I first visited the location at 9320 W. Flamingo with a couple of friends. The moment I walked in, something about the place made me feel like I was back in DR. The cafe is beautiful, colorful, and has such a warm Latin feel to it that I immediately felt comfortable and welcomed. And then, of course, there are the empanadas! They have so many different varieties, beef, chicken, shrimp, egg, and many others. The three of us each ordered one and then got an extra one so we could share and try another flavor. I was surprised by how filling they are! One empanada can definitely satisfy you, and everything we tried was very tasty. They also have other Latin bites, including yuca and a potato ball filled with meat, along with pastries, sweets, cold drinks, iced coffee, and hot coffee.
