I cannot say enough about this store!! They have a very good selection of western wear; boots, hats, shirts, jeans, belts. He's got it all. And the pricing - is INCREDIBLY reasonable. Super fair pricing, for quality clothing, boots, hats. The owner/manager is very friendly, we ended up talking and laughing for quite some time. Great customer service, like next-level friendly and helpful. The pricing is VERY fair and reasonable. So much so, that later this week, I'm going back to buy a hat and some more clothing. I even finally scored another proper gabán (aka "poncho") for hunting season. This store is the real deal & the guys who work there make it even better. Hit these guys up for great prices on quality gear.

My husband was looking for new work safety boots, in particular Brunt Boots. We had ordered a pair…read moreof Brunts online that didn't fit. We found that there were two local retailers who sold Brunt Boots. We went to the first retailer and they had Brunt Boots but didn't have the style my husband was looking for. He was over trying on a bunch of boots and was ready to give up. I told him there was one more retailer close by that we could check. Right when we walked into Purpose Built I lived the layout and vibe. My husband a blue collar engineer, so when I started to see all the shirts with logos and imagery tailored towards labors I immediately feel in love. There's even a small area for young kids to play while parents are shopping. He found his boots and the young lady who assisted him was very helpful giving feedback on the boots. He ended up getting a totally different pair than he set out to get. We grabbed a couple of shirts and fun sticker decals, he grabbed an one extra for his Chief. Overall, the Americana feel and the support for laborers, blue collar union workers was awesome. We will definitely be going back. And best of all, my husband loves his Boots!!

No women's workwear…read more As a woman who works in the union trades I was really disappointed for how much hype this store has... The men's department was exactly what you'd expect from a workwear store. Ariat, Thorogood, Carhartt, rain gear, hard hats, and plenty of actual jobsite clothing. Then I walked over to the women's section. Instead of comparable workwear, it was mostly lifestyle apparel cropped shirts, fashion pieces, and stuff that gave the "blue collar look" rather than women who actually spend 8-12 hours working on a construction sites. Women electricians, plumbers, ironworkers, welders, mechanics, and laborers need durable, functional work clothes just as much as men do. Brands like Ariat came great FR women's gear, you have brands like Dovetail which I've seen other stores carry. If you're going to market yourselves as a workwear store, I'd love to see the women's department stocked with the same seriousness and variety as the men's, not just stuff women wear to look cool. I really wanted to support this business, but I left feeling like the women's side was an afterthought.

I didn't see any "tall" options that you would online shopping, but there were plenty of sizes in stock. It would be great to have the same shopping experience online, where these sizes are an option. Great discounts for quality clothing. Thank you!

I first noticed this Columbia Sportswear Store a couple of years ago. I was pretty stoked as it was…read morein my area and being an avid outdoors person, I've often owned/used Columbia gear. But then I go to find out that it is not a store open to the public. *Unstoked*. But rather this is a Company Employee Store. Meaning a company or place of employment has to sign up with them (not really sure what that entails), then with a code/invite, the employees of said company can now enter the store and shop to one's content. I go to find out that my work gets involved in this annually, so I finally get a chance to scope it out. You have to bring the invite (a flyer for us with a code) and some proof of employment (a work badge for me). It is kind of a run-around but there is a benefit to all this. There are 3 glaring benefits from my perspective. 1. Being invite only and not open to the general public, the place is not crowded and cluttered. Very clean racks and displays. 2. Lots of legit inventory, so not a mish-mash of odd sizes and discontinued styles like factory stores. Felt like a kid in a candy store. Quite organized too, easy to find designated sections. 3. There are perceived deals/values here. Now I will point out that the brands sold here ie Columbia, Prana, Sorel etc are premium brand names and are usually not cheap. I actually find a full priced item to be borderline insane/expensive. Any Columbia gear I own are either gifts or things I got on some sort of sale/discount. Here at this store everything inside is 40% off (taken at the register). And even some items with certain highlighted tags, may be discounted even further to say 50-60%. A much better deal considering the quality. And after I went through their register to complete my sale, I was given another pass (good for 3 other guest too) to shop within the next 30 days. And there was a coupon attached where $20 can be taken off if spending reaches $100 (pretty darn easy to do). So another 20% off. They know how to market cuz ya know I want to come back for that. All things I restrained myself from getting on this last trip...will just wait til the next out. Bet!

From the moment I walked into Curtis Blue Line, I knew I was in the right place for high-quality gear, but I didn't expect the five-star customer service experience that came with it. Erin was not just helpful; she was an absolute force of competence, kindness, and comic relief in an otherwise intimidating sea of tactical equipment. She greeted me with a smile, asked the right questions (not just "Can I help you?" but actually helpful ones), and guided me through the entire process with zero pressure and 100% professionalism. She knew the product lines inside and out, offered real-world advice, and somehow made even the most awkward parts of uniform sizing feel totally normal! Erin has that rare blend of knowledge, patience, and personality that turns a routine gear fitting into something you actually look forward to. I left fully outfitted, totally confident, and low-key wondering if I could nominate her for some kind of public service award. If you're a recruit, officer, or anyone in between, do yourself a favor: go to Curtis Blue Line, and ask for Erin. She's the GOAT.
