I noticed soothing music in the bathroom. Then he wrapped my feet and ankles in steamy hot towels, which felt amazing. The massage itself was deep without being painful. I left the massage feeling invigorated and alive.

He was late to his appointment exactly 15 minutes (he works in Wasilla and was driving from there). We both attempted to call starting at 5:30p to let the therapist know he was on his way. When he showed up, the lights and door were shut. I received an email that was very condescending and humiliating pretty much insinuating that we looked like "scammers" (yes, she called me that). Never once did anyone call us - not one single phone call. And on the day we were late, the therapist never called or checked messages. Just left and charged us the full amount. I am appalled at the way they handled this. This isn't about the money. This is about making a new client feel down right humiliated. I'm still in shock at how rude they were in their email and the fact that they never responded back to me. Shame on you for treating a new client like this.

Walked on my back and did a lot of pressure squeezing, hot towel, warm oil, stones, light stretching. Much of the massage was done on top of the sheet until oil and the stones were incorporated. Just when I thought we were done, she asked me to turn over. She checked in with me a couple of times to make sure I was OK. And even offered me some hot green tea at the end!

Best massage I've had in Anchorage. More expensive than other places, but you get what you pay for,…read moreand massage is one of those things I think is worth paying more for higher quality. I've seen more than one massage therapist here and they all do an excellent job. You fill out an intake form before your first appointment so your massage can be tailored to fit your needs. And unlike other places I've visited, you actually get the full amount of time for which you pay. Other massage therapists I've seen wouldn't go for the full hour of my appointment but these ones do. Besides the massage quality, what stands out to me is the atmosphere of the place. The lobby is very calming with a water fountain and essential oils and other things for sale. The private massage rooms are just as nice. Soft lighting, pleasant music, and plenty of space around the massage table so you don't feel cramped. If you're a frequent visitor they have "memberships" that allow you to purchase multiple massages, and you can divide the payments. I would do that if I wasn't paying back hundreds in student loans every month. So for now this is a once a month "treat yo'self" kinda thing for me.
