The standout for us was the Mushroom Kapnista. The smoked mushrooms are paired with dates, roasted walnuts, cumin, and labneh, and everything works beautifully together. You get smokiness, sweetness, nuttiness, creaminess, and different textures all in one bite. The layers of flavor are surprisingly rich and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend Zaytinya. Everything about our experience at Zaytinya was outstanding, and before we left, my husband looked at our server, Dudley, and said, "We'll probably be back for lunch." He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, answered every question we had, and made navigating my husband's dairy allergy effortless. He immediately provided a menu highlighting what was safe for him and made sure dishes were prepared exactly as requested. My husband was able to enjoy his meal without worrying, which means so much when traveling. As for me...I'm a huge feta fan, so I was thrilled when the cheese was served on the side so I could enjoy it while my husband stayed dairy-free. We also asked for the lamb to be served on the side with the Hommus Kawarma since I don't eat lamb, and my husband said it was absolutely delicious. Every dish we ordered was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The Smoked Beet Salata had sweet strawberries which complimented the smoked beets - such a nice surprise! The quality of the ingredients really stood out, and it's easy to see why this restaurant has such a great reputation. It's 'tucked away' in one of the hotels where there's not a lot of people traffic and close to the exit if I recall; What I did recall is that no one was sitting outside the restaurant (whereas many restaurants closer in do have) and inside was only a few tables filled. Really nice restaurant! So spacious and we got our own privacy enjoying our conversations, without overhearing other tables. The whole sea bass is perfectly prepared and great for sharing. The best new restaurant to hit the Forum Shops without a doubt. We've gone three times since the new year and wow, pure excellence. The hummus is absolutely the best hummus I have ever tasted, and the celebration rice both with chicken or mushroom were to die for. Delicious meal and unforgettable experience! We tried Zaytinya for the first time last night and we had an excellent time. The meal was delicious and the value was superb, which was hard to get both these days at Vegas. Located in the Forum within Caesar's Palace, the restaurant offers Greek cuisine in a trendy setting. We made our reservation online, and check-in was a breeze. For our dinner, we ordered the chef tasting menu for $95 per person. The tasting menu offers a diverse range of Greek food in sample size portion, but you get so much food that you will most likely be full 2/3 of the way through the tasting menu. My favorite items within the tasting menu were the lettuce wrap with salad, sauteed shrimp, roasted Brussels sprouts, and the chickpeas hummus. Since I am a pescatarian, the chef was able to accommodate me by swapping the chicken and beef kebab with salmon and mushroom. The salmon was absolutely delicious with crispy skin and a delicious creamy sauce. As for service, our waiters were very attentive and friendly. Our water was always filled and the dishes came promptly. The ambiance of the restaurant felt trendy and intimate with booths, small tables, and large tables in the center for larger parties. The sauteed shrimp and harissa chicken wings are the best options for flavor and sharing. The shrimp was perfectly cooked in a flavorful sauce. While the chicken wings were accompanied with a labneh and pickles. The mini smash burger was a little harder to share, but still worth a try. The fries and hummus were standard and yummy. I think you should dip the fries in the shrimp dill butter sauce. My least favorite items were the halloumi flatbread and Turkish grilled cheese. The flatbread had mozzarella that overpowered the halloumi. If you're not a fan of strong cheeses, then I would pass on the grilled cheese. However, that bread was almost fried, it was crispy outside and fluffy inside. Unfortunately, the happy hour menu drinks were not a hit. I think calling it a margarita gave off the wrong impression. I ordered magic carpet off the regular menu and really enjoyed the drink, it's like a dessert. We tried a variety of desserts like the olive oil cake, turkish coffee cake, and galatopita. I've been to all of his restaurants here in Vegas so, I had to check out his newest restaurant which opened this year, Zaytinya. I went for my birthday which calls for a special meal. Starting with authentic ingredients and traditional techniques." I've had amazing Turkish, Greek and Lebanese food from friends of that heritage and restaurants I've been to. Zaytinya's interpretation of those cuisines took a nose dive when it comes to flavor. HALLOUMI PIDE: They have 4 kinds of pide, a Turkish flatbread usually stuffed with cheese, spinach, za'atar and spiced meat. This has Turkish tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, halloumi cheese, and chives. This was not pide! It was more like cafeteria pizza. 1/5 OCTOPUS SANTORINI: Grilled mediterranean octopus, marinated onions, capers, and yellow split pea purée. The octopus was properly cooked. The flavors were good. But it's nothing special 3/5 CELEBRATION RICE: Crispy tahdig, buttery basmati rice, saffron, almonds, pistachios, dried cherries, spiced braised chicken. We wanted more of a chill atmosphere so we sat in one of the booths at the bar and the bartender, Victor, was very friendly and knew extensive knowledge about the menu and the drinks, I get pretty nervous at restaurants because I have several allergies but Victor made me feel very comfortable with his knowing of the menu plus they even have a separate allergy menu which should be in every restaurant imo !!We let him build a small menu and though it wasn't much, it was very filling the bread is what gets you. I hate to write one star reviews, but Zaytinya was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had all the way around. I came here over a month ago for my birthday, and I left very disappointed. What I hated the most was to spend almost $300 on a very mediocre meal. From what I've heard in restaurant news, Zaytinya is suppose to be a similar dining experience to Bazaar Meat by José Andrés at the Sahara. But sadly, I can tell you firsthand that Zaytinya is nowhere close to Bazaar Meats. Not even close! I can tell by the service alone that they were trying way too hard to impress their first guests. And unfortunately, by doing that they ruined the whole experience for me and my husband. First off, a server doesn't need to tell their customers to leave a review. I see that as very unprofessional and if a guest wants to leave a review, they will decide if they want to do that. The way the menu is laid out is tapas style, and I can tell you that's not a good idea for mediterranean style food. I ordered an array of food that was recommended by my very eager waitress and those weren't good choices. Even though my waitress was friendly, I seen her and the water person, the bread person and the food runner and the busser come to my table every 5 to 10 minutes within the hour that I was there, and it was very disruptive. As I was trying to enjoy a date night with my husband. I was not able to relax because of the constant interruption. But I would say the worst part of my meal was the food. Almost everything that was ordered was poorly executed, especially the meat and seafood dish we had as our main course. My husband ordered some type of steak and it was supposed to be done, medium, but sadly it was well done and because of it, was very tough and hard to eat. And sadly, it also lacked flavor. I ordered a side of shrimp and a garlic sauce and I can't believe that they did not cook the shrimp all the way it tasted horrible so I only ate about two and left the rest. Aside from the meat dishes, we ordered Tzatziki and a side of hummus, and it did not taste any better than your corner Greek restaurant in town. We also had the smoked beet salad and the falafel and dolmades and there was nothing special about it. I can tell you I've definitely had better elsewhere. I think the only thing I liked was the spanakopita which is a spinach and cheese wrapped in phyllo dough. My only advice to anyone that's going to pay almost $300 for a meal for a special occasion, is to make sure you do your foodie homework before making reservations. I've been to plenty five star restaurants in fabulous Las Vegas and I promise you Zaytinya is not one of them. I hate to say this, but I don't see Zaytinya staying open for long because people will realize it's just overpriced Mediterranean food. Friends, do yourself a favor and don't believe all the hype. Despite Zaytinya just opening when we went, the service was very attentive (though we had to wait at the host stand for a few minutes before anyone even acknowledged us). Our food was incredible and our server was so nice and accommodating to our toddler. By far our favorite place for my birthday week! The lighting was very romantic and the vibe was laid back. There was a lot of choices on the menu and it was tough to choose just a few that we knew we could fit in our stomachs. We started with the baba ganoush, crispy vegetables, and fatoush salad. We ended up coming here because the Zaytinya in Culver was closed temporarily during this period of time and we wanted to check it out. Made a reservation online in advance for 5 and we had a very leisurely dinner. We ordered the smoked beet salata, zatar pide, Zaytinya fries, whole fish, and kebab platter. We definitely over ordered and I think choosing either the whole fish or the kebab platter would be the right move. Both were delicious but I would lean more towards the kebab platter for the variety in meats and sauces. We tried the scallops too, which came in 3, plus the spanokopita which came in a long, thin piece. We had the hummus kuwarma to start as well, which was essentially the regular hummus with lamb mixed in. We ended with two desserts, the olive oil cake and the Turkish coffee chocolate cake. I preferred the olive oil cake but of course both were delicious. Our server was super friendly and very personable. The decor was bright and complementary to the Mediterranean cuisine. Beautiful new restaurant in Las Vegas. I went to go visit on my birthday before the Fourth of July holiday. I found the service to be so pleasant and welcoming as we came in and checked at the host station. Our server was so accommodating and lovely. We got there an hour early for happy hour, which included small plates and some drink options and great pricing. The place is modern, warm, comfortable, and wonderfully thought out. I often judge restaurants on the restroom , I know a little weird, but hey, it's a thing. The restroom is super cool design, lighting is key and clean. The restaurant's menu is set up by small plates along with some entrées and the drinks are beautifully crafted. I enjoyed my margarita very much and the puffed pita is super nice innovated presentation. The fried eggplant was a particular favorite. Very, very good. My sister and her husband ordered the sea bass as their main. They enjoyed it very much. It was an $85 fish dish. They said it was very good. My partner and I ordered the celebration rice with smoked mushrooms and two orders of shish taouk for our mains. These two items were very disappointing and the reason this is not a 5-star review. The rice was disappointing and the chicken was bland. Totally bummer.
