    Spicy Teriyaki Chicken

The food is always yummy here. I normally get the bento but this time I got spicy teriyaki chicken and it was nice and spicy! The California roll, dragon roll, tuna roll all great also! The service is always great.

I would definitely stop by when in the area to try MORE of the rolls. The Maki and special rolls were all tasty and the presentation was nice; just the right amount of rice in the sushi rolls, nothing special (~$1/bite). I would PASS on the 10pcs sashimi combo (fresh, but not filling - small portions) $16.95 This combined with an appetizer (to share) was perfect for a pit stop, but $50 later... not a filling meal for 3. The service was not noteworthy. We had to ask for water each time, but it gave us something to do while we waited *lol*. The food was NOT served quickly, but when it arrived it was as ordered; no issues. I just would like the portions to be a little more filling, perhaps a bento box would have been a better meal choice. ***Taroko in Ashland is still by far my FAVORITE spot for high quality sashimi; their Chirashi for $18 is alone worth the trip *thumbs up*

    Crater comet appetizer

A friend recommended us to go here so we came on a date night hoping to do dinner and a movie. Unfortunately, we only got to the dinner part because it took them AN HOUR AND A HALF to make two rolls. We ordered the crater comet appetizer which we asked for spicy tuna. The server gave us the crab version. Not a big deal until the rest of dinner was also incorrect. Our server was VERY unprofessional. After waiting for over an hour, she came to us - word by word, i repeat - and said, "It's been so long since you've ordered your food that I forgot which sushi roll you ordered." Ummm excuse me ? Yes, we have been waiting for a long time...thanks for letting us know. She tries to put a spicy tuna roll in front of us but we tell her we didn't order it. She goes back to the counter to find out who she's supposed to give that order to. We also never got our waters refilled. We ordered the volcano and the galaxy roll. So-so. Mediocre. Nothing special. After we were done with our dinner, and we were waiting for the check with our plates cleaned and neatly placed at the end of the table, the server comes back and tried to give us another roll but we said we never ordered that one either. She got confused and went back to the counter. Overall, the sushi was ok. The galaxy roll was unique but because of the poor customer service, we will not be back.

L to R: Flaming Philadelphia and Zen Zen

We came here for dinner, Jon, Maureen, and I. The waitress kindly explained that they were running low on some things from a busy night but that they would substitute and accommodate us. We got edamame, potstickers, Flaming Philadelphia Roll(with avocado instead of the crab), spicy tuna, spicy salmon, California roll, and the Zen Zen roll. My. Flaming. Philly. Roll. Was. Sooooooo. Good. That was my favorite. I enjoyed all of the others, as well, and the potstickers had awesome flavor. Our service was fantastic, and we were in and out pretty quickly. The pricing was really reasonable, and the quality definitely exceeded the price. I'll be back. I didn't even try all the rolls I wanted to.

Best sushi in Central Point! They have WiFi for customers, and it's also a great option for takeout as well. Soonyang is amazing too!

I've been wanting to try Thai Garden for a while and finally did today…read more My summary: hot, fresh and delicious food! Just go! I didn't know about the many lunch specials, which made my choice even easier: $13.95 for a small salad, small egg roll, and good sized entree with choice of white or brown steamed rice. I ordered the cashew chicken w/ white rice, which was plenty for lunch. My Thai iced team, served in small frosty mug, was good, too, but not as flavorful as other Asian restaurants in the area. That's okay -- the food was more important! I think Thai Garden must do a lot of takeout business, because the space for dining in is small and there aren't a lot of tables. (It's sort of hidden, too, so I think it's more for locals.) But, no problem.... I got there a little before 1 pm and there were more than a few choices in terms of where to sit. I'll be back sooner than later because there are a lot more dishes that I want to try!

Again, not a big deal. The female working was nice and smiled a lot. I got it back to eat it and saw that it was a pretty healthy portion but wish they would have included lime. I got 2 star on the spicy level which was perfect for me; a little heat but not too hot. The food was fine...not great but decent and probably what you'd expect from Thai food in Southern OR. The issue I had was with the to-go packaging. The foil, which probably helped keep the food warm, tore when I got toward the bottom. I had to fish out pieces of foil from the noodles. Other than the foil, the my experience was pretty average.

Its not fine dining by any means, but I can't deny that I really love their orange chicken and noodles! I ate here the other day when my husband and I were doing some last minute shopping at the mall...he wasn't hungry, so I decided to splurge and have Chinese Gourmet Express! The people that helped me at the counter were nice, especially the younger girl that was working, she was quick and friendly. And surprisingly, she actually gave me good portion sizes too, as sometimes at mall eatery places they can be stingy, but I got a lot of orange chicken, more than I thought they would give me! When I sat down to eat, I got exactly what I expected...consistent, mall-quality Chinese which is what I wanted! The noodles were cooked OK, nothing fancy but they get the job done...the orange chicken was good, the breading tasty and the sauce flavorful. The quality of the chicken was pretty good as well, sometimes at places like this its lacking, but here it was good and I would definitely order the chicken again! All in all it is what it is, but if you are craving guilty-pleasure Panda Express-ish fake Chinese, as I sometimes do, this is your place!

They had really gone downhill with poor food quality and food running out. There were none of those problems today. There was an abundance of delicious food choices which were kept well stocked even though we were there at 3 pm between lunch and dinner. My friend doesn't eat red meat but there were ample chicken and seafood dishes to satisfy his hearty appetite. He remarked too on some of the unusual flavors~ everything wasn't bland and tasteless. I especially enjoyed several varieties of sushi as an appetizer before filling my plate with the hot food. Our table was kept cleared of our used plates as it was nice to start with a clean plate on each trip. We spent an hour and a half enjoying the tasty food and conversation. No need for me to eat dinner tonight! My friend remarked that he wished he lived closer to the New Tin Tin Buffet (we both live in Ashland) as he'd be eating there every day! We couldn't have had a better experience~ the New Tin Tin Buffet is terrific!

We had a fabulous time eating dinner here at the Tin Tin Chinese buffet. The price on weekday dinners is around $18 ...and NO tax! Please tip though. This is a pretty big place with a decent sized buffet. There's more choices than I could even try. Old dried cold food? Not here! Everything was hot and fresh as I saw trays being replenished. We went around 5pm, so yeah if you are not so smart and show up 15 minutes before they close, no the food will not be fresh and many trays will be empty, cause no business is gonna fill trays with new food right at the end and then have to toss out a ton of food after they close! We were seated in a nice booth and there seemed to be a lot of other people enjoying the food here, plates piled high with seafood and other tasty looking foods. They have all the standard American Chinese food people expect, like sweet and sour pork, egg rolls, fried rice, hot and sour soup, broccoli beef and honey walnut prawns along with some dishes I didn't know what they were. But besides these standard dishes, some more authentic dishes were available as well, like deep fried calamari with jalapeno and salt, whole baked salmon and steamed white fish, stir fried green beans with garlic, salt and pepper fried whole prawns. No chicken feet though! Some dishes I've not see at a buffet were, pulled BBQ pork, Chinese BBQ pork, sweet and sour meatballs on a skewer and even custard tarts for dessert! There's plenty of choices for all tastes, even a section of spicy Korean foods as well as sushi rolls. There is even a cold foods and salad section ... I passed saving tummy room for hot foods! The quality of all the food was above average for buffets and or equal to a sit down and order ala carte place. Drinks besides water are not included in the base price. Sushi wasn't the best, but I come for the Chinese food. Service was fine. Every time we went back to the buffet to get more food, the dirty plates were cleared from the table upon my return. I'd recommend this place for an easy dinner for a large party or just two! Or five!
