AYCE is my go to buffet in Vegas. It's reasonably priced and has a decent variety. They also have unlimited snow crabs and champagne/mimosas. For $50 per person including tax and tip, it's not bad compared to other buffets like the Wynn and Wicked Spoon. In terms of taste, some items are delicious and some are mediocre. This was my first time back in a couple of years and I believe the quality has went down a bit. Maybe I went a bit too late during brunch since we didn't get seated until 1 pm, an hour before they stop brunch service. Service was excellent. Our server was very kind and attentive and made sure our glasses were always topped off. There is plenty of seating inside the buffet. Lines do get long because it's a popular buffet. I See Food. We ventured to the AYCE buffet this past March 2026 for their Lobster dinner. NOTES 1. AYCE is located at the Palms Casino. Self-parking available in their garage. 2. The Lobster dinner (per signage at the buffet check-in counter) is on Wednesday and Thursday from 3:00pm to 10:00pm. Cost as of our visit in March 2026 was $79.99 for adults. 3. Reservations are recommended. I believe we made the res for 6:00pm, but we showed up slightly before 5:30pm and we were all allowed to be seated as long as everyone in the party was present. 4. The buffet isn't large when compared to other buffets on the Vegas Strip, i.e. Bacchanal at Caesars or Wicked Spoon as the Cosmopolitan. Well, shall we get to the point? One wants to know about the food, right? The buffet was ok IMHO. Again, it's a smaller buffet, as the Palms is not a Vegas strip property/hotel. Therefore, I suspect they have these special/unique buffet themes to attract diners that are not guests of the Palms. (I.e., there is a prime rib and snow crab dinner on Friday nights). Though we were dining specifically for the lobster, the AYCE has your standard buffet fare, including: salads, fruits, meats, pasta, chicken, etc. We clearly gravitated more towards the lobster, and we mostly returned for the lobster and other seafood TBH. Even with a reservation, we waited 5 to 10 minutes because reserved guests and the waitlist shared the same check-in line, creating confusion and frustrated customers. The lobster tails were good, but the claws were dried out. The brisket was flavorful, while the lobster mac and cheese was greasy and mediocre. Desserts appeared premade. Cleanliness was disappointing. Several plates had a greasy film, the dishes and silverware didn't always appear clean, my water had a black piece of debris floating in it, and it tasted bitter. My family and extended family just had the Lobster dinner buffet at AYCE yesterday and I would have given a 4-star review based on the food quality and some questionable service from one of the meat carvers. However, our main server, Benjie, was exceptional and really made this a 5-star experience. The primary reason for tonight's visit was to try out the all-you-can-eat lobster but it ended up tasting a bit dry and rubbery and the whole lobsters were not properly prepared so the inner gut track were still present. I'm well aware that for an AYCE lobster buffet, I shouldn't expect succulent, world-class lobster but I do have to provide an honest review and this lobster was alright. What did make up for the lobster quality was the variety (whole or tails) as well as the delicious snow crab that was probably my favorite shellfish out of all the options. The other dishes that stood out for me were the lobster mac and cheese, poké, brisket, pork ribs, and pasta bar. The desert selection was decent but the Dole Whip machine was a big hit with our family. Overall, for a vegas buffet, this did not disappoint and the fact that self-parking is free at the Palms makes this a decent buffet option to try if you're looking for a seafood-centric option. read more

5/24 An off strip buffet on a budget. Having seen the plentiful amounts of lobster and some PR luster; I have always wanted to experience and dine-in. If it is a gourmet dining experience that you're looking for, then you might not be in for a surprise. The rush: well, you can't miss the A.Y.C.E sign as it sits front and center as you enter the casino floor and centrally located by the hotel registration desk. What I mean by rush one may ask? Well, the cashier, 1 of 2, neither was she nice, and the whole interaction was - card, pay, and sign. I did feel a bit embarrassed at my table, but the reason for that will be revealed later on. Interior: I quite liked the rustic wood and metal framing of the individual stalls as well as the dinning room. Service: the waitress attending the area I was seated in - towards the back to the far left, close to the Revival (vegan themed stall). I felt embarrassed as I may have under tipped - unfortunately I felt so rushed by the cashier that I wrote a number in the tip line in a hurry. Nonetheless, I was provided attentive service. All you can eat? Despite the acronym being exactly what one would describe at a buffet, I found it difficult for me to eat as much as I can. The food was so underwhelming that I could barely remember the individual stalls and its offerings. The carving meats were at the least edible. The sushi station had rolls that could mirror those bought from Costco. The salad station looked promising, but let's face it, that's more of an after thought at a buffet. The desserts looked decent, until I bit into a Portuguese egg tart that tasted nothing like what it's supposed to be. The value: every table had silver buckets, crackers, and tools to de-shell and reveal flaky crab meat. Patrons load up on crab legs and crack away salty and plump meat. This is something you would have to do all hands in. I did crack a couple legs and felt that butter is not needed for the already sea salt fresh crab. I really wanted to enjoy my meal but felt that there was not enough offerings. My thoughts after the meal was that I would have been happier at Tim Ho Wan (also located inside Palms), or spend $40-$50 more at an on strip buffet like at the Wynn for a gourmet experience (A.Y.C.E was $46.99 before tax and tip). Didn't really eat much of the brunch offerings but DEFINITELY went ham (no pun intended) on the STEAMED SNOW CRAB (whole legs) along with de-shelled cocktail shrimp. Had picked up a small piece of a NY strip steak at one of the stations. Super overcooked unfortunately, probably from the heated station. The bacon i had got was SUPER crispy (yum). The STEAMED SNOW CRAB was really good. Pretty easy to remove most of the meat in the body and leg. Even though its NOT self serve, the servers do NOT skimp on how much they give you. Sometimes you actually have to tell them to stop ! Every table has a bucket, for all the shells. They also give all the tools needed for eating crab without asking, which is nice. Definitely ate as much snow crab as i could, despite it being 11am LOL. Probably the most reasonably priced buffet ($42.99/person for brunch daily, $46.99 for dinner on Mon, Tues, Sat, Sun, $52.99 for prime rib & snow crab dinner on Fri), for good quality snow crabs. Everything was delicious and fresh. The crab legs had claws! Not the dinky ones with lots of effort and not a lot of meat here. Also they have a soup bucket of drawn butter if you want to go all out. We made our reservations on March 11 for the lobster themes night, April 2 and opted for the first dining option, 3 PM. Upon arrival, they were in the transition from the daily brunch crowd. The staff were very meticulous in wiping down the tables and chairs. Each table was set with a bucket for shells, plus a cracker. Our sole purpose was the lobster, so my husband was set on eating the cost in lobster. While the lobster was not seasoned, just steamed, they did have two butter options, regulars and spicy. The spicy was just seasoning with an assortment of herbs and not spicy. We were seated across from the lobster and crab area, so could see when they put out fresh lobsters I tried the tails and the whole lobster, as well as the snow crab legs. They also had other cuisine, BBQ, southern, sushi, salad bar and of course dessert. (4/5) We came here yesterday for the Thursday lobster and snow crab night, and overall we had a great experience! I'll be honest--for the price, I expected a much larger variety of food. The buffet itself was a little underwhelming, and aside from the seafood, there wasn't much that really wowed me. That said, if you're coming here specifically for the unlimited lobster tails and snow crab legs, it's absolutely worth it. They let you order as much as you want, and the process was surprisingly efficient. There are two seafood lines, so the wait was never very long. They also offer two different kinds of butter for the lobster and crab, which was a nice touch. One tip: eat your seafood as soon as you get it because it gets cold pretty quickly. Outside of the seafood, my favorites were the bacon mac and cheese, the brisket, and the ribeye. My first serving of ribeye was cooked perfectly, but my second serving was unfortunately overcooked and a bit tough. The brisket, however, was tender and flavorful. The staff deserves a shout-out. Everyone working at the food stations was friendly and welcoming. I only caught Robert's name, but he was especially kind and provided excellent service. The staff at the pasta station and the seafood station were also wonderful. Our table server was okay--not bad by any means--but wasn't as attentive as I had hoped. The dessert section was probably the biggest disappointment. There weren't many dessert choices, although they did have a nice variety of gelato, sherbet, and Dole Whip. Overall, we had a great experience, and I would definitely come back--but mainly for the lobster and snow crab on Thursdays. If you're someone who can really put away lobster and crab, you'll absolutely get your money's worth. Just don't come expecting a huge selection of other buffet items. They have whole lobster and lobster tails for those that doesn't like to break it apart and eat it. There were two types of butter that you can get to dip with it. One can continue to hope that the trend of food halls will reverse itself and Vegas will return to the glory days of the buffet reigning king on the strip. Until that day we will have to make do with the few buffet options there are left on the strip. The AYCE at the Palms is not as expansive as the buffet at Caesar's or the Wynn but it holds its own against these strong competitors. The lobster and crab legs are the draw here, but what stood out to me were some under the radar dishes that don't get as much attention in the buffet setting. First the Crab Rangoon was a perfect bite of sweet and savory. I would not have thought that hot honey would pair well with a Crab Rangoon but I'm glad I was mistaken. You get the crunchy breading upon the initial bite mixed with the warm and savory crab mixture, then the hot honey adds a touch of sweetness and just a hint of spice. All the different flavor profiles come together for the perfect bite. Another dish I would return for is the baked beans and cornbread combo. It seems like the AYCE has perfected the sweet and savory combination because this was another pairing that was delicious. The smoky bbq flavor of the beans and the sweet and savory cornbread quickly became a favorite of mine here. I wouldn't sleep on these great dishes even if the seafood is the main draw. read more

Located in the Palms casino, this is a decently priced buffet. There are warm snow crab legs, delicious birria ramen, some good breakfast dishes, and pretty decent lunch options. Their dessert bar is better than the other buffet we went to in LV, with the smores brownie being the star. Soft serve ice cream was great too. However, it is a buffet, so not every food's quality was good enough to rate 5/5. Just glad I didn't go to the pricier buffets as I feel the quality would probably be the same, just a few more options. Service was good, only thing is they ask you to pay and ask for a tip before you even get seated, which feels weird when I have no idea how good or bad the service will be. Update: My daughter and husband got so sick last night. My daughter was projectile vomiting for 30 minutes straight. Definitely had to change my review to one star. Sit in Kathy's section if you can. She is the most delightful and genuine kind human I've met in a long time. She made the meal so much more pleasant, so it felt like a sit down dinner rather than a buffet. The food has some hits and some misses, but I'm sure it all depends on the flavors you like. I loved the roast beef with the au jus. Get the pieces that are a little more pink for the perfect texture. The strawberry sorbet for dessert was amazing. This is why they got 4 stars...the food needs to be warmer. It all felt warm, but not hot like fresh food should, especially the crab legs and ribs. The star of the buffet is the employees. They all seem happy to help you, but be polite, look them in the eye, and treat them like humans because they deserve that kindness. I saw way too many people forgetting to use basic manners with them. The whole place is also very clean and well attended to. The Palms plays great music, so it makes dinner more fun. read more

Unlike many of the other Vegas buffets it is open not only for breakfast, brunch, and lunch, but also dinner. Dinner costs more and has premium items like crab legs, lobster, and various cuts of steak/beef. See their website for the current offerings and pricing as these change over time and vary per day of the week. It was not noisy or crowded, but more people arrived over the course of our meal and it got a little louder, but still not noisy or over crowded like other buffets in the area. We went for dinner on a Tuesday around 4:30-5:00. There was a very short line and the buffet was not crowded. As with other Vegas buffets there is a 1-1.5 hr time limit to eat. The premium items available on our visit included: crab legs, brisket, and sirloin. The crab legs were fresh, well cooked (not soggy/mushy), and well seasoned (not too much salt taste). The brisket was well seasoned but not tender. The sirloin was well seasoned and cooked well, just ask the server to cut for you from the end for more well done or the middle for more rare. They also had a pork street taco, which was excellent and probably the best item on our visit. Also notable was the candied yams. They had all the other typical buffet areas: dessert, salad-fruit, various international hot foods, limited seafood-sushi, etc. The gelato was truly disgusting with strange flavors. We tried almost all of them trying to get a good one and only 1-2 were even edible. Their other deserts, cakes, cookies, special confections were not worth the calories. If you really want desert after, then try Urth Cafe in the Wynn or one of the various off strip frozen custard places (the ones down town are not good). The price was about $50 a person. You tip before you get seated when you pay. Consequently, we only tipped 10% at register (10% is standard for a buffet despite any objectors), but we received excellent service and so tipped another 10% cash at the table. For what you pay and what you get, we thought the AYCE is actually a better value than the other more expensive and more famous buffets in Vegas. The other buffets do have very good food, but AYCE is just a better value. Definitely check out their menu and pricing schedule online and give them a try one night for dinner. read more
