Came in here not really knowing what to expect since I've never tried this cuisine before. They let me try a sample platter with a little bit of each item. I was hoping to really love it, but overall, it was just alright. I enjoyed the corned beef and the noodle items the most. The sausage and curry were rather bland, and I didn't like the taro at all. Hopefully they make some adjustments so I will come in to continue supporting them, but ultimately if this is their traditional taste, I can't expect them to make changes. read more

Let's start by saying, the owners Reena and her sweetheart of a hubs, and her children are a lovely family. Her and her husband are the sweetest. Service: 10/10 Top Tier Food: 10/10 Delicious Ambiance: 10/10 Clean, well put together and cute little family spot I love coming here because you are always greeted with a hello and a smile. Customer service is Top Tier. You always feel welcome at Le Umu. The restaurant is always clean and they take great care in food preparation and presentation. Food: 10/10 Top Tier all the time. Freshly made, great flavors, (they season and yes it smells delish) and they give you large portions. You get plenty of food and it's great food. The moon pies and meat pies are a must try. So good! Let me emphasize! The food is yummy and always hits the spot! Owners: 20/20 They are always so kind, thoughtful and nice to everyone. Keep this in mind because dad is always outside when he's at the restaurant saying hello to everyone. Reena manages that kitchen with efficiency. Her troops know their stuff. Wasnt too hungry as we had ate breakfast at hotel at 9am-9:30am. Got to LeUmu at 10:30am to wait for their door to open, thinking we were grabbing food for the road trip back home, we last minute decided to sit down & eat, we ate it all. AND then got back up to order more plates for the road. They have seating inside & outside, music playing. read more

I love this place! Just arrived to Vegas looking for Island food and Le Umu popped up and it's only a few minutes from our Resort. Bought kalo, cornbeef, oka, turkey tails and more...everything tasted so good I went back the next day! Every time I visit Vegas I always make sure to stop by before I head back to California. Their food is worth the wait and their service is always friendly. I must stress that you've got to get there as soon as they open because their food goes quick and the line gets long. It's a small space so it will get crowded inside. However I'll wait in any line for their food. read more

This little kitchen serves the best Samoan food in southern Nevada. This is a family owned and operated business. They work hard to prep all food from scratch, and they hands down, know how to cook and give great customer service! When you walk in, it's a quaint little kitchen, buffet style. Employees serve your food with the quantity you request. You have three containers to choose from. To-go box, 16oz or 32oz cups with kids. Food is weighed in pounds and you can load up as much or as little as you want. Once you order your hot foods, you can continue in line to the pastries. I have never met anyone who can make pagipopo as delicious as Le Umu AND you can even order ahead of time for pickup! This little kitchen is really adorable and the vibe is full of nothing but sincerity and kind people, Samoan music playing in the background really adds a sense of homieness I highly recommend anyone interested in Samoan food, to check them out. Love this Samoan Restaurant. Every dish reminded me of Samoan. Style umu and home cooking. Missed this very much. Wish we had one in Tampa. Service was great and owners are very friendly. Great service and so happy I got to try Samoan food for the first time! Brought back memories of high school. The girls at the counter were really sweet and walked me through what they had left and what each dish was. I got the corned beef, side of cabbage, sausage, fish curry and coconut buns. My favorite was probably the coconut buns and loved the unique flavors of the sausage and curry. read more

My rating is majority for the service. Samoan food is hard to come by so when visiting Vegas, we always stop by. However, today the hours of operation is 11-4. I arrived at 1p and it was sold out. Majority of the days I see online, it's sold out before the end of day operations. I understand this can happen, but I believe a business should prep to be opened throughout the full hours. read more

Today was the 1st time eating here and I have to say as a Polynesian who loves to support family businesses, Le Umu gave me the satisfaction for fulfilling all my cravings for Island food. The 1st time customer service provided reminded me of how our culture and custom leads with love, kindness and is welcoming to those we serve and Le Umu provided all those traits. I giving only 3 because it is certainly "island time" so though it says 11am, they may get there at 12, and they will change time according to their schedule not whats posted. People wait out in the hot sun to support and take part but its evident their is a disconnect with service. If you only want moon pie, you have to stand in line behind everyone else whos getting food. Strange rule, in this day and age, especially since some people only want food, not pies, yet I have to wait behind them buying 4 plates. Get there early. By the time we got there, about 12pm, most of their popular dishes were gone. But what we were able to get our hands on were really good. Everything was made to perfection, and that pineapple pie was the perfect way to finish. The service was also amazing and the interior was nice and clean. read more

It was great in there with the gravy and okra and I got the lowest spice level I could which was one so everything was pretty cool there large portions lots of shrimp. I cut my shrimp in half cause I like my things bite-size I have a very small mouth and I was laughing because they gave me a really large spoon which is too big for my mouth so I use my fork that came with a napkin. My friend ordered the BOUILLABAISSE. She powered through it quickly, so I think it was pretty tasty for her too. Three things that got my attention. 1. I enjoyed seeing them prepare our meal right there in front of us how efficient and clean and things were so that was great and it was a bit of a show. 2. They served me water with ice. I don't necessarily appreciate that. I don't like ice in my water and I would prefer them to ask me what I'd like to drink before just serving me something, there may be however, how they do it at bars I don't go to a lot of bars. I'm also sensitive because I have bladder disorder and cold things set off my bladder. 3. I didn't care for the dynamics and exchange that felt off when trying to pay with my tap from my phone. I had to literally give him the phone to do the payment and I feel like that's a little bit of a disconnect the purpose of my mind of doing my tap is so that I don't have to give you my card or my phone so I feel like that's something that's gotta be a little bit more efficient for them to work on especially how busy they are and you know the amount of traffic that takes place in a bar. I love the look and the set up. It felt really cool. It didn't feel like we were sitting in the middle of a casino although we were. I loved seeing them prepare the food from start to finish. That was also really great. I would definitely go there again if I'm in town and we're in the mood for that type of food it had the New Orleans, Louisiana flavor vide to theme to me and really clean. On that note so are the bathrooms. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the cleanliness and the speed to get in and out of the bathrooms. I'm always gonna give a review on the bathrooms cause they're very important to me as I do have bladder disorder. I hope you all find this read helpful.

Then list all dinner items. Breakfast should be separate as well. Why not have only 1 page for salads instead of 2? The menu is extensive and complex.
