container Store (or is it ELFA?), in all their glory and brilliance and endless items available known to mankind, NOT make 20 inch metal brackets in graphite to match and go along with allllll the other products it has to construct this very custom unit that THEY designed and offered? I didn't dream it up. They did. I just said I want it. Nobody seemed to know the answer, and they still don't. Somebody, somewhere, in all their design glory, SCREWED UP..... and frankly, should fix it for future reference and need. As for our situation, we will stick with the silver brackets. I have my desk, and I really do love it. I don't sit there and stare at these brackets, but I know they're off in color. Thank goodness, their version of silver is not as bright and shiny as I would've imagined, but that's no excuse for NOT offering the 20" graphite color bracket. I've taken pictures for you all to see. Bottom line is this... pricey as they are, I STILL heartily recommend the Container Store for all your organizational needs, and by the way, when ELFA has a 35% off sale, THAT is the time to make the purchase... like we did. Saved us a bundle and made this opportunity a reality !

She was always available to answer questions, texted me throughout the process, and kept me updated every step of the way. Eddie was our installer, and he and Laura made such a great team. Desiree's ability to think outside the box, map out her vision, make it personal for me so that I could "feel" it, talk me into the right decisions (and talk me out of my bad ideas ;) -- was incredible! Not only that: she was super adaptable and flexible, making herself available after-hours to accommodate my schedule. She is clearly accustomed to dealing with high-end clients who are fussy, attentive to the details, and involved in every step of the process. She not only understood my needs and wishes; she also embraced the complexities and nuances associated with my belongings and my environment. She cared, she got me from the get-go, and she exuded full confidence that she would deliver for me beyond my own high expectations. And that, she did!  From the very first time I met Desiree when she came to my home for the design consultation through to the very last detail of the installation:  I was impressed by the high level of expertise and service I received -- as well as the quality of the actual goods. I'd like to also pay special acknowledgement to the installer, Franco, and his brother -- both of whom were incredibly professional, hard-working, precise, artistic, respectful, reliable, and personable.
