Milk Tea w/ Boba
Albert T.

Hi Bubbles is a boba shop that shares space with a Poke place. This allows them to offer lots of seating and large windows for natural lighting. It's a pretty modern and attractive interior in general. Ordering is easy thanks to a kiosk right at the counter as well as a menu outlining the offerings. As with any new-to-us boba shop, we ordered the normal milk tea. This time a Oolong since it was later in the day rather than the Black tea. Milk Tea, Oolong Tea, Less Ice, 50% Sweet w/ Boba ($5.65) - The oolong tea flavor comes through, with a bit of a flowery taste. There's a bunch of creamer added, which adds creaminess and thickness. The sweetness of the drink at 50% is pretty much on point, not too sweet but sweet enough that you feel it. The boba in the drink isn't great. The exterior is not smooth, but instead has very small crags that can easily be felt on the tongue. The interior has a bit of a chew, but overall is quite hard. (3/5) Bathrooms - Two individual rooms, one for men, one for women. I found the drink here to be pretty average. It's not a bad visit if you're walking around the mall and you want to get a sweet drink nearby. I'm sure there are better choices in Columbus but I was only in town for a day and wasn't able to explore more shops.

Pros: Great location with easy parking Large menu Fast service reasonable prices one of the only places in Cbus that has snow dessert! Cons: Menu can be hard to navigate if you don't know what you want or if it is your first time visiting Language can be a challenge Pro tip: Try the mango snow if you've never had it. The fluffy texture and sweet fruity flavor is wonderful!

Taro Milk tea

Ordered Taro milk tea with Bobas. The tea was really good it had small bites of the taro pulp, which made it creamy. Their menu looks fun. I would love to try their iceberg next time.

Not sure how I found out about them, but it must've popped up on Yelp or Google maps. It's pretty new, so I texted a friend to meet up and try it. It's located in the same space as a poke restaurant. When we walked in, there was no line, but more folks walked in as we sat and chatted. I got strawberry milk tea while my friend chose a mango tea. Loved it! Very enjoyable and they do have a good amount of options on the menu. The prices are pretty standard. $7 ish with boba for a regular. There's also a size large. I'm not in the Polaris area often, but I can see this spot getting busy since the movie theater is right next door. Lots of restaurants around here too. Parking was easy. It shares a parking lot with Sushi En, the poke place, and the movie theater, but it wasn't hard to find a spot. The staff was nice. Friendly and helpful regarding popular drinks on the menu.

Our first time here and was excited to try it and glad there's finally a boba shop up this way! You might miss it if you're not looking for it. There's plenty of parking outside and plenty of seating available inside. This shop is connected to the poke place next door, which is a great boba pairing. We got the Mango Milk with pineapple stars and the Strawberry Fruit Tea with a Jasmine tea base and golden pearls. The drinks were delicious! In both drinks there were blended pieces of real fruit, yay! Both were absolutely delicious and the pearls were made well, chewy and tender, and unique. The pineapple stars were unique and gave the drink a slight pineapple taste, it was good! The owners actually gave us a sample to try the pearls and we ended up getting it for the Strawberry Fruit Tea. The price is a bit more than other places, but the quality was fantastic! We spent about $16 after tip. The owners were so nice and helpful, they took their time to explain questions and waited patiently for us to order. Service is a bit slow because it is just the two of them working, but they're kind and the drinks were amazing quality! I would recommend this place highly, we will definitely be back. If you're looking for quality boba, a chill atmosphere, a casual date, family outing, or have a small group hang out, come and try this place!

I'm so happy there is a kawaii new bubble tea cafe in the Polaris area! Hi Bubbles feels very authentic with English as the second language on the menu. It has an adorable aesthetic and great selection. The proprietors are very friendly and welcoming. English is likely their second language too, so make use of the menu and point as you order so you can be sure it's understood. We LOVED our Jasmine milk tea with boba! Tasted fresh and I love that you can specify less or more sugar and ice to customize your drink to your specific tastes. We will be back and I can't wait to try one of the fun shaved ice desserts!

This place was adorable, and the taro tea was so delicious! I absolutely sucked it down- the boba was perfect. I will be back.

I am super excited there is another bubble tea option around the Polaris area. Hi Bubbles recently open just by the Cinemark Polaris and they are just in the corner inside Poke Bros. Beside bubble tea, they also have the shaved ice dessert. I got the one with red bean and totally love it. Have to stop by next time to try their drinks.

*hi bubbles* is just off Gemini/Polaris (inside Poke Bros). I got the Mango Iceberg ($7), with milk ice, fresh mango, pineapple, mango bubble poppers, red jelly stars, and peanut pocky stix . The little ice-bear is so cute and soooo terribly delicious. Kind of like a hard cherry slurpee. I could eat many of them alone with no problem! Tip: If you're prone to brain freezes, be warned this stuff is super cold But the momentary migraines fade quickly. Prep does take a while, but it's worth it. And the lovely couple who run the place aren't very well-spoken with the Queen's tongue, so patience and pointing at what you want are not going to be optional. Poke Bros is a really nice, airy and bright place to eat too - though I'm personally not a huge fan of poke as a meal, it had a great mod vibe.

Very standard bubble tea place. The tea is nice and fragrant. The boba could be softer and chewier.

large oreo milk tea with pineapple star jelly and double boba and regular sized thai tea smoothie with milk cap and regular boba

We came in on a Sunday around 6 PM. There was one other couple and 2 workers. Very clean environment with napkins and trash readily available. We ordered easily using the kiosk (menu was very clear with pictures!) and waited at a table for 5-10 minutes until our drinks were ready. They were cold, refreshing and delicious. The boba was perfect to my liking (chewy) and the milk cap in my thai tea added that great cheesiness to balance the sweetness of my drink. My comrade enjoyed the oreo milk tea as well. We will definitely be coming back when we are in the area again.

Pineapple Snowice

Very enjoyable. We had a mango milk with boba, tropical fruit tea with pineapple star, and a pineapple snowice with strawberry star. All were delicious! We'll probably share the snowice the next time as it was pretty big - but so refreshing! I definitely recommend!

I rarely give 5 star ratings!…read more The owners Ying & Belle (husband & wife duo) are amazing. They are so friendly & willing to answer any questions. They even made me some samples & that alone got me hooked for the next few things I'm coming back to order. I got the passion fruit & mango green tea drink w/ 30% sweetness and it was perfect! They allowed me to get 1/2 crystal boba & 1/2 lychee jelly since I couldn't decide and didn't need twice as much either. This drink is so refreshing. I also sample the coffee drink w/ the salted crema. I'm not sure why anyone who likes a creamy coffee wouldn't just come and get this instead. The first time I had, the salted Crema on a drink was in Chinatown in Philly and it blew me away and have been looking for one. That's just as good ever since. Lastly, they let me sample what was left from the previous orders drink, and I need to come back and get that ASAP. The ice blended taro combined with the creamy coconut base is seriously like a dessert. I'm obsessed with it and want to get all the different drinks they make with it now. The place is clean & modern with cute decor. I only wished that there was an option for different size drinks & that the nutrition facts online were more accurate/customizable like the drinks are.

I RARELY give 5 star ratings. But everything about this place was just right!…read more The drinks/food: Let's start with the scent of doughy & crispiness in the air from the moment I walked in. Must have been from the waffles & although that's not something I'd normally consider ordering, one whiff & I was craving them sooo bad! Not to mention that the prospect of exciting versions of them (like Pandan or Ube) made me want to ruin my dinner plans. So after I gained some self control, I ordered what seems like the healthiest & lighest drink up there. It just happened to also have all the flavors of things I adore. The Bambu Special is coconut meat, pandan jelly, brown longan, basil seed (think similar to a chia seed) & coconut water. All this with a crushed ice ball on top. Wow!! So subtle yet flavorful at the same time. I can't wait to make my way down their entire menu . The service: Another wow! The woman behind the counter was so nice & helpful. I mentioned how I like that it's a Vietnamese drink shop & she mentioned that her sister (I think an owner) & herself were both from Cambodia...one of my favorite places I've traveled to. It all made sense as the kindest people in all my travels were in Cambodia. She gave me future recommendations & I promised to return! The atmosphere: Clean, bright, variety of styled of seats, couches, high tops, & greenery walls that have cute neon signs. Wish this place was closer because it definitely had a coffee shop vibe. As a boba addict, I think I might have to pick this place over all the amazing boba options in that area & that's saying a lot! Please go try these goodies for yourself & support our local business owners!
