They gave excellent recommendations, checked in at all the right times without ever making us feel rushed, and brought such genuine, upbeat energy to the table. You can tell they truly care about making guests feel welcomed and taken care of. The food and atmosphere at Buddakan were already incredible, but Anja and Beau elevated the entire evening. If you're dining at Buddakan, ask for Anja and Beau if you can--you'll be in the best hands. Easily some of the best service I've had in New York. 10/10.

They made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our entire visit, and their energy was amazing. They even surprised my boyfriend with a little birthday treat, which was such a thoughtful and sweet gesture. We appreciated it more than they probably realize, and it made his birthday feel extra special. Thank you, Anja and Beau, for making our experience so wonderful! You both deserve all the recognition, and we'll definitely remember the kindness you showed us. We'll definitely be back for them!

I ordered the toro ssam bap, onion & amberjack, and lobster myun, and everything was incredible. Every dish was so rich in flavor, the fish was unbelievably fresh, and man do they know how to make a good bowl of ramen! I genuinely don't think there was a single thing I didn't love. The ambiance is also worth mentioning. It's definitely a moodier restaurant, which I personally love. I went during the afternoon and somehow felt like I stepped into a completely different world. Between the food, service, and atmosphere, this is easily one of my favorite dining experiences in NYC. I can't recommend it enough!

We waited for our table inside by the hostesses. Which was tight. When we were seated I was excited to read the menu. We decided on the Wagyu ramyun, Family ramyun, lobster myun, and the donkatsu. Wagyu ramyun had a nice strong beef aroma while the beef melted in your mouth. The broth was lukewarm and the noodles was too limp that it needed Viagra. I'm not a fan of over cooked noodles. Family ramyun also has lukewarm broth and limp noodles. The broth's flavor was nothing special. Very typical pork bone broth. The lobster myun was nice. Chewy noodles in a strong lobster emulsion sauce. This was my favorite, but my other friends thought the boy was too hard and the sauce too strong. The sauce reminded me of eating the lobster brains. Strong lobster taste. Very concentrated. There are no lobster meat pieces in the bowl. The donkatsu was a nice big tender and crispy porkchop with a yummy sauce. It didn't come with the rice so I asked our waiter for the rice. He was like "Oh! I'll get you another one." What? We never got our first one. Recap: Beautiful place. Serve was eh. And food was 3.8/5. Thank you.

The vibe inside is dark and intimate with plenty of seating. The waitress was so friendly and offered to run down the menu with us and help us decide what to get. For apps (forgot to capture a pic :( ) we got the Roti Canai, Crispy Calamari and Chicken lettuce wraps. The calamari was literally the best calamari ive ever had.. The batter and seasoning that was dusted on top made it sooo delish! The chicken wrap was also a fan fav. We couldn't get enough. For the mains we ordered the malaysian curry, massaman curry and the Sambal.. Alll the dishes were seasoned so well and you get plenty for the price. I would absolutely go back to Rasa, anytime. Soooo good!

Pineapple Fried Rice - was missing acidity from lime and was missing texture, perhaps nuts or bean sprouts would have elevated the dish Chicken Pad Thai - perfect, there were a lot of chicken pieces in it too Nasi Lemak (curried chicken) - great as well, loved the anchovies Would love to try the Malay wings, roti canai and egg noodles next time. I also had to wash my hands and the staff was cleaning the bathroom. The individual cleaning was so nice and accommodated me instead of having me wait.
