Blvd. in the midst of the Auto Mall to have an identifiable storefront. Some months ago, Dear Hubby and I stopped in there, which is when we learned of the nearby warehouse location. I enjoy both Westlake Village locations, with the store having more of a boutique feeling, and the warehouse having lots of merchandise from which to pick. The prices are generally terrific! They do feature seasonal merchandise to inspire and fill in accessories to boost your home or business décor. They also keep a large stock of Christmas items, should you ever need them at any time during the year. I tend to end up with a goofy smile on my face checking out the different items that bring color, whimsy, and cheer. Right now they are Bunny-Central with lots of charming Easter bunnies in various forms. The location can be tricky to reach if you're not comfortable with traffic circles. Shoulder on and you'll find seasonal inspiration, plus floral options for days. It's just an adventure to wander in the many rooms inside. Lots of free parking, too.

Something for everyone. They've helped more special order items from their catalogs, too. Local and family owned, what more can you ask for? I'll definitely come back to jazz up my decor for the next holiday.

This event was presented by Feather Your Nest (Newbury Park) and BarnHouse Vintage Market. In the…read moresummer of 2023, they held three of them at The Oaks in Thousand Oaks (east parking lot, where the Thursday Farmers Market is held). Not sure if they'll do multiple sales in 2024, or just the one. The June 8, 2024 version featured 65 vendors. Many were local to Ventura County and western L.A. County. Others came from further afield, bringing their antique and vintage treasures. I found a couple of things that will add some pops of color and interest to our home, including a "Big Red Cherry" metal pitcher, and a cherry-print accent pillow. It was a fun way to spend a couple of hours, browsing past all of the booths. I enjoy how many of the vendors bring in fresh flowers and plants to layer in color and natural touches to the whole endeavor. Many Americana accents were on hand ahead of 4th of July and other summer events. A lot of the vendors Dear Hubby and I know from other shows, yet it's always an adventure to discover new dealers from out of town sharing their finds. Each dealer handles their own transactions; there isn't a central payment station. Some of them only take cash, a few accept checks. Some are set up with Venmo. Having cash is often the safest bet. Generally, prices were fair. I didn't attempt to bargain for a lower price on the items I bought, as I felt a good value was offered. https://www.facebook.com/events/oaks-mall-thousand-oaks/summer-vintage-market/1110909930329406/ This is their Facebook page. You can check there for other upcoming shows. With free admission, free parking, and lots of interesting items from furniture to clothing, jewelry, accessories / home décor, there's a lot to enjoy.

Struggling with how to write this review. I was looking forward to checking out this shop, but…read moreleft feeling disappointed. They are low on stock, and I heard the owner mention to other shoppers that they've had a hard time getting merchandise in from suppliers. Apparently, due to COVID-19, they are back ordered on many items. What they did have was very appealingly displayed, so kudos for that. Many items, like wall art, are larger, so you'd need a sufficient space to devote to them. As befitting bigger pieces, expect prices to go with the size. What didn't go well for me was a lack of greeting or acknowledgement. Both my husband and I felt invisible in the shop. There were other guests browsing, but it felt like only one family was worthy of attention. It was a vibe, actually. I didn't feel welcome, like I had stepped into a party uninvited. I realize that small businesses have been to hell and back over the past year, which is why I hate to write this critique of the experience. It's meant to offer insight into what would make me hesitate to return. I do wish them well, and hope our visit falling flat was just bad luck of the moment.

We often wandered in the Thousand Oaks location at the mall and we recently ordered our couch, some coordinating pillows and chairs from this location. Our sales coordinator was Cameran who has excellent communication skills. He helped at every step of the way. We needed a lot of help as we rarely replace furniture and we also have three dogs- so it needed to be durable. He helped us coordinate our delivery, too. Our designer was Sarah - who is very talented. Cameran recommended her to help with materials and colors to go with our existing furniture and flooring. We ordered lamps for our daughter and son in law, too. Everything fits it like it was always there. We are very appreciative and highly recommend.

**Buyer Beware: When a Discount Isn't What It Seems**…read more After four years and over $20,000 spent furnishing our home through Arhaus at the Oaks Mall, we thought we knew what to expect. We trusted their quality, their service, and their pricing--until a recent purchase shattered that confidence. We spotted a beautiful floor sample bookcase marked at $4,800. It was offered at 80% off, which seemed like a steal. We paid $960 and arranged to pick it up ourselves. But when we arrived at the store, we noticed something odd: a second price tag on the bookcase itself listed the original price as $3,360. Confused, we asked the manager for clarification. Her explanation? They had *raised* the price of the floor model by $1,440--42.9%--to $4,800 *before* applying the discount. In other words, they inflated the price to make the discount look better. That meant our "deal" wasn't really a deal at all. Had they honored the actual price of $3,360, our 80% discount would have brought the total to $672--not $960. We weren't just disappointed. We felt misled. This wasn't about the $288 difference. It was about trust. About transparency. About a store manipulating pricing to create the illusion of value. And for loyal customers like us, it was a wake-up call. We've since decided to take our business elsewhere--to retailers like Crate & Barrel or Restoration Hardware, where pricing feels more honest and straightforward. So here's our message to fellow shoppers: **buyer beware.** If something feels off, ask questions. Check the tags. And don't assume loyalty guarantees fairness
