We are in the midst of moving all the way across the country in a very short time frame, and it's been overwhelming, to say the least. I was particularly freaking out over how I was going to manage doing my craft rooms. I'm a rubber stamper/scrapbooker and have acquired a VAST horde of supplies over the years. Panic was starting to overwhelm me. We mentioned my dilemma to our realtor, and he said he knew of a lady who had a business for people in situations like me - Judy's Hands. My husband contacted them, we texted and emailed back and forth a bit, and Judy and Wendy came to the house to give us a bid and time frame to get the job done. Judi and her crew managed to empty my 2000 square-foot house and garage, which had been stack with the treasures and junk of my late husband, who was a hoarder. It was a Herculean project, filling two 30 yard dumpsters! A related service handled the estate sale. Many items had to be donated. When they completed the project, the house was 100% clear. Although I've always been an organized person, having been employed as an efficiency-expert for much of my career, I found myself suddenly "stuck" after the unexpected death of my husband. Fast forward two-years later, and I felt as though I was still running in circles around my 3000 square foot home; unable to finish even the simplest of projects. My closet was broken and in complete disarray. My attic and garage were bursting at the seams with who-knows-what, and my office was stacked so high with clutter and boxes that I could not even open the door. Worst of all, my mind felt as muddled and confined as my home. This was my state-of-being when I finally found Judy and Wendy. Their glowing reviews on Yelp! inspired me to reach out. Once I met these wonderful ladies in person, I knew I did not want to work with anyone else. Their calm and confident demeanors put me at ease, immediately. Both are warm and friendly and easy to talk to, without allowing my constant jabbering to distract either one of them from the task at hand. Best of all, the job of organizing my home did not appear to daunt them at all. We agreed on a fair price and began working together the next week. Best of all though, Judy and Wendy gave me my life back. With each room we attacked, I felt my spirts begin to lift and a sense of control over my life regained. Even my friends have noticed, commenting on how good I seem these days. And they are right. I feel better now than I have in two-plus years, and much of it is owed to Judy and Wendy. Judy and Wendy helped us organize and move 40 years of stuff from a 3,500 square foot home to a 2,300 square foot home. Judy and Wendy were AMAZING! My garage is SOOOO organized that it makes me want to sleep on the garage floor. Judy is a lifesaver, or better yet, a marriage saver! Our family moved into a new house in Ventura and my wife needed help unpacking dozens of moving boxes.
