Chickpeas in on the corner of Jones and flamingo is an absolute delight. The buffet offer so many favorites, fresh and plentiful. I really enjoyed the lamb shank, the lentil soup and the fresh tzatziki sauce. Weekends are slightly higher, but well worth the money which you pay for this meal anywhere else. Strongly recommend.

If you want to taste a bunch of Mediterranean dishes, teas and desserts, then the weekday lunch buffet is your best bet. It also includes one serving of a HUGE LAMB SHANK and that makes it worth the price of the $20 weekday lunch buffet! Lots of proteins, salads and rice choices. Best part is that the majority of the dishes are NOT spicy but flavorful and not garlic heavy. One can see the dill and other spices in their dishes. The lentil soup was the spiciest dish for me. I liked the large sized plates, too. Walk up to the counter/cashier and order FIRST. Friendly workers. Clean kitchen and buffet area. Lots of hand sanitizer. Lots of parking. I think the owner was sitting near us. Guy Fieri has stopped in for a past visit. They also have a quick buffet take-out/one trip plate sold by weight. The ala carte bowls/plates are all under $20. A great quick, clean and easy place for great Mediterranean food.

Tried this Mediterranean buffet recently. They have two locations, but the Rainbow one was closed, so we ended up going to their Flamingo location. The place is halal and has a cozy vibe, though it's quite small with limited seating. The food was just okay overall. The variety was pretty limited, and it seemed like only one lady was managing everything, which might explain the slower service and lack of options. The BBQ-style chicken was probably the highlight for me--it had good flavor. However, the rice was dry, and there weren't many salad choices. Desserts were disappointing. They felt dry, and the baklava was overly sweet and too syrupy. Overall, it didn't quite meet expectations. I've definitely had much better Mediterranean food elsewhere, so this one wasn't a favorite for me.

Yet another place my husband found on YouTube. We had to drive across town. Parking was available and free. The place is very small without a lot of seating. You can sit outside if weather permits. We were seated without waiting after paying about $22 a person. It wasn't too busy at about 2 pm. The buffet was not a long one. Some of the items were gone and didn't refill. Our timing was obviously off. I didn't know what some of the items were because they weren't marked. Most of the dishes I tried didn't taste very good. Each person could get 2 desserts. The most memorable dishes were a creamy chicken soup and the rice pudding. I didn't care for the baklava sadly because I love it. The drinks left a lot to be desired. The staff were nice enough and our dishes were cleared. Overall there wasn't much here to warrant more than a two star rating. We have been to Indian buffets that cost less and the food is better.

The buffet here is very reasonably priced and they have quite a variety of items to choose from. I enjoyed the buffet, but in all fairness I feel I need to point out a couple of shortcomings. One of the leading items in the buffet is their lamb shanks, which are limited to one to a customer. I enjoy lamb, but unfortunately, I thought this lamb shank was of poor quality. The meat was tough and it was quite tasteless. They also offered shrimps with cocktail sauce, which looked quite tempting, but they turned out to be quite rubbery and not very appetizing. That being said, there were many other items in the buffet that I really enjoyed. I particularly liked the meatballs. They are served in a delicious mediterranean style sauce. As in just about any buffet, it pays to be choosy and go for the items you like most.

For an AYCE place, I'll say it's a good value considering what is offered and the taste of the food. There are many options from salads, meats to sweets. You can get the big lamb shank once, all items are AYCE. Lemonade and teas are included in the buffet. You go to the counter to pay first, then find your own seats and pick a plate to pick the food. They come by from time to time to clean up your dirty plates. For the food, I will say it's fair. Most of the items are a little bit too salty. Some items, especially meats and foshes are a little bit old to me when I went. It's an eatery type local place, nothing fancy.

Excellent Experience -- A Hidden Gem in Las Vegas!!! They are located only a couple of miles from the Strip at the corner of the W Flamingo Rd./ S Jones Blvd. They offer all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant with a wide variety of delicious Mediterranean, Indian, and Iranian dishes. The food is fresh and delicious. Literally they have 30 options that you can choose from : kebabs, wraps , salads, pizzas , bowls, plates , they offer from savory foods to sweets dishes and they do have Halal options for meat and they do have seafood as well. This place is absolutely incredible ,both the buffet and the takeaway options are excellent . The quality and taste of the food are way above expectations, especially considering how affordable the prices are. For only $20 bucks all you can eat Mediterranean food is just outstanding. It honestly feels like you're getting luxury-level food for a fraction of the cost. They have inside and outside seating area .The ambience is casual and relaxed, very comfortable chairs. It is located in a shopping plaza with a large parking area. The staff are polite, respectful, and genuinely welcoming ,they make you feel at home from the moment you walk in. That kind of hospitality makes a huge difference, which is very rare and very hard to get in Vegas. If you are looking for a really friendly budget Buffet place for Mediterranean food in Las Vegas this is a must stop and you will not be disappointed. We highly recommend it!!!

Was my mom's plate a little bit of this little bit of that from the buffet

This place is such a hidden gem! It's small family owned authentic delicious Mediterranean food very reasonably priced. You cannot be there lunch buffet. My mom and I like to come here for lunch every so often. Every single thing I've tried on their buffet line is so delicious. Everything is super fresh season perfectly and cooked to perfection as well. The food is not hiding in a sugary, salty sauce to mask the pork quality. The fruits, vegetables and proteins are all top-notch. If you come at lunchtime, the small dining room can get very busy and the tables are set up so you may end up sharing a table with somebody you don't know my mom and I have that happened to us today which we were OK with it but if you're not, this might not be a spot for you at prime lunchtime. You can however, get food to go if that's not your jam. Something I had today that I have not seen on their menu before was the turkey cheese pastry wrap oh my goodness out of this world! This is our favorite Mediterranean spot for casual delicious food in Las Vegas!

I'll start with I didn't enjoy much for the $25.00 buffet. Everything I saw on Yelp said $20 but Fri-Sun is $25. I enjoyed the dolmas, the hummus was delicious, & the pita was decent... and 1 of chicken dishes grilled was delicious too. The thing they put out called falafels were definitely NOT falafel, it was like a vegetable fritter (disappointed). The desserts were DRENCHED in rosewater. I would much rather pay more for better food.

Friend brought me here that offers Mediterranean and Indian cuisine. Thought that was an odd combination but also curious to try. It was on a weekend. There were a number of tables available so we were quickly seated. You have an option to go a la carte or buffet. We went for the buffet to try everything they had and there was plenty. Started off with the tabuleh, baba ghanoush and hummus. They have plenty of choices of chicken from chopped tandoori to butter chicken. As part of the buffet, you can get 1 lamb shank per person. The lam shank was tender and juicy. In addition, there were a number of seafood dishes... salmon, white fish and mussels. For desserts, they have baklava and cream puffs. Buffet comes with free lemonade, ice team and coffee. Given the quality to value, it was very good. For Sunday, it was $25 per person. Staff were friendly. Place need a little updating.

I love the idea of being taken to the buffet via shuttle.. if only it were a good buffet
L2 L.

I came here a little before noon for the lunch buffet.. the space is bright, and there seems to be a lot of tables jammed into a small space. The staff were not welcoming or particularly friendly, but they weren't rude either. There's not really much explanation about how the buffet works, and i ended up bussing my own table.. They have a large variety of dishes to choose from on the buffet: too large. Nothing really tasted fresh, and the staff were too busy working on the takeout orders to care/notice what food was sitting at the buffet/for how long. The beverage selection includes water, unsweetened tea and lemonade with a Motel 6-style plastic cup to consume it. No ice. Ugh! I love ice Nonetheless, the lemonade was quite tangy, and i didn't try the tea. They also have a selection of hot teas, but I'm not sure how those would hold up in the bathroom cups, so i skipped it. The food tasted old. I personally love a good tzatziki, and there's was about 5 minutes away from being too sour to eat. The hummus was bland and forgettable. The tabbouleh was decent, but not worth $22 by itself . They promised they'dout more pita bread, but if they did, to they never told me about it The butter chicken was decent. I know things might have been good if they were made fresh, but stale/sour/old Mediterranean food sitting on the line is my my idea of a good time. I tried the chicken, barley, mushroom soup despite the fact that it was all separated and sad looking. It lived up to its appearance. I wasted my appetite on this place, but the nice, open kitchen, Stash tea bags (even though i couldn't find the cup to pour it in) and reasonably clean bathroom give it an extra star. Skip it anyway

I am excited to eat here cause my daughter likes Mediterranean food. But it turned out she doesn't like the taste and so do i , the foods are dry , limited food, there's no chicken or beef kabob, the lady is cooking for too long, some tray are empty, i usually give tip but i regret giving it to this one for $10 they're nice but not accommodating the place is not what i expected to be, the price is high for me i drove all the way to the other side of town thinking its a great choice to come here. We came here at 4pm and we end up living 4:20pm I think this is the first and the last.

Ask the Community - Chickpeas Mediterranean Cafe

Hello, Is all meat Zabiha halal? Can you tell me where do you get your meat supply from?…

Hi, Restaurant depot.

Hi there, is the food Halal?

I don't think so. Probably best to call them and ask. I don't remember seeing Halal posted. Folks usually advertise that.

Are there any peanut concerns on the buffet?

Avoid hummus as the tahini may have peanuts. Our salad dressing has soy sauce in it if that is a concern

Does the buffet actually start at 9:00am?

Hi, and thanks for asking. We are open from 9 am for orders but Min.- Thurs. the Buffet starts at 11 am and goes to 9 pm. Fri, Sat. and Sunday it starts from 10 am to 9 pm

Hello. Do you have Halal certificates. ? Saw you on DDD. Husband and I are coming in a couple of weeks. Would love to try your food. Let us know. Sincerely, Debbie

Yes, an Imam has certified our meats.

Hi. Will couscous be available in the future?

That would be a question to directly ask the restaurant themselves. This is a forum to learn of other people's experiences.

No more sabzi?

When do u need it for

Are the meat kosher/halal?

They're Halal. Unfortunately, we dont have kosher certification...

Is this restaurant 100% halal certified?

Hi Amber. We are not certified but the meats are.

On the day I came in, it seems to be a more expensive day - $100, around $15 more expensive. I think there may be more unique food options. It's definitely a pretty spacious place and I like how it's decorated. I've never been to Wynn before, so I wasn't quite sure what's the difference between a special day vs their normal day. They have a pretty decent selection of food. And I was interesting to try as many things that interested me as possible. Though in hindsight, that did fill me up quick. And because of that, I don't think I got my money's worth. If I was to come back, I would definitely instead eat as much of the crab legs as possible. Their crab legs comes in cold and warm. The warm tasted much better to me! Lobster is my favorite seafood, but I saw they also had lobster claws, but i was disappointed in that as I felt like it didn't have much taste. They also have a decent selection of desserts, including made to order crepes and smores. I enjoyed the smores, but the crepes was also a bit lackluster for me. The crepes came with several flavors, and I chose the mango passionfruit mousse. I liked the mousse itself! My favorite part of desserts was their ice cream wheel.

But, I wasn't interested as I pre-emptively took my gout medicine, so that I could eat more of my favorite gout inducing foods. They had a wonderful selection of desserts, most made with sugar and some sugar free. The gelato was yummy. Service was great from the time we checked in to the time we left. We paid for our dinner at the time we made reservations. Our server was good. She made sure our plates were cleared and cups were filled. The last time we visited the buffet, we waited in line for almost 2 hours and had to speed eat after being seated as it was close to closing time. I'm glad things changed. Reservations opened up and were made 30 days ahead of the day of our visit. They still had a line, but, with reservations, we went straight in. I enjoyed the Wynn buffet. I liked that they now take reservations. I would definitely come back.

At the time we went, brunch was $54.99 per person, and we paid around $124 total for the two of us. Considering it's Las Vegas and during a holiday, I'd say the price felt reasonable for the variety offered. The buffet had a wide selection of food. They had all the brunch basics like eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, waffles, and an omelet station where they cook it fresh. There were also plenty of lunch options including pasta, pizza, roasted meats, and a carving station with prime rib. What I liked most was the variety--they also had sushi, a salad bar, fresh fruits, and a seafood section with shrimp, oysters, salmon, and other options. For drinks, they offered coffee, tea, and juice, which was convenient. And of course, there were lots of desserts like cakes, pastries, gelato, and mini sweets. The atmosphere felt more festive since it was New Year's Day. It was a bit busy, but still organized, and the place has that elegant Bellagio vibe without feeling too overwhelming. Personally, I didn't eat as much as I wanted because I wasn't feeling well that day and didn't have much of an appetite (as I've mentioned in my past videos), but my husband really enjoyed the food, so that made the experience worth it for us. Overall, if you're in Vegas during the holidays and want a place with a lot of options in one spot, this is a good choice. Just come hungry to really make the most out of it!

Wasn't sure what I was expecting when she said oyster bar, but it was not what I was expecting. . It was a cool vibe and one of the first things that stood out that she was surprised about was that there was no line. My friend said it's the first time she's been there and there was not a line. Treated her to dinner after letting crash at her place with less than 24 hrs notice. We were there on a Tuesday evening everything that we did this day appeared to be a light crowd day. Tuesday's is the day to go hang out in Vegas if you want shorter lines. I ordered the gumbo with only shrimp as the protein with the okra. It was yummy. I enjoyed it. The gravy was nice. I ended up with two bowls of white rice, which is not typically my choice. However, it was. It was great in there with the gravy and okra and I got the lowest spice level I could which was one so everything was pretty cool there large portions lots of shrimp. I cut my shrimp in half cause I like my things bite-size I have a very small mouth and I was laughing because they gave me a really large spoon which is too big for my mouth so I use my fork that came with a napkin. My friend ordered the BOUILLABAISSE. She powered through it quickly, so I think it was pretty tasty for her too. Three things that got my attention. 1. I enjoyed seeing them prepare our meal right there in front of us how efficient and clean and things were so that was great and it was a bit of a show. 2. They served me water with ice. I don't necessarily appreciate that. I don't like ice in my water and I would prefer them to ask me what I'd like to drink before just serving me something, there may be however, how they do it at bars I don't go to a lot of bars. I'm also sensitive because I have bladder disorder and cold things set off my bladder. 3. I didn't care for the dynamics and exchange that felt off when trying to pay with my tap from my phone. I had to literally give him the phone to do the payment and I feel like that's a little bit of a disconnect the purpose of my mind of doing my tap is so that I don't have to give you my card or my phone so I feel like that's something that's gotta be a little bit more efficient for them to work on especially how busy they are and you know the amount of traffic that takes place in a bar. I love the look and the set up. It felt really cool. It didn't feel like we were sitting in the middle of a casino although we were. I loved seeing them prepare the food from start to finish. That was also really great. I would definitely go there again if I'm in town and we're in the mood for that type of food it had the New Orleans, Louisiana flavor vide to theme to me and really clean. On that note so are the bathrooms. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the cleanliness and the speed to get in and out of the bathrooms. I'm always gonna give a review on the bathrooms cause they're very important to me as I do have bladder disorder. I hope you all find this read helpful.
