I was in the area and decided to stop by this spot without really looking too much into it. I was a bit short on time, and when it popped up nearby I figured it would be worth trying. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, but it actually had a good amount of seating inside which was nice. I ordered one slider and one tender with fries. I got the slider Hot and the tender X-Hot. Surprisingly, I liked the Hot slider more than the X-Hot tender. The Hot had better flavor overall and seemed a lot juicier. The X-Hot definitely brought the heat, but the flavor on the Hot just stood out more to me. The kid working the counter was a little awkward, but still welcoming and helpful when taking my order. Overall it was a solid experience and the food was good. If I'm in the area again, I'd consider stopping by. Solid spot for a quick bite.

We order the chicken sandwiches and Zecto fries and the sandwiches were extremely good and freshly made. The fries were also good but for me had too much sauce but my boys enjoyed them. The fries are so crispy and taste so good with the seasoning they put on. The service was very friendly and helpful. Ambiance was chill inside and they do have a tv showing the sports games. Parking is good and they do have a drive thru as well.

The thing about hot chicken places is that, when they work, they soar wonderfully, but when they fail, they fail spectacularly. It's very hard to get right the balance between being pulse-racing hot and cleverly delicious. You either lose the flavor in all that heat or you just don't bring it when it comes to the promise of burning you alive from the inside. I'm glad to say that Zecto's finds that balance. I was thoroughly impressed with how good (and big) the tenders were in their combos. Not only did the sting of some absolutely flaming chicken become noticeable in the first bite, but each belt was also noticeably scrumptious as well. The service was exemplary, as the workers had my back with refills, requests for honey, and to-go boxes. They also just had a pleasant and helpful demeanor when it came to interacting with them. Also, for a fast casual spot, the size was perfect. It had lots of tables for both two and four guests, and even accommodated our six person party admirably. I also thought the location had great parking and a drive-thru option, something you don't see often in the hot chicken game. All in all, this place was great if you want something other than the usual Dave's or Clyde's, and I think I'm a greater person for having eaten there. Like a great cyborg once said, I'll be back.

This is our new favorite chicken wings spot! We came across this place about a month ago and have since gone back 3 times. The wing flavors are soo good and the wings are cooked perfectly. I love their fries as well. I also appreciated how kind the workers are. I'll definitely be back there in a week!

WOW NOW THATS WHAT I CALL FRIED CHICKEN! A little background for me when I first had Dave's hot chicken that was the first time I had fried chicken that really awakened something inside me a fried chicken fiend if you will. Ever since that day I've been chasing that same high and after all those years I thought maybe I would never get that same feeling again. That's until I had Zecto. The fried chicken here is something else it really helps that each item is made to order cause the freshness and crispness of the chicken is really something special. The seasoning on the fried chicken is almost like a layer of sauce with how well it is coated and the juiciness of the meat itself is divine. Yes it is on the pricey side but you can definitely taste the quality and to me that's worth it versus a commercialized taste that a lot of other fried chicken joints have fallen victim to. The service here is phenomenal I had multiple orders when I dined in here and each of those times we were given free items like extra sauce, waffles, cookies all free of charge which was really nice. Overall I HIGHLY recommend this place even if you aren't a fried chicken fiend this is just objectively delicious food that you won't be disappointed with. Thank you Zecto!

THIS IS MY FAVORITE HOT CHICKEN PLACE. By far actually. The only comparable places are out side of the state so this is easily my favorite hot chicken spot. Its got the most flavorful hot chicken, I like all the different flavors they have for the zecto fries like teriyaki and mango habanero and omg its so good I've tried the tenders, sandwich, and the zecto fries and all 3 are the best! Prices are a little high, I like their combo deals, and their daily specials. Service is pretty fast and nice and the inside seating is also good too.

The reviews were correct its not just hype this is where you will find the best nashville style chicken. It takes awhile to get your order because they make it fresh but its so worth the wait. The chicken is the juiciest most tender chicken I have ever had. I got the spicy level and damn it was hot. It was a good spicy though the kind where you still wanna eat it even though it burns. So flavorful and goes super well with the comeback sauce and ranch. Price is decent and portion size is huge - I was stuffed with the 2 chicken tenders combo. The place is super clean and accepts credit card. Wayy better than daves hot chicken or raising canes. Like 1000x better.

Tried zecto for the first time and it was a pleasant experience ! Very clean inside, and very nice and helpful employees. I got the 2 piece tender combo, which was tender and moist. The breading was different compared to other tender places so it was nice to try something new. There's a variety of sauces to pick from which complemented the meal and fries nicely.

The service was OK and it was a little uncomfortable because we were the only ones in there but if you're looking for a good spicy hot chicken, it's a great place. More of a fast food place than a dine in setting.

A hidden gem, service was amazing and inside was very spacious. There were parking outside and it's in a brand new plaza. Their original fried chicken sandwich was on the bread was fried, but not too overbearing, and you still taste the meat which was very tender .

This review is long overdue. I was excited to try this place, waiting for it to open. When it finally did, we weren't disappointed! This is probably the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. The chicken is super moist and the flavor amazing! They're friendly, and I love that they have a drive thru. I'd come more often if they offered some healthier options, grilled chicken, wheat buns, added some tomatoes/lettuce/avocado etc. a girl can dream. It's a bit of a wait, but I'd much prefer to wait for quality, made to order! Oh and the fries are amazing! Crispy on the outside, great flavor, and soft on the inside- and I don't usually like fries. I know, I'm weird lol read more

(FYI: this review would have been avoided if I was notified and didn't have to peek through the drive thru window to catch this guys playing with my food.) Although the guy taking the order at the window was a nice guy. Management should had told me that the food would take an extra 10 min longer because they would use my food to record a video for their social media accounts. It was also gross to see an Asian female with long curly hair hovering over my food with a big camera. And two other middle eastern men just staring at my food. They should have prepared food specifically for there video not a customers. I don't believe in returning food and it being wasted. So instead I leave this review so it doesn't happen to anyone else. And I will most definitely not eat this food, I'll be giving it to a random homeless man since there's a few near this establishment. Short version: Don't be cheap when you charge $9 for a simple chicken sandwich and DONT USE A CUSTOMERS FOOD TO HAVE PEOPLE SHOOT A VIDEO OF YOUR BUSINESS. And if you are be courteous and let them know. And if you're gonna take an extra 10 min to record a video maybe not charge for the extra sauce. read more

They offer other flavors like haberno, lemon pepper, garlic parmesan, and more. Who would of thought that french fries with chicken bites on top was so addicting! Of course we had to try their Nashville sando (we got mild) and their tenders. You can adjust the heat levels as you desire! For sides, we went with mac and cheese (so cheesy). I love a good hot chicken place. I've tried almost all of them and I can confidently say NONE of them are close to how good this place is. When I went with my wife and friends a few weeks ago it took a little while to get our food out (it was the lunch rush so understandable) but the owner apologized multiple times and even brought out extra food for us to try (the waffles are awesome). The service was very friendly and helpful. They use 100% hormone free chicken. Which I think separates this place from most. The flavor of their chicken is amazing! So tender, juicy and flavorful. We got loaded fries with mango habanero (AMAZING) , and 2 sandwiches 1 hot and 1 medium. Next time I'll definitely be trying the next heal level up. It's very convenient the have a drive thru and the inside of the restaurant has a decent eating area. There's also a fun timer game to play while you wait. Zecto is a New Hot Chicken place having their Grand Opening June 14-16! 10AM-1AM, They are having many different deals & giveaways! Their chicken tenders were perfectly seasoned and not greasy at all. I loved how they had a crispy crunch to them but not overwhelmingly crispy. Their Hot Seasoning was way too spicy for me so I would definitely recommend ordering the Mild or Medium. I really enjoyed their Nashville Chicken Sando because they add their sauce, coleslaw, pickles, and chicken tender which makes it a perfect sandwich. Zecto fries were nice & crispy and the chicken/ sauce complimented the fries so well. The Mac & Cheese wasn't as cheesy as I expected but it was still very delicious & so was their coleslaw. The chocolate lava cake was the perfect way to end this meal, because they add a scoop of ice cream which helps with the spice of the chicken. They also serve beer! Ok Zecto is onto something. The food here is incredible first and foremost, and my goodness the mac and cheese here is top tier! First bite of the sandwich was crispy and then you're hit with a succulent and perfectly cooked chicken. I'm almost as moist as it is thinking about it. They even brand the bun which was just that extra step to show you they really take things serious here. Perfect balance of deliciousness all around and I really think this will become one of my go to spots for lunch, dinner, snacks...basically all meals of every day. read more

Found this place on yelp and I have to say it was AMAZING! The food was fresh and extremely flavorful. I got the Nashville Sando and my boyfriend got the Zecto fries and both were SO good! Having been avid hot chicken enthusiasts since 2019, we would constantly be traveling across beautiful SoCal in search of the best hot chicken shop. As time progressed, our favorite places began to decline in quality and would fall short of the things that made us originally fall in love with them. With this being the case, we decided to take matters into our own hands and do things right ourselves. From serving the absolute best quality of certified halal chicken we could source, to ensuring that each flavor of sauce and seasoning worked in harmony, we worked tirelessly to provide Orange County with what hot chicken and loaded fries are meant to be: delicious without compromise. I have been working in the food business since high school so I am very honest in my reviews. I came in with my brother and we ordered 2 Sando Combos with mild spice. I got the Mac n cheese and he got the fries. Starting off with the sandwich it was very juicy and not greasy at all which is perfect because nowadays a lot of fried chicken spots are very greasy and makes me feel bad afterwards. The seasoning was not overwhelming which is good because you were able to enjoy everything else that was in the sandwich. The sides were very good as well the Mac n cheese was very good and didn't taste bland at all. The fries were well cooked and seasoned and that's very good because a lot of places can't even make a good fry I hope this place gets the attention it deserves ! read more

Highly recommend!! Finally a good hot chicken spot in the area! My husband is a wing man and he said the wings were perfect - and there are various sauce options that were good. I had the loaded fries and the chicken tenders and was so happy I got them- usually chicken tenders are mostly breading on dry chicken but these were moist with a light breading and great flavor even in the breading. The Zecto fries were good, I love the mango habanero, no complaints. Unfortunately, the spicy chicken sandwiches were disappointing.
