This place is extremely convenient, as you can walk in from 10am-like 830pm. Leo gave me the best 30 minute chair massage I've ever gotten. It was exactly what my achy back / neck / arms needed. It honestly released my stress. They play the perfect mood music too! I will be back read more

The quality of the massages offered at these chain Zen massage centers is astounding. I've gone to a couple locations, and they are many times better to "professional" places I've been run by doctors and fancy places in California that charge $250 a pop. The quality of these massages is excellent despite being standardized and not private. High recommend read more

Randomly stopped in here for a massage while walking through the mall. I like that they post the types massage and cost outside. The prices are pretty reasonable compared to other comparable stores I have visited. Staff here is friendly. They were not to busy so I was seated pretty quickly for a foot massage. The water temperature was hot and the massage was pretty good. The pressure was a little on the lighter side than I prefer but my feet were aching and it felt really good. The chair I sat in was very comfortable. One thing they did not perform is a back massage. Some places when they do a foot massage, is roll you over and do a quick back and leg massage. One place I go to does it so I got used to it, but a lot of places do not. A foot massage is just a foot massage and maybe the lower parts of the leg. Overall, it was a very decent massage and a reasonable cost. Definitely worth a stop if your in the area. read more

Zen Acupressure - Massage Near Me - Anchorage, Alaska

I am pleased with what service they provided to keep my blood flowing, kept up and that right amount of acupressure to apply to my kinks. I highly recommend! read more

Very relaxing, the staff are professional and very clean. We had just hopped off our cruise and this was much needed and enjoyed! read more

My husband and I had 30 minute table and 30 minute foot massages. It was our first experience with acupressure massage. We will definitely be back. Worked through my aching muscles and I feel revived and relaxed. I definitely am going back and recommend to others. Very clean and sanitary. Reasonable prices and quiet atmosphere, even though it was in a mall. read more

I've passed this massage parlor over the 14 years and so whenever I'm traveling into Anchorage and just strolling the mall to kill some time. I finally caved in and decided on a foot massage. I'm very picky with massages, and I've gone to different massage parlors in Tokyo, Singapore, Seoul, and others. But I decided why not on a foot massage. The foot massage was amazing! Better than what I expected!! Better than some foot massages I've had when I'm overseas for work. I can't wait to get back to Anchorage I have to try more massages at this location. It was surprisingly really good foot massage! read more

Signed for a waiting list and had to sit outside the store because the waiting chairs are full. People who walked in 30 min later were taken before me because they were in the store despite being 6 places down the list. When I asked why they have a waiting list or what is the point of being on a list they simply says, "sorry about that. Haha". Ok... read more

I'm a healthcare worker who suffers from back pain. After one session I had a lot of soreness at first but after a few days I felt amazing and can definitely feel a difference. Definitely recommend it and also look forward to going back again! read more

Just the best. They do give a strong pressure massage. If you like a light touch, be sure to let them know. For the price, it cannot be beat. read more

Just came from the 5th Avenue Mall location and feel great. You can call ahead to make an appointment or (and I love the convenience of this in contrast to other massage places in Anchorage) just walk in. Very reasonable prices and lots of choices on the menu. Acupressure is different from an oil massage - there was lots of deep pressure massage which may or may not be for everyone. If you aren't sure about that, perhaps consider starting your first time with a foot massage rather than table/full body massage. Either way, highly recommend. I'm going to sleep well tonight... read more

Just went the location in the Dimond Mall. I have been in so much pain in my upper back and neck area, the last few days especially. THE PAIN RELIEF I HAVE IS AMAZING! I had a 30 minute chair massage and the price is very affordable! Never again will I go that long in pain knowing affordable and AMAZING relief is available with no appointment. read more

Absolutely excellent! They really do an amazing job here! I've actually come here many times before and will be back any chance I get to come to anchorage. The money I've spent here has always been well worth it, and no matter the person I have always had an enjoyable experience. My biggest thing with massage places is communication, and they always check to make sure that you are comfortable and enjoying yourself. I left here feeling amazing and I splurged and did the table massage with the foot massage. Any choice you get or any combo you choose will be a good choice! Definitely worth a check out for a quick "Zen" moment in your busy life! read more

Having travelled to Hong Kong and China through the years, one of the most common activities is to get a massage. Surprisingly, the style, technique and pressure applied were exactly how the massages are practiced there - the most satisfying is the reflexology, a must try, but must be able to ensure some "pain". read more

Zen Acupressure - Table massage - Massage Near Me - Anchorage, Alaska

First things first: chair massage is PERFECT for all the pregnant ladies out there! Lord knows after flying and enduring hours-long layovers in airports while 7 months pregnant gives a girl some aches and pains. This place solves my problem and nearly puts me to sleep every time (in a good way!) I come to Zen every time I find myself in Anchorage and I regret it never. I LOVE this place- both the 5th ave and diamond mall locations. My husband also loved the pressure and stretching he gets here. No, it's not a "get your own room and undress" type of place BUT I think that's what makes it unique. Sometimes I just want a really great foot/shoulder massage and this place gets it done probably better than 70% of other "get undressed in a personal room" places I've been to. It's great because you can choose from a bunch of options and it's SO AFFORDABLE. I've done the table and chair massages before and ALWAYS get the foot massage!! It's the BEST! Wear loose clothing and expect them to get under your shirt on your shoulders with lotion and oil- wear something you don't mind getting a bit lotion-y. read more

This place is phenomenal. I've spent upwards of $100 at other massage locations, and this place is amazingly priced and they really work on you! I had a 20 min table massage and it was amazing- guy even popped my back for me. Also love that it's walk in. If you can get past the music (a little too fast paced) and the noise of the mall- it is probably the best massage place! read more

My review is for the Dimond Mall location. The first time I went here I was recovering from a lower back injury. I walked in on a whim looking for some pain relief. The massage was firm which I love. I was pleasantly surprised that in 40 minutes they also turned me over to put on an eye mask and facial oil. It was super relaxing and unexpected. On the downside, I've never been able to successfully revisit the location. I have walked by many times hoping for a quick walk-in but the wait time is always too lengthy. On my last attempt I was fine with waiting, but a couple came in with their crying baby. I ended up leaving because I wouldn't find it relaxing to hear screaming during a massage. The massage is easily a 5/5, but the overall experience is incredibly dependent on whoever else is there at the time. I'll continue to try again and I hope to visit on another quiet day. read more

I love this place. Both locations are equally great. They almost always have immediate availability when I walk in, and they do wonderful massage pressure and are very professional. Fair price and nice relaxing ambience as well. Highly recommend. read more

I go to their Dimond location regularly. Everyone is wonderful and I always feel better when I leave. There have been times when I'm so sore I can barely walk and after coming here, I feel like a kid again. Plus they have very reasonable prices. I highly recommend either location. read more

Was in desperate need of a foot massage and came to check this place out. Very clean and the guy who worked on me definitely applied plenty of pressure to my feet and back. The only downside is the noise from the mall however that wouldn't keep me from coming back. read more

I usually love these types of foot massage places, this is the first time I have been injured from a massage, three weeks out & still in pain that was not there before. perhaps I just got the wrong guy having a bad day? read more

What a relaxing, pleasant, wonderful experience I had at the Zen today! Although they are a newer business, I'm still surprised I'm the first to review them, which I will happily do. After getting a manicure at the nail salon next door, I decided to try Zen's "Package D," which included a 30 minute table massage and a 20 minute foot massage. After the face down portion of the table massage, the face up included a pleasing lavender temple/forehead massage. Ahhhhh! The foot massage started with a brief foot soak, followed by 20 minutes of a make you fall asleep in the plush chair with a lavender eye mask on bliss. Both of the masseurs were very professional and respectful. Don't shy away just because they're located in the mall- you will miss out! The dim lighting, serene decor and zen music make you feel like you're in a regular spa. They did not ask if I had any injured/troubled areas, but I won't take a star away for that. If you prefer less pressure on your massage, let them know before you start. Unlike a regular salon, however, their prices are completely reasonable. My 50+ minutes of bliss only set me back $58. Many packages or a la carte services to choose from! read more

Last weekend I got a massage here (20 minutes table and 20 minutes foot massage). Heaven! Very relaxing and very nice people. The lady is very polite a and nice. Gave me water as I waited and after massage. I came back today with my man and we both got the Same deal again. I highly recommend this place and I wish I had one in Colorado. read more

Zen Acupressure - Massage Near Me - Anchorage, Alaska

The place is called "zen acupressure" so I suppose a lot of pressure is to be expected, but this massage was just painful. I was in more pain leaving than I was when I arrived. I'm almost certain the employees don't actually know much about massage as they just use so much force it causes bruising and swelling and just makes things worse. Aside from that, you can tell they try to create a "zen" atmosphere, however it is still in a mall so all the children screaming and teenagers hollering for attention will still be audible. read more

Stopped by here on a whim after I tweaked my neck, and I was thoroughly impressed! I was seen immediately and the atmosphere was great. I had James, and he did a fabulous job! I love how you can come get a quick massage without all the fuss of going to a full on spa massage. Will definitely be back. read more

I've been to this place twice last month. The first guy was better than the second who I asked to add more pressure. I should have gotten the first guy's name but I think if you are vocal about what you want, they will deliver. The second guy, Tom, actually gave a really good feet massage. This is where I have received the most relief from neck and back stiffness after a massage. When it is getting close to the hour, I almost wished it was almost over. Hurt so good lol but worked. I would come back again. Possibly when I get off on Friday read more

My husband and I were visiting Alaska for a wedding so had an entire day to myself while he was at a bachelor party. I decided to go shopping in the mall down the street from our hotel as I made it to next floor of the mall I saw the massage therapists lure me in and I'm so glad they did. I had the best 15 minutes chair massage at this place and for a great price. They worked on so much in so little time. It was a perfect way to start my day. I would definitely go back next time I'm in Anchorage. read more

This place does a great job. I will be back for sure. Was a little hesitant about the location but they do an amazing job. My back pain was gone after my first session. read more

I go to massage envy for massages. After tonight, I will be cancelling my membership. This is the best place for massage. I've never felt so relax. Their acupressure beats the deep tissue massage in ME.The people are so nice and walk-ins are welcome. You get seated immediately. Price is very reasonable too. read more

Excellent. Better than expected. A no joke deep tissue massage.

I usually don't like to get a massage with my cloths on in a main room that's not so private but I thought I'd give it a try since I Love Chinese massage and I needed one after a long walk in the mall. All the ppl working there are so welcoming and professional with great prices so I ended up going back with a friend who was as happy as I was. I can't wait to go back again next time I'm in Anchorage, it's just a right gift to do to yourself, especially after shopping :) read more

After a long flight and finding no chiropractor that took walkins, I went to the mall to check out this place. Very nicely furnished. I got the 30 min table and 30 min foot massage package. Very well done and he really let my back have it. Some may find it a bit too much pressure, but you can ask to lighten up like the customer next to me. read more

Omg such a heavenly massage. Tom was so nice and professional and worked with fervor to get all those knots out of my back. Pressure was deep and firm but not at all uncomfortable. I felt wonderful during and afterwards. There is some ambient noise from the mall but it wasn't a big deal. Would definitely come back! read more

I am just not the type to enjoy a massage in the noisy mall with my clothes on. The massage was good, but it is like getting a massage in the airport. So, I recommend if you have time or immediate need, if not, Anchorage has better places. read more

I wish I could split my rating into two sections: experience and venue. If you're planning to strip down and have Enya playing during tour massage, you're not gonna get that here. I asked for 2 90min massages for myself and a friend over the phone and the woman I spoke with spoke perfect English and gave me no indication that this might be a problem. When we arrived, we found all the tables together in an open room with fringe in between. The employees spoke VERY little English, which made it really difficult to communicate what we wanted. She seems kinda pissed that we wanted 90min, so we chopped it to 60min. You obviously can't take off any clothes. The doors are open the entire time and it's inside of the mall so all you hear the whole time is people screaming, laughing, fighting, kids crying, etc; not very peaceful. The massage itself was pretty good, kinda rough though so watch out for that. She didn't even touch my feet in the whole 60min massage so I asked for another 20min in the foot chair, which irritated her too, I think. Only time she was really happy is when I tipped her, but whatever. I'm not sure I'd go again unless I need a quick massage. I much prefer the private room where u can disrobe and have some peace. read more

I was not that impressed. I booked massages for my sister and I when we were visiting Anchorage a few weeks ago. Unfortunately the masseuse didn't ask if I had any injuries or problem spots. There wasn't any paperwork to fill out, and no way for me to share with them that I had an old injury from a car accident that would occasionally cause trouble. The masseuse used too much pressure and re injured the spot and I have now spent almost $1,000 at the chiropractor trying to fix the damage that was caused and am in constant pain. read more

Amazing deep massage! Sam was extremely good. Since it is in the mall, lots of people just walk in. Casual and comfortable place for great massage. I love it. read more
