We visited on a Saturday around noon and were able to be seated right away. Appreciated the private parking lot in the back and there's plenty of street parking as well! They gave us a peach hibiscus tea sample which was very good. We enjoyed the cheese Rangoon which came with a very nice peach sauce. Portions were also larger than expected! The ambience is casual but intimate with nice floral natural decor. Would recommend this place!

Popped into Zen-Cha Tea Salon in Bexley to warm up as the flurries started. It was our first time here and I thought the space was pretty and the service was nice. It seemed quite busy mid afternoon. One of our group had a very aromatic (but too sweet) cardamom ginger tea. Another had an extremely mild, delicate Kyoto cherry blossom tea. And I had the pinky's up Lady Londonderry in the fancy Sadler teapot. It was the crowd favorite. The tea menu is extensive and we'll come back another time for food, which looked good.

I've been a Zen Cha loyalist for over a decade, regularly visiting their Short North location. But this weekend, I finally tried their Bexley spot--and I was so impressed that it might become my new go-to. Right away, I noticed that the service and atmosphere in Bexley are a step up from the Short North location. The tea selection is just as expansive, and I ordered my longtime favorite: cinnamon mint chai--which, as always, did not disappoint. We were a little bummed to find out that the Bexley location doesn't serve tea scones like the Short North does. But we opted for the cinnamon waffle instead, and honestly? It was out of this world. Topped with flambéed banana, candied walnuts, and whipped cream, it was a perfect substitute for the scones. Overall, Zen Cha remains a must-visit for any tea lover or sweet tooth, and I'll always be a fan. But going forward, I might just switch my loyalty to Bexley--especially since it's in a charming, walkable area with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Highly recommend!

I went to the one in Short North and we got sick on the food afterwards so I was apprehensive to go to this one for a girls chat. I was pleasantly surprised. Though the ambiance was the same, the service was better despite the new person mixing up our tea order. It was quickly resolved and I enjoyed my japanese pancake while my friend enjoyed her curry dish and bought tea for her coworker. I miss true Asian tea houses and David's Tea from my city roots but this will suffice for now.

Cozy, warm and welcoming atmosphere here af ZenCha- we loved every minute of our time and every bite of our food. Not to mention the wide selection of tea from around the world added extra enlightening vibe. Ordered Middle Eastern Cardamon Ginger Tea and Spicy Yaki Udon for myself. Both had plenty of flavor that truly distinguished this restaurant from others around. The noodle had good aroma, perfect blend of spices, portion of veggies and protein. The tea was soothing yet really awakening. Loved everything about the this place. Highly recommend for someone looking to explore a different cuisine setting in Columbus area.

ZenCha Tea Salon has 100 different teas from over 9 countries. ZenCha has categorized their tea in an extremely efficient fashion. For me that was key to minimize confusion and getting overwhelmed with the large list. They also have mixed blends and bubble teas. The ambiance is not to mention beautiful too. I stopped in and ordered from the hostess who was friendly and informative. She recommended the #83 Zen Tranquility which has blends of ginseng, cardamom, cinnamon, lavender, St. John's Wort, and lavender. It was delicious. And I will say that the odds were in my favor given that it was sunny Friday, but by the time a got home I was feeling pretty good. Looking forward to coming back to try ZenCha to dine in for brunch or dinner. Those lavender blueberry pancakes look amazing!

10/10 recommend. I live in atlanta but would come to Columbus just to visit zencha. The food is great and unique. The service is stellar and it's surrounded by other cool shops.

Would highly recommend the brunch menu here. It's Japanese/fusion food, which sounds intriguing and meets expectations. I got the Okonomiyaki, which is a Japanese pancake. You also get a protein choice with this, which I chose shrimp for. The sauce is similar to a spicy mayo type of sauce, and the pancake itself is fluffy. The servings are just right, and the food isn't greasy. Would definitely come back!

Love this place . We've ordered several times . The food is consistent and fresh. I love the salad and their homemade dressing . The pasta dish I had was delicious. The dumplings were good also .

One of my absolute favorite spots in Bexley. Massive tea menu (though I always gravitate toward chai) and my favorite salad in Central Ohio!

First time my wife and daughter stopped before our daughter headed overseas for two years in the Peace Corps. Scotty''s is super close and convenient to the airport. Scotty learned of the imminent departure and came with cookies and treats for the long flight! And now this morning it was another airport drop off. It was my turn, dining alone but nothing about a table for one at Scotty's is lonely. The staff are immediately welcoming and every customer is every employee's charge. Four different people helped me or just checked in. The Gina breakfast combos have lots to offer for breakfast. But I was thrilled this 9:30 am to be assured the whole menu was available. I was looking for something less common and was excited to see potato latkes with sour cream and apple sauce as an option. That would have been great but then the waitress (Salome maybe) said, "Do you like corned beef?" The Schmoozer is 3 enormous latkes with thinly shaved and lightly grilled corn beef on top with an over easy egg atop that. Seriously, I can declare victory for finding something I'd never had before. Never would have found it without the nudge. Had to cut myself off with all the coffee offers. Just a great vibe. You rarely see a 4.9 rating and even more rarely that high based on so many reviews. But I understand why - like in so many things in life, it is about the people. And the joy they bring to every conversation. And I will just add, in this age when some would divide us, this dining room is filled with all manner of folks, reveling together over food in fellowship.

I wish I could say it was worth the wait. We ordered the "award winning" breakfast tacos, the Nutella pancake balls with bacon, and two orange juices. The bill came to nearly $50 and then we were asked for a tip. That last part stung a little, considering the service model is essentially counter-order takeout style. A friendly staff member directed us to grab a menu, decide what we wanted, and then come tell her. We did sit down and have our food brought to us, but it still felt more like a fast-casual setup than one that warrants a tip prompt. The restaurant itself is pleasant, clean, open, and airy with a nice patio out front. No complaints there. The food, however, was underwhelming. The breakfast tacos, supposedly the star of the show, were bland across the board and fell apart almost immediately. Three small tacos for $20 is a tough sell when there's nothing memorable about them. The Nutella pancake balls were decent but forgettable. The real highlight? The bacon, but that's not exactly a high bar. As for the orange juice, it comes pre-made and refrigerated near the register, which felt a little out of place for a spot with this kind of reputation. I genuinely don't understand the hype around the food here. The price point would be justified if the flavors delivered, but they simply don't. The staff were kind and the space is lovely, I just can't recommend making a special trip for the menu.

It's a freestanding building, remodeled from something else. I had assumed it would be tucked into one of the little strips in Bexley, but it's just east of the main retail area. Parking lot and street parking. Super friendly service, and fast; food was up in five minutes. I had figured it would be a better choice than fast food, which was my other option, and it was indeed better, and just as fast. I wasn't super hungry, so I got the purple latkes and the elote, two apps. The latkes were excellent. Crisp but soft inside, tasty. Served with sour cream and applesauce. Good applesauce, not just a little cup of Mott's. Sprinkled with scallions. The elote was good, not great. Corn is out of season, of course. The flavor was decent although the cheese and all the seasoning kind of slid off in my hands. A little messy. Again, to be expected. But I had hoped for a little more favor. They do have assorted hot sauces all around the dining area. I also had a Horchata, small but heavily spiced and flavorful. The main drawback is the price. Two fairly small apps and a drink, for $30. It's good stuff though, but it's not some place I can eat very often. But for breakfast or brunch, or occasional other stops, it is a good choice.

The galaxy-themed decor is such a vibe -- very 70s retro with bright colors, laid-back energy, and a fun but casual feel. My daughter ordered the egg and cheese sandwich, and I love that it comes with avocado. We shared the Big Ol' Pancake, and since the kids couldn't decide on a flavor, our waiter suggested fresh blueberries and chocolate chips on the side so everyone was happy. That kind of flexibility stood out. I ordered the breakfast burger. I was on the fence at first, but the description of the house-made English muffin completely sold me -- and I didn't regret it at all. It came with a side of perfectly roasted potatoes . I also had the cold brew martini sweetened with maple, which was smooth with just the right touch of sweetness. My husband ordered a beer on tap and loved it. He also had the Hermes Loaded Hash and was a fan. We arrived about 20 minutes before closing, and the staff was overly accommodating without making us feel rushed. That says a lot. They also have a private room available to rent for $50, which I'd absolutely consider for a small gathering. This is a casual, easy breakfast spot I'd definitely return to -- especially if I'm in the area or don't mind driving a little out of my way for good food and a relaxed atmosphere.
