I was in the area and decided to stop by this spot without really looking too much into it. I was a bit short on time, and when it popped up nearby I figured it would be worth trying. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, but it actually had a good amount of seating inside which was nice. I ordered one slider and one tender with fries. I got the slider Hot and the tender X-Hot. Surprisingly, I liked the Hot slider more than the X-Hot tender. The Hot had better flavor overall and seemed a lot juicier. The X-Hot definitely brought the heat, but the flavor on the Hot just stood out more to me. The kid working the counter was a little awkward, but still welcoming and helpful when taking my order. Overall it was a solid experience and the food was good. If I'm in the area again, I'd consider stopping by. Solid spot for a quick bite.

We order the chicken sandwiches and Zecto fries and the sandwiches were extremely good and freshly made. The fries were also good but for me had too much sauce but my boys enjoyed them. The fries are so crispy and taste so good with the seasoning they put on. The service was very friendly and helpful. Ambiance was chill inside and they do have a tv showing the sports games. Parking is good and they do have a drive thru as well.

The thing about hot chicken places is that, when they work, they soar wonderfully, but when they fail, they fail spectacularly. It's very hard to get right the balance between being pulse-racing hot and cleverly delicious. You either lose the flavor in all that heat or you just don't bring it when it comes to the promise of burning you alive from the inside. I'm glad to say that Zecto's finds that balance. I was thoroughly impressed with how good (and big) the tenders were in their combos. Not only did the sting of some absolutely flaming chicken become noticeable in the first bite, but each belt was also noticeably scrumptious as well. The service was exemplary, as the workers had my back with refills, requests for honey, and to-go boxes. They also just had a pleasant and helpful demeanor when it came to interacting with them. Also, for a fast casual spot, the size was perfect. It had lots of tables for both two and four guests, and even accommodated our six person party admirably. I also thought the location had great parking and a drive-thru option, something you don't see often in the hot chicken game. All in all, this place was great if you want something other than the usual Dave's or Clyde's, and I think I'm a greater person for having eaten there. Like a great cyborg once said, I'll be back.

ZETCO is the place to go, w/ your family or invite friends. The food is fresh and caliente. The service is A-1, it's clean, and welcoming. Nestled in a quaint spot, the music is upbeat now let's talk Food. I got the SANDO and the fries were fresh, hot and well seasoned no need for ketchup, the sandwich is so yummy. The chicken whether seasoned or Naked is delicious, the slaw resting on top of the chicken, with pickles is really great and hot! And the combo does come with a cold drink, I purchased the vanilla shake. It brought back nostalgia as I dipped it between bites. Geaux see Matthew and Krewe, enjoys a family owned and operated business where you are treated like family.

This is our new favorite chicken wings spot! We came across this place about a month ago and have since gone back 3 times. The wing flavors are soo good and the wings are cooked perfectly. WOW NOW THATS WHAT I CALL FRIED CHICKEN! A little background for me when I first had Dave's hot chicken that was the first time I had fried chicken that really awakened something inside me a fried chicken fiend if you will. Ever since that day I've been chasing that same high and after all those years I thought maybe I would never get that same feeling again. That's until I had Zecto. The fried chicken here is something else it really helps that each item is made to order cause the freshness and crispness of the chicken is really something special. The seasoning on the fried chicken is almost like a layer of sauce with how well it is coated and the juiciness of the meat itself is divine. Yes it is on the pricey side but you can definitely taste the quality and to me that's worth it versus a commercialized taste that a lot of other fried chicken joints have fallen victim to. The service here is phenomenal I had multiple orders when I dined in here and each of those times we were given free items like extra sauce, waffles, cookies all free of charge which was really nice. Overall I HIGHLY recommend this place even if you aren't a fried chicken fiend this is just objectively delicious food that you won't be disappointed with. Thank you Zecto!

THIS IS MY FAVORITE HOT CHICKEN PLACE. By far actually. The only comparable places are out side of the state so this is easily my favorite hot chicken spot. Its got the most flavorful hot chicken, I like all the different flavors they have for the zecto fries like teriyaki and mango habanero and omg its so good I've tried the tenders, sandwich, and the zecto fries and all 3 are the best! Prices are a little high, I like their combo deals, and their daily specials. Service is pretty fast and nice and the inside seating is also good too.

The reviews were correct its not just hype this is where you will find the best nashville style chicken. It takes awhile to get your order because they make it fresh but its so worth the wait. The chicken is the juiciest most tender chicken I have ever had. I got the spicy level and damn it was hot. It was a good spicy though the kind where you still wanna eat it even though it burns. So flavorful and goes super well with the comeback sauce and ranch. Price is decent and portion size is huge - I was stuffed with the 2 chicken tenders combo. The place is super clean and accepts credit card. Wayy better than daves hot chicken or raising canes. Like 1000x better.

Tried zecto for the first time and it was a pleasant experience ! Very clean inside, and very nice and helpful employees. I got the 2 piece tender combo, which was tender and moist. The breading was different compared to other tender places so it was nice to try something new. There's a variety of sauces to pick from which complemented the meal and fries nicely.

My girlfriend and i come here all the time. The food is amazing and that is coming from a picky eater. I've had there zecto fries, there Nashville Sando, and tenders, all of those are great the chicken is really tender not like some places where its dry, the "comeback sauce" that they have is also really good. Service is great every time we come in we get greeted very nicely. The ambient is so cool and i really like the music they play. Over all 10/10 love this place read more

First time trying this new Hot Nashville Sando Combo and got it with Mac & Cheese and here's the catch...got it with Cauliflower to try something different and my brain couldn't process that it wasn't chicken! Such a good spot and would definitely come back and get some more food! Ended up getting their hottest level XHOT and it had a nice kick to it and was a slow burn. Service is great and quick and the owner is super friendly. The decor as well is on point and aesthetic and a good vibe all together! We literally came here last night and came back the next day to try another item. I have tried the Nashville sando and the Nashville tenders and they are both so good! What can I say? I found my best chicken sandwich spot in Fullerton. The flavors of the chicken and the tender bits cause you take another after another. I order my sandwich Togo and I felt at home due to the sauce and the moisture is held together by the bun and not making my car a mess. An extra touch of a little dash of coleslaw and pickles brought extra flavor and satisfaction. The mac & cheese was creamy and cheesy with a little hint of spice that gives it a richer flavor. This place is fantastic. I stopped in to try their food and had a hot chicken sandwich with coleslaw as a side. Outstanding! The chicken (which I was informed is fresh and not frozen) was very juicy and tender. The breading was just the right amount and the spice was tasty. It had pickles and sauce and coleslaw on it and to top it off it had a really soft and delicious brioche bun. This bun was not heavy and dense like other places, but soft and flavorful and the right toasted texture on top - and had a branding on the bun which was a cool little add on. The coleslaw is definitely fresh and flavorful and not like other soggy canned coleslaw I've had at other shops. I can definitely echo what others have said about Mike and he was really friendly and I could tell he values his product offering. The place was clean and easy to get in and out. Definitely a top lunch and dinner spot for me and perhaps the best hot chicken I've tried so far. They also had a bunch of other items like wings and deserts I want to try, so I will be back. If you are looking for a top chicken sandwich, I'd definitely hit up Zecto! read more

Established in 2024.

Having been avid hot chicken enthusiasts since 2019, we would constantly be traveling across beautiful SoCal in search of the best hot chicken shop. As time progressed, our favorite places began to decline in quality and would fall short of the things that made us originally fall in love with them. With this being the case, we decided to take matters into our own hands and do things right ourselves. From serving the absolute best quality of certified halal chicken we could source, to ensuring that each flavor of sauce and seasoning worked in harmony, we worked tirelessly to provide Orange County with what hot chicken and loaded fries are meant to be: delicious without compromise. We like to say our motto is "One bite, and you'll know" because...well, the phrase says it all. We can not wait for you to stop by!

It's actually hard to overcook sea bass but they managed it. A lady came by and did apologize saying something about the fish being lost in her translation. Her English sounded perfect to me. I just smiled and said it was ok but I could smell the fish coming before it hit the table. Super fishy. But maybe it would be ok. I took a bite and another just in case I had it wrong but it tasted old. Chilean sea bass is supposed to have a buttery soft texture. It just smelled, tasted and felt old. I let her know. She went and told the waiter who I could see shaking his head. He didn't return to serve us. She closed out the bill and removed the fish at my request. If that was it I would not have left this review because cooks have off days sometimes and there are hundreds of restaurants I've eaten at that just don't need a review. But the attitude I got was uncalled for. She said they served 3 and nobody else complained. Well that was awkward. After 3 they should have known the difference between salmon and sea bass. I really enjoy Indian food. Just not going to enjoy it here. I hope this review helps other diners.

I have been working in the food business since high school so I am very honest in my reviews. I came in with my brother and we ordered 2 Sando Combos with mild spice. I got the Mac n cheese and he got the fries. Starting off with the sandwich it was very juicy and not greasy at all which is perfect because nowadays a lot of fried chicken spots are very greasy and makes me feel bad afterwards. The seasoning was not overwhelming which is good because you were able to enjoy everything else that was in the sandwich. The sides were very good as well the Mac n cheese was very good and didn't taste bland at all. The fries were well cooked and seasoned and that's very good because a lot of places can't even make a good fry I hope this place gets the attention it deserves ! read more

Highly recommend!! Finally a good hot chicken spot in the area! My husband is a wing man and he said the wings were perfect - and there are various sauce options that were good. I had the loaded fries and the chicken tenders and was so happy I got them- usually chicken tenders are mostly breading on dry chicken but these were moist with a light breading and great flavor even in the breading. The Zecto fries were good, I love the mango habanero, no complaints. Unfortunately, the spicy chicken sandwiches were disappointing.
