    Crab legs
    Gail Q.

The crab legs were fresh, perfectly cooked, and definitely the highlight. What really stood out was the friendly service, the staff were especially kind and attentive to my 7-year-old son, which made our visit even better!

Came here recently on a Wednesday morning for their daily BRUNCH offering from 9A - 2P. Didn't really eat much of the brunch offerings but DEFINITELY went ham (no pun intended) on the STEAMED SNOW CRAB (whole legs) along with de-shelled cocktail shrimp. Had picked up a small piece of a NY strip steak at one of the stations. Super overcooked unfortunately, probably from the heated station. The bacon i had got was SUPER crispy (yum). The STEAMED SNOW CRAB was really good. Pretty easy to remove most of the meat in the body and leg. Even though its NOT self serve, the servers do NOT skimp on how much they give you. Sometimes you actually have to tell them to stop ! Every table has a bucket, for all the shells. They also give all the tools needed for eating crab without asking, which is nice. Definitely ate as much snow crab as i could, despite it being 11am LOL. Probably the most reasonably priced buffet ($42.99/person for brunch daily, $46.99 for dinner on Mon, Tues, Sat, Sun, $52.99 for prime rib & snow crab dinner on Fri), for good quality snow crabs. Yeah its not king crabs but at least these snow crabs aren't small or pre-cut. Not a fan of pre-cut crab as it dries out. Seemed like a popular place for people to eat crabs. Everyone had a mountain of legs on their table.

Everything was delicious and fresh. The crab legs had claws! Not the dinky ones with lots of effort and not a lot of meat here. Also they have a soup bucket of drawn butter if you want to go all out. Tuna poke was fresh. I added some lemon to mine. Everything tasted pretty good. Almost all the desserts tasted great and were worth the calories, not just pretty looking like at some places. (Exception the mousse below the passion fruit dessert, and the sugar free chocolate cake. Pass.)

We made our reservations on March 11 for the lobster themes night, April 2 and opted for the first dining option, 3 PM. Upon arrival, they were in the transition from the daily brunch crowd. The staff were very meticulous in wiping down the tables and chairs. Each table was set with a bucket for shells, plus a cracker. Our sole purpose was the lobster, so my husband was set on eating the cost in lobster. While the lobster was not seasoned, just steamed, they did have two butter options, regulars and spicy. The spicy was just seasoning with an assortment of herbs and not spicy. We were seated across from the lobster and crab area, so could see when they put out fresh lobsters I tried the tails and the whole lobster, as well as the snow crab legs. They also had other cuisine, BBQ, southern, sushi, salad bar and of course dessert. Our server, Kathy, was very attentive to refilling our beverages and letting us know where to find the butter!

My friend got a great brunch deal so we tried the buffet. They have a carving station and hot crab legs along with a large selection. Good experience. Wonderful wait staff. Drinks and mimosas refilled frequently. Please come and create your own adventure.

I made a reservation to check out this place since I saw so many review of it online. We happened to be in Vegas on the days that they serve lobster. They have whole lobster and lobster tails for those that doesn't like to break it apart and eat it. There were two types of butter that you can get to dip with it. But I forgo both and make my own sauce; salt, pepper and tons of lemon to dip. Sooooo good. Some of the whole lobster has eggs in there, it was pretty good. They have some good selections of variety of food here for everyone. Service was spectacular, staff was friendly and nice. They cleared the plates and refill your drinks. Would totally recommend you to try this place--at least once.

Shrimp is very good with some cocktail sauce and lemon.

The crab legs we're basically what we went for but they have so much more. This batch, they all came out very nice from the shell. We paid $52 on mother's day dinner. We only go for special occasions. Now, because of the price, but it was well worth it. They had shrimp also, and the brisket i like. Stay away from bread and mashed potatoes because that will fill you up. Wendy was our server. It didn't start out so good but she got nicer. Chef carlos was amazing. He went above and beyond for us and no, we didn't give him a hard time. We also like the gentleman from the brisket station. I think it's called smoke and fire. He is always happy to see us and is so friendly and smiling. Shame on me for not remembering his name, but he was there for mother's day dinner. I'm glad we picked here to go eat. I would go more if the price wasn't so high. It would be nice if they had 2 for 1 coupons. I would go a couple times a week. Anyway I do recommend this buffet. Everyone had a good time and the desserts are mini so you can try multiples. They even have a vegan section. They make pasta to order and pizza for the kids. The birria sopa was delicious. You should go try it if you're looking for a good buffet.

One of the worst buffets I've been to. Not a lot of variety and the food is cold. The guy at the taco area made fun of me for only wanting one taco so being uncomfortable I took two. Nothing is labeled for allergies.

One can continue to hope that the trend of food halls will reverse itself and Vegas will return to the glory days of the buffet reigning king on the strip. Until that day we will have to make do with the few buffet options there are left on the strip. The AYCE at the Palms is not as expansive as the buffet at Caesar's or the Wynn but it holds its own against these strong competitors. The lobster and crab legs are the draw here, but what stood out to me were some under the radar dishes that don't get as much attention in the buffet setting. First the Crab Rangoon was a perfect bite of sweet and savory. I would not have thought that hot honey would pair well with a Crab Rangoon but I'm glad I was mistaken. You get the crunchy breading upon the initial bite mixed with the warm and savory crab mixture, then the hot honey adds a touch of sweetness and just a hint of spice. All the different flavor profiles come together for the perfect bite. Another dish I would return for is the baked beans and cornbread combo. It seems like the AYCE has perfected the sweet and savory combination because this was another pairing that was delicious. The smoky bbq flavor of the beans and the sweet and savory cornbread quickly became a favorite of mine here. I wouldn't sleep on these great dishes even if the seafood is the main draw.

Birria ramen, waffle, and some breakfast dish

Located in the Palms casino, this is a decently priced buffet. There are warm snow crab legs, delicious birria ramen, some good breakfast dishes, and pretty decent lunch options. Their dessert bar is better than the other buffet we went to in LV, with the smores brownie being the star. Soft serve ice cream was great too. However, it is a buffet, so not every food's quality was good enough to rate 5/5. Just glad I didn't go to the pricier buffets as I feel the quality would probably be the same, just a few more options. Service was good, only thing is they ask you to pay and ask for a tip before you even get seated, which feels weird when I have no idea how good or bad the service will be. Since it is embedded in a casino, it can be a little loud depending on if there are any emcee'd events going on, but it's not difficult to hear your party at all.

The Best seafood buffett in Las Vegas!!! (Only on Wed and Thurs.) Lots of people say that Bacchanal is the best in LV. But they don't have lobster! Lots of lobster tails and whole lobsters! Hot and steamy crab legs. Regular and hot butter for you to pour over or dip in! Delicious bbq brisket and ribs. Juicy prime rib. Amazing make your own fresh seafood pasta. Lots of choices including fried chicken. Nice dessert bar that has gelato. Well worth every penny of the 80 dollar! I will return!

Saw this gem on Yelp and decided to check it out. The place is cute and well-decorated, and the wait time wasn't bad at all. We were seated pretty quickly by Emily, who--if I'm being honest--could use a little improvement in customer service. She had us follow her but never indicated which table was ours, so we somehow ended up at the napkins. After a quick redirect and fixing that hiccup, things turned around. We were greeted by our server Jason, who was the absolute sweetest and gave us great recommendations on some tasty rolls. We finished off the experience with Travis, who I might add smelled delicious. Overall, a solid visit with great food and standout service from Jason. Bring a sweater- it can get a little chilly.

Hummus, tabbouleh and vegan salsberry steak
    Adrienne B.

We went on lobster night so my husband could get seafood and because they have vegan options. It was almost 200 for both of us to eat. They had plenty of seafood but my husband didn't get a ton of it. He also liked the lobster mac and cheese and the brisket he had. I was very underwhelmed by the salad bar and the vegan options even though I really appreciate that they had them. The salsberry steak was the best thing and it was basically a veggie sausage patty with mashed potatoes. The hummus and tabbouleh were pretty flavorless, the Mexican lasagna was just vegan cheese and sauce there was no pasta. The veggie fried rice was hard and flavorless and pretty much inedible. I was hoping that they would also have vegan dessert options but there was no labeling and the staff couldn't tell me if they had any. I did find a sorbet and some churro chips. Definitely not a good value for the price.

At the time we went, brunch was $54.99 per person, and we paid around $124 total for the two of us. Considering it's Las Vegas and during a holiday, I'd say the price felt reasonable for the variety offered. The buffet had a wide selection of food. They had all the brunch basics like eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, waffles, and an omelet station where they cook it fresh. There were also plenty of lunch options including pasta, pizza, roasted meats, and a carving station with prime rib. What I liked most was the variety--they also had sushi, a salad bar, fresh fruits, and a seafood section with shrimp, oysters, salmon, and other options. For drinks, they offered coffee, tea, and juice, which was convenient. And of course, there were lots of desserts like cakes, pastries, gelato, and mini sweets. The atmosphere felt more festive since it was New Year's Day. It was a bit busy, but still organized, and the place has that elegant Bellagio vibe without feeling too overwhelming. Personally, I didn't eat as much as I wanted because I wasn't feeling well that day and didn't have much of an appetite (as I've mentioned in my past videos), but my husband really enjoyed the food, so that made the experience worth it for us. Overall, if you're in Vegas during the holidays and want a place with a lot of options in one spot, this is a good choice. Just come hungry to really make the most out of it!

This was a great place to check out. I was surprised that it was actually literally an oyster bar…read more An actual bar in the middle of the casino. Wasn't sure what I was expecting when she said oyster bar, but it was not what I was expecting. . It was a cool vibe and one of the first things that stood out that she was surprised about was that there was no line. My friend said it's the first time she's been there and there was not a line. Treated her to dinner after letting crash at her place with less than 24 hrs notice. We were there on a Tuesday evening everything that we did this day appeared to be a light crowd day. Tuesday's is the day to go hang out in Vegas if you want shorter lines. I ordered the gumbo with only shrimp as the protein with the okra. It was yummy. I enjoyed it. The gravy was nice. I ended up with two bowls of white rice, which is not typically my choice. However, it was. It was great in there with the gravy and okra and I got the lowest spice level I could which was one so everything was pretty cool there large portions lots of shrimp. I cut my shrimp in half cause I like my things bite-size I have a very small mouth and I was laughing because they gave me a really large spoon which is too big for my mouth so I use my fork that came with a napkin. My friend ordered the BOUILLABAISSE. She powered through it quickly, so I think it was pretty tasty for her too. Three things that got my attention. 1. I enjoyed seeing them prepare our meal right there in front of us how efficient and clean and things were so that was great and it was a bit of a show. 2. They served me water with ice. I don't necessarily appreciate that. I don't like ice in my water and I would prefer them to ask me what I'd like to drink before just serving me something, there may be however, how they do it at bars I don't go to a lot of bars. I'm also sensitive because I have bladder disorder and cold things set off my bladder. 3. I didn't care for the dynamics and exchange that felt off when trying to pay with my tap from my phone. I had to literally give him the phone to do the payment and I feel like that's a little bit of a disconnect the purpose of my mind of doing my tap is so that I don't have to give you my card or my phone so I feel like that's something that's gotta be a little bit more efficient for them to work on especially how busy they are and you know the amount of traffic that takes place in a bar. I love the look and the set up. It felt really cool. It didn't feel like we were sitting in the middle of a casino although we were. I loved seeing them prepare the food from start to finish. That was also really great. I would definitely go there again if I'm in town and we're in the mood for that type of food it had the New Orleans, Louisiana flavor vide to theme to me and really clean. On that note so are the bathrooms. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the cleanliness and the speed to get in and out of the bathrooms. I'm always gonna give a review on the bathrooms cause they're very important to me as I do have bladder disorder. I hope you all find this read helpful.
