Mediterranean Style Filet + Spicy Cabbage Roll
    Jeffrey M.

Uniquely prepared Mediterranean style Filet on a charcoal grill and seared all over with a unique blend of spices!! Freshly made pita and hummus for the appetizer was nice, but the filet was definitely the unique highlight

This was a wonderful surprise. I expect great things from a Mina place but honestly, I haven't heard much about Orla since it opened. Now I know! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The room is gorgeous. The lighting is perfect and the design is modern, on theme without being "theme-y" and just very pretty[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The music was not too loud and we could easily carry on a conversation.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Tables are also comfortable and you aren't sitting right on top of your neighbor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is truly a welcoming dining room and it's unfortunately not the norm in Vegas right now.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were greeted with a glass of bubbly shortly after being shown to our table, which was such a nice touch. I assume that is because I'm an MGM Platinum member, and I just love when they do that! Service was perfect throughout, with managers dropping by to ask how things were and even offering an amuse-bouche. Fantastic! We started with zucchini fritters, which were very good. But the show stopper of course is the Pan Fried Cheese, which is not only quite a show, but is absolutely delicious. You simply must get this. I ordered simply, getting the Baked Macaroni. And I am not lying when I say everyone at the table was fighting over my dish... it was excellent. I recommend you get one of these to share with the table because everyone will want some. My partner had the shortrib, which he liked but it had maybe more bone marrow than shortrib, and he isn't a fan of the marrow. Next time he'll get the steak or the lobster spaghetti. Our friend had the lamb chops, which he devoured. This was a lovely meal. Highly recommend. Can't wait to come back.

We had reservations and showed up 15 min early and hoped to be seated early. The hostess said, We seat on time. You can grab a seat at the bar if you want. It wasn't the most friendly of greetings but we were okay because we knew we were early. The restaurant was super busy and very noisy. They had a big convention there for veteranarians. If we had known this, we wouldn't have made a reservation. Regardless though, I think this restaurant is just always busy according to other reviews. It was a lot busier than the other restaurants in Mandalay Bay. We weren't able to find seats at the bar so we went to the Rif and Rythhm bar for a drink and then came back for our reservation time. Our waiter seemed very rushed. Said hello and gave us a really brief overview of the menu. We weren't able surprised none of the entrees really come with sides except for fries. We decided on the hummus and Greek salad. The Greek salad was pretty good but small. The hummus was watery. My boyfriend said watery hummus is really bad for a Greek restaurant. We then ordered the lamb to share which came with a small amount of fries and a side of the grilled mushrooms. The lamb came in 4 little meat portions and was not great. I had a hard time eating just one. It was charred on the outside like burnt and and then red in the middle. We asked for medium done. Our waiter never gave us our food, other people did and they honestly just set it down and left. Everyone was rushed and chaotic and it was so loud. It was not a great atmosphere. We were greeted by the wine sommelier, which we were like okay hi. I already knew I wanted the $20 wine from Sonoma since that's where I grew up. Most of the wines were over $100 for a glass which is ridiculous, they should have more variety for different types of customers. We also were asked by the restaurant manager how things were going and we lied and said great. We had to wait 30 minutes just for the watery hummus. We felt overall like we were snubbed because we were a smaller group, just us two instead of a huge convention party. This restaurant was such a disappointment.

Food: As expected, overpriced with mediocre flavors Service: unsure reason for 25 minute for the food to arrive when place was not as busy. Ambience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Typical high end dining in strip casino[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is beautiful, polished and lively without feeling the least bit pretentious. It has that upscale energy where you feel like you should sit up a little straighter... but you're still comfortable settling in for the night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff was excellent, friendly, attentive, and clearly knew what they were doing. And the food? Everything was good. Honestly, we kept waiting for that one dish that makes you say "well... that one was just okay." It never arrived. Apparently, the weak link took the night off. All around, a really enjoyable dinner and definitely a place we'd happily come back to.

    Gorgeous spanakopita !
    Susan S.

Located in Mandalay Bay very busy Mediterranean restaurant the spanakopita is delicious very flaky dough, generous amount of cheese and savory spices. The spinach is fresh and savory. The spices are wonderful. I give it four stars at least.. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was very busy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The sound level was medium to high people really enjoying the food and the atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This appetizer is absolutely delicious.

We ordered 4 small plates: prawn, octopus, greek salad and a pita bread with hummus. Every dish was exceptionally good. the cocktails were awesome as well. Ares is my favorite with strong wood scent.

I love trying new restaurants & Orla was a perfect match. My friend is allergic to garlic & the chef was up to the challenge . Our server Adam was very knowledgeable & great stories! From apps to dessert everything was delicious! I will have to come again & try the other options as well. I went w the swordfish which was Delightful and soft. Great light sauce which was Greek style. The Orla salad was light and not drowning in dressing . The martini i enjoyed was the Turkish espresso martini! It was well balanced and I could have had several more !! Bronzino was light & melts in your mouth & this is without garlic my friend has a food allergy. I will say my birthday cheesecake was amazing w the pineapple sauce and bites!

Orla at the Mandalay Bay is a Michael Mina restaurant and in my experience, Chef Mina spots always slap. Orla has classy Mediterranean vibes with charcoal-roasting leading the way on his delicious recipes. I didn't dip and dive too much into the menu but what I did have was wonderful. The Macaroni Bechamel is a high end mac-n-cheese with a black truffle upgrade, parmigiano reggiano and mushroom duxelles, and a lovely bechamel sauce spread around the pasta dish. The noodles are perfectly lined up like a forest of trees giving this standard dish an aesthetic glow-up, as well. Loved it! Getting my greens in (kinda), the Zucchini Fritters did not disappoint either. Very lightly battered with dill and meyer lemon seasoning, it had an accompanying tzatziki dip elevating the eating experience of this veggie a bit. Again, loved it! The staff at Orla was great and I truly loved the dishes I had. I would absolutely pop in again & highly recommend the Macaroni and Zucchini Fritters!

Jeff made a most recent at Orla phenomenal. We enjoyed the Orla Experience and wine tasting. It was actually the perfect amount of food last night. While we did leave a little on the table, we left feeling satisfied but not overly stuffed. The star of the show last night though was the interesting and perfect wine pairings. Jeff told us the history of the wine houses, details of the regions, and tasting notes for each pairing. It felt like we were eating a gourmet meal at a wine dinner with an expert som. Fabulous experience! This is one of the more affordable spots in Vegas, especially when you consider the high quality of healthy food you will enjoy. Now add in the fact that it is brought to you by one of the best chefs in the world and you absolutely must visit Orla!

If you're in the search for a magnificent dining experience, look no further. Orla provides it all, from the beautiful decor to service, you will not be disappointed. We ordered the following dishes, -Katafi Prawns. The prawns were flavorful and fried to perfection. paired with a tasty mango sauce. -breads spreads and pickles. This came with 3 types of bread (pita, brioche and a 3rd I forget but resembles a soft sourdough with sesame) The breads are paired with a yogurt, baba ghanoush, and olive oil dip. Each were decadent! -kebab platter. The platter featured 3 meats (lamb meatball, chicken, filet mignon), your choice of sweet yam or basmati rice, roasted peppers, and paired with a sauce of your choice (tomato red pepper/chermoula) All 3 meats were cooked to perfection, seasoned well and tender. -Arugula Pesto Rigatoni. This pasta dish was paired with 3 grilled prawns that were as tasty as the katafi prawns. Also, would like to give a shoutout to Priyanka and Stephanie for providing outstanding service!

This was my last food stop while I was at my work conference. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It has a very approachable slightly upscale vibe that was nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The bartender quickly gave me some stories to take home with me and left me smiling. The food was unique and tasty. I got the Lamb Kofta "Pops" and the Slow Braised Wagyu Beef Shortrib chickpea & orzo koshary roasted bone marrow. They were both phenomenal. I still am thinking about the scoops of bone marrow with that short rib. I apologize in advance as my photos were misbehaving that day so I only got a couple, but I definitely would go there to check out more of their menu. Cheers!

The six-course meal was absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was flavorful, beautifully prepared, and delicious. I especially loved that parts of the dining experience were interactive, it made the evening feel even more special and immersive. The ambiance was perfection. The warm red glow, gorgeous decor, and thoughtfully dim lighting created an elegant, intimate atmosphere without making it difficult to see. Every detail made it feel like I had been transported somewhere truly special. The live entertainment was the perfect finishing touch. The belly dancers were incredibly talented and added so much energy and authenticity to the evening. Combined with the music, it created an experience that was about so much more than just dinner. One of my favorite moments happened as soon as I was seated, when my hands were ceremonially washed. It was such a unique and welcoming touch that set the tone for the rest of the night. Our server was outstanding. Once he learned it was my first time visiting, he made sure I felt welcomed and took great care of us throughout the entire evening. The service was attentive without ever feeling intrusive. From the moment I arrived until the moment I left, everything was flawless. Marrakech isn't just a restaurant, it's an experience. If I could give it more than five stars, I absolutely would. I can't wait to return!

I've had Greek food that was more flavorful. Greek food tends to be a bit pricier than others so I have a higher standard. I can brag on a few things. The restaurant was very clean and cute. I loved that they had TVs and we could watch the World Cup game that was on. You order your food up front, pay, grab your drink, and then sit down with your number. They bring the food out to your table. I love the CocaCola freestyle machines. Unfortunately this one didn't have any diet or zero options other than Aha sparkling water. That was a bit disappointing. They do have canned Diet Coke along with some interesting Greek drinks in a refrigerator. I ordered the gyro plate and my son got the falafel gyro. We both got the feta fries. These are really delicious. There was so much feta and herbs on the crispy, coated fries. My portion was great on my gyro plate. The salad was pretty but the Greek dressing was very mild and lacking in flavor for me. The same with my gyro meat. It was just okay. When you mix beef and lamb, it creates this delicious flavor and I just didn't get that here. The tzatziki was very bland to me. It was almost just straight yogurt. My son's falafel pita was very good. It was soft in the inside with the slight crisp on the outside. It was a large size pita and filled up my teenage boy. The desserts sounded delicious and the baklava in the case next to the registers were phenomenal looking. We didn't make it that far to get to have dessert. Since my son loved it so much, we will be back. I will try a different plate next time and hopefully be able to get dessert also.

This review is for Las Vegas Restaurant Week…read more This restaurant week set meal was truly amazing. It's been a long time since I've been wowed by a restaurant. I highly recommend everyone try their lunch. The price is incredibly reasonable, and the food quality is top-notch! For an appetizer, a whole fish entree, and a dessert, the Restaurant Week special is only 40 bucks! Even if you can't make it out to taste the food during Restaurant Week, their usual lunch prix fixe (with the same dishes) is only 45 bucks. Compared to the Mayfair Supper Club I just went to, this place handles their fish remarkably well. It perfectly retained the tenderness and juiciness of the fish, and the skin and edges had a bit of charred, fire-roasted aroma. It left me thinking with great satisfaction: this is exactly how fish should be prepared--simple! The octopus appetizer was also incredibly tender with absolutely no fishy taste. The kitchen's grilling technique and heat control are just exceptionally well-handled. I also quite liked their dessert, Greek yogurt and candied orange peel. I think using orange peel has an advantage: even though it's been candied, it still retains the natural bitterness of the peel, so it's not overly sweet. Speaking of olive oil, the olive oil at this place deserves a shout-out too. It has a very strong grassy aroma and a distinct, pleasant bitterness with a sweet aftertaste. We also added an order of their signature appetizer, which is thinly sliced zucchini and eggplant fried and stacked into a tower. It was seriously so crispy and delicious!!! And very eye-catching! This dish is great for sharing, though it did get a little greasy toward the end, since it is fried after all. This single appetizer costs a whopping 41 bucks! It's even more expensive than the Restaurant Week set menu! But it's super eye-catching and tastes great! Oh well, let them have my money.
