I've had Tsaocaa before in Cincy so I was glad to see that they're now in town. I came by in the afternoon and they were BUSY. They had just opened a week ago. Not a lot of customers inside, just a handful. But we waited a while for our drinks. About 15-20 minutes. They also had online orders it seemed. Good business so far! More people kept coming in to order! I'm not sure what I got. Some kind of fruit tea with cheese cream. It was refreshing! Parking isn't too bad. They're next to Jets Pizza and a few other restaurants but during the day, there are lots of spots.

Tsaocaa/Tsaocha just opened in Columbus and they are offering buy one get one 50% off drinks until 2/9 to celebrate! Even more of a reason to try their many drinks. They had so many options ranging from fruit to milk teas and even have egg waffles if you are hungry The electronic kiosk made ordering simple although there is only one so you do have to wait if there are a lot of people. Their decor was very simple yet clean, with white walls and wood accents. I also thought the logo was very cute! I tried the taro milk tea with milk cap. It came with tapioca pearls (which I didn't know so I selected pearls and got double the amount; the amber pearls are their tapioca bubbles) The pearl consistency was a little uneven but were still pretty good- it could also be bc they were so busy today. The taro flavor was strong and it was very creamy which I liked! It also came with sweet rice inside so this was a drink that was filling. I got 30% sweetness and it was still on the sweeter side for my taste. They have a few tables indoors with comfy seats. I'll definitely be back to try more of their drinks!

I'm always happy to see new boba shops pop up in Columbus cause it means I can get my fix and find one that I enjoy. Tsaocaa is the newest edition of chain boba shops out in the northwest/UA unofficial Asian area. Its a small shop but has a few tables and 2 self order machines. Menu has a variety of regular teas, fruit teas, milk teas, and various slushes/milks. They also have hong kong egg waffles. I have so far tried the rose milk tea with boba and the passionate pineapple tea. The rose milk tea is a good balance, not overly floral so doesn't come off as potpourri. The passionfruit drinks seem to have actual passionfruit seeds which I enjoy for the crunch. Both were tasty and reasonably priced (given current state of inflation). I will say, at 50% sugar it was still a tad sweet for me but that's definitely personal preference. Happy that a new boba shop opened up so close to me and I'll def be back, esp as I can walk right on over.

I love TsaoCaa and am so happy to now have one in Columbus! The owner of this location and the staff here are all so friendly and nice. The inside of the cafe is cute and homey. I can see myself studying here as the ambiance itself is quiet and calm. It was my first time trying their egg waffle and it was so good! The drinks were great because they weren't too sweet after adjusting the sugar levels. I think they shine with their fruit teas and drinks (like omg the mango pomelo sago is one of my favorites!), so make sure to try some next time!

I'm excited to have another "bubble tea" added to our list of go-to places in Columbus! Although I wouldn't call this a bubble tea shop, IMO, it has an amazing selection of flavored teas to choose from. Keeping it short and simple, here's our review: Great location. However, turning into from the opposite side of the street can be a little challenging during busier hours. Customer service can use a little working on. Our first time there, when it first opened up, you can tell the two girls working at the time weren't comfortable with the process just yet. It has since improved slightly since we've gone back a few times after. Overall, it still has room to improve. Flavored tea seemed to be the way to go here. As a peach lover, I'm in love with the Peachy Crystal Tea slush and the Peach Mojito with added peach pearls. The wife and kids love the Lychee versions of the two. Seating was a little tight, but there was enough room for a family of 4 to sit, wait and drink. Prices are as expected for a bubble tea shop.

I had the Herbal Jelly & Taro which was pretty good but don't feel the need to repeat any time soon. I just wish they still had the Mango Pomelo Sago Bowl. They have turned it into a sort of smoothie with the sago in a cup, but I want the whole dessert version they used to do with the fresh fruit chunks, sago, ice cream, etc (look at older pictures on here if you don't know what I'm talking about). Atmosphere is great w/ cozy sitting & different kinds of tables. The place isn't huge, so it might not accommodate a big group if they're busy. Bathrooms are nice & spacious and well kept. Service is good. You can order either at the counter or at one of the two electronic kiosks. One big complaint for me is that neither their menu or the kiosk have any details on what is inside foot desserts & some drinks. Even in online ordering it's a guessing game. Overall, this place is a gem & has authentic offerings you might not find at other parts of Columbus.

What was different about this spot was: you can adjust the amount of sugar in your drink! I loved that you can make it less sweet if you wanted to. Most bubble teas are just too sweet for me. The wait was less than 10 minutes and we sat on a bench with Squishmallows and took selfies. The place was cute and clean. It had quite a few people stop in on a Tuesday after 8:30 pm. Our Bubble teas were very good. and I will probably try the waffle desserts, next time.

Kid K saw it and wanted bubble tea after a hot day at the zoo (we had stopped for something at Trader Joe's.) Huge selection of drinks (only complaint: tiny print on menu screen on the wall, though they do also have it printed out and I bet it is on the computer kiosk.) Kid got an Oreo milk tea with bubbles, and loved it. I got a mango slushie and also loved it: refreshing, with mango bits in it. I had planned to pick up supper for later somewhere nearby, but they do have a couple of food items, Taiwanese sausage and popcorn chicken. So, saved a stop. The sausage is a small portion, just a snack; tender, flavorful, a little sweet. I'd get another. The popcorn chicken was a bigger portion, almost a meal's worth, and can be covered with several flavor powders. I got curry. There's also pepper, basil, and a few more. It was good. Tender bits of chicken, crispy, with flavor but not overwhelming. Would definitely get again. I would go a bit out of my way for this, as would Kid K. But at Sawmill and 161, and near Meijer and TJ's among many other places, you probably don't have to. Check it out.

Must have been from the waffles & although that's not something I'd normally consider ordering, one whiff & I was craving them sooo bad! Not to mention that the prospect of exciting versions of them (like Pandan or Ube) made me want to ruin my dinner plans. So after I gained some self control, I ordered what seems like the healthiest & lighest drink up there. It just happened to also have all the flavors of things I adore. The Bambu Special is coconut meat, pandan jelly, brown longan, basil seed (think similar to a chia seed) & coconut water. All this with a crushed ice ball on top. Wow!! So subtle yet flavorful at the same time. I can't wait to make my way down their entire menu . The service: Another wow! The woman behind the counter was so nice & helpful. I mentioned how I like that it's a Vietnamese drink shop & she mentioned that her sister (I think an owner) & herself were both from Cambodia...one of my favorite places I've traveled to. It all made sense as the kindest people in all my travels were in Cambodia. She gave me future recommendations & I promised to return! The atmosphere: Clean, bright, variety of styled of seats, couches, high tops, & greenery walls that have cute neon signs. Wish this place was closer because it definitely had a coffee shop vibe. As a boba addict, I think I might have to pick this place over all the amazing boba options in that area & that's saying a lot! Please go try these goodies for yourself & support our local business owners!

It just didn't taste great when I got to my car and I started drinking it.--The tea flavor tasted really weird. Very, very strong taste to the tea not very much coffee flavor and I have to say the two didn't mix well whatsoever I don't know why I continued to drink it, but I did and I wish I hadn't. It's midnight and my stomach is still making noises and protesting against that tea. I don't know if I got bad milk or a variety of tea that my stomach just doesn't like... But this was not the tea for me. The girls in front of me had gotten mango smoothie type of things and that looked delicious and another one had a strawberry looking thing and that also looks delicious. I think I really chose poorly... Like as poorly as one could choose--I could probably receive a metal saying world's, worst choice. It was that bad. If I had to come back (which I probably will not), I would get something with mango and maybe not a milk tea
