Zeek's has gone steadily downhill for awhile now in my family's opinion - high prices for reduced quantity of toppings, a crust that turns to rubbery cardboard if not absolutely fresh out of their ovens make for a sub-par experience. To their credit, they've given us a free pizza in the past when we complained about an 'extra pepp' pepperoni pizza which had 12-slices of pepperoni, however, we just ordered delivery again recently and it was the same, expensive, sub-par pizza. read more

Walked in and wasn't sure if this was a family friendly place, I can now say yes it is! Our awesome server (I think simultaneously managing the bar) graciously saved us from a toddler meltdown. He also made sure to ask if ok for oregano (i.e. green stuff) to be on my kid's cheese pizza. I wish I would have gotten his name, he was the best server my toddler has ever met! This is one of those companies (Zeeks in Bothell) that I wish I could give 3 1/2 stars to. Generally like it, but there are a few inadequacies. First the good stuff: The pizza is decent, much better than the Domino-type places, but not as good as Maltby pizza (which is excellent!). The prices are reasonable given the higher quality (I usually have a Valpak $3 off coupon). And their delivery is incredibly fast and on time (they even called me once to tell me they were running 10 minutes late). However, speed is not important to us, I don't think it's unreasonable to wait 50-60 minutes or more for delivery. But I'd gladly wait 20-30 more minutes for delivery if they could fix 2 issues. First, I prefer to order online rather than by phone. But like so many companies Zeeks requires that you set up an account with them to be able to order online. No thanks, I don't need to feed another marketing database for free. They spin it as being able to provide better service and remembering my preferences. Bull. It takes less than 10 seconds to fill out the order form. They only need to know where I live, what I want, phone, and valid credit card. I sent this feedback to their comments/feedback site ("Lay it on us here") but heard nothing back. Second, their quality needs to be more consistent. While the majority of the pies have been fine, we've had a few disappointing ones. One obviously had not been kept level, 1/3 of the topping slid off into the box. Another time 25% of the topping surface was just bare dough bubbles. That's one I wish they had done over and been a little late on the delivery. Well still order from time to time, but not nearly as often as we would if they fixed those two issues. read more

New in town ordered the large Hurricane pizza with chicken. Was surprised when told me was $42 total for delivery! For a large vegetable pizza with chicken but I thought it must be really good. The reviews were 3-4 stars. I bit the bullet and tried it. The dough tasted like it was only cooked about 15 minutes- was extremely doughie and no flavor. The toppings on the pizza were good sized and in each bite you got them BUT they also were bland. It was as if they didn't put ANY spices in the pizza at all. We were horribly disappointed and even tried to recook it & spice it. Failure. We could have had 5 pizzas for $42 and would have been tastier. read more

I don't know what happened, but the past 6 months or so I've been disappointed the last three times I ordered. Maybe they got a new cook? The pizza is always under-cooked now. It used to be my favorite pizza place in the area, but it's really gone downhill. I kept thinking, "Maybe it was just a fluke" but after three times in a row with doughy/under-cooked pizza, it's no longer a fluke and just the way they make stuff now. Maybe they are rushed? On Mother's Day, my boyfriend and I ordered pizza and breadsticks to pick up. It was 8pm and took us 35 mins to drive there. Upon arrival we got a voicemail, the phone didn't even ring, that Zeeks closed early and they voided our order. They didn't call us until we had arrived at the restaurant and I think they sent the call straight to voicemail. I've never experienced a restaurant doing this! My favorite pizza in Seattle. A little more expensive when you are dining solo or you don't eat much. I am never disappointed by their pizza, ever. My favorite is the one in Redmond but Bothell is pretty great too. Watch the drinks, they can be expensive for a pizza joint. I realized why their pizza tastes so different-they use bagel dough for crust. This makes the pizza crust more chewy and moist. read more

Service is bad. That's all I can say. Took 30 minutes to get a water refill and then I had to go get it myself. The waiter at the next table was flustered when the restaurant was less than half full. The waitress we had really didn't want to wait on anyone. The food was OK at best. A little on the bland side. Apparently they don't use any red sauce here. Not that I could find. Love the pizza here...crust crispy and chewy...and the toppings super fresh. Great options classic to unique...truly something for everyone. And their salads are great too. Love the pizza -- especially the John Candy -- but the wine selection is abysmal and, unless you're an IPA fan, the beer options are just sad (particularyly since they've gotten rid of Mack & Jack's). Given the choice between Zeeks and Brooklyn Brothers in the north end or Zeeks and Pagliacci everywhere else, Zeeks is going to be my second choice. read more

We usually get carry out and the team is always friendly. The fact that a different person is usually at the bar where we pick up is key, cuz the team always chats and when they bring out our order we've always got what we need, including the peppers and cheese. Consistency is key and this location has always exceeded our expectations for a quality consistent pizza. I have not eaten inside but rather take-out via online ordering. Online ordering is straight forward and they have always got my pizza ready within 15-20 minutes. Most of the time it is waiting for me by the time I get there. The quality and freshness of the veggies have always been excellent. That is the one thing we look for when ordering a pizza. I really like their sauce as it has a lot of depth and flavor compared to other pizzas at this price point. At one time, my wife and I were ordering take-out from this location every week! That's how much we like Zeeks. Wood Butcher, Cherry Bomb and Kitchen Sink are our regular items. Also the salads are good too. We usually get the Greek salad, and their dressing is nice and light. We ordered the chicken club pizza. The crust was nice and warm but the toppings were somewhat cold. The cold spinach was also making the pizza somewhat soggy. We had them re-heat the pizza. However, at this point, the pizza was soggy, but warmer. Another thing is that the pizza wasn't flavorful. Where is that secret sauce that will separate it from other Pizza places? I've been here on two occasions to buy pizza. On both times it was for pickup. The large pizza costs $30 which is ridiculous. They should not be charging Seattle prices for pizza here in Bothell. A $30 pizza should be amazing, these ones were not. The ingredients were very sparse and there is far too much pizza crust compared to the toppings. For half the price you can go to Papa Murphy's nearby and get a far better pizza. For a third of the price you could drive to Costco and get a superior pizza. The one upside is that they have lots of different pizzas on the menu which aren't available at your average pizza place. read more

It was okay, in my opinion pizza shouldn't be hella chewy, hella greasy, not going there again. PLUS its HELLA expensive...... $22 for a medium pizza. And they can't even cut it equally. The sizes of each piece is different sizes. This is so stupid. Maybe i should make it a one star. But im going to give it a 2 star because im nice. When i opened the pizza to find out what it looked like (seeing as this was my first time trying Zeeks) i saw that there was very little topping on it. When i order a pizza i assume a lot of toppings. I got the John Candy, was expexting a lot of Italian sausage on the pizza but there was very little sausage. I decided to try Zeeks in Bothell this afternoon. I was having some friends over for dinner and wanted to order in pizza. I needed to order some gluten-free pizza which Zeeks offers. I called the order in a couple hours ahead of time to make sure it would be ready when I arrived to pick it up. I ordered the tree hugger, the frog green belly and the hurricane (gluten free) -along with two large chop salads. When I arrived the pizzas were ready but the salads still needed to be made. I ended having to wait over 10 minutes while they completed the salads. I was frustrated that I took the time to call this in approximately 2 hours ahead of time and they still failed to have everything ready. The restaurant was not at all busy when I was there. There was only one customer sitting in the restaurant and two people sitting at the bar. There were about six people working, so it seemed like they should've been able to complete this order with a two hour notice. The pizza was pretty good. I thought it was a little bit expensive. I'm not sure I will drive all the way over there again for pizza - especially with the slow response to getting my order completed on time. read more

Having been a fan of Zeeks in Seattle I was surprised to see one in the burbs. We've eaten here several times now. The service is always amazing, the beers OK (NItro Milk Stout) and the pizza above normal. The crust really is the winner here. We've had the BBQ which was decent but overwhelmed by cilantro. We couldn't tell if we got a pile of cilantro or a pizza with a pile of cilantro. They could improve by cutting back the cilantro. We've also done the Thai which was good but it would be great if they didn't overwhelm the pizza with carrots. We found ourselves munching on carrots and missing the flavor of the pizza. Cut them in half and it will be balanced. We did the special crazy mushroom pizza with several types and had no complaints. You pay an extra couple of dollars for it but it was good. read more

Slightly rude staff on the first visit but the second visit was good. Both times excellent food. We had the buffalo soldier and when it came out my son and I did not like how it looked but it was damn good. The second visit my son got the soldier and I got the chop salad, which was massive and again the food was good. This is our go-to place when we want pizza or just can't think of anything else nearby. My wife prefers Uncle Petezas, but Zeek's gets the nod with me for the freshness and quality of ingredients...you can taste it. The only drawback is the price, you could be pushing $30 for a large build-your-own with 4 or so toppings...the trick is to pick one of their own creations which are pretty tasty themselves (way cheaper).
