The food was incredible, very flavorful compared to another chickpeas location(same name but not associated with each other), service was decent but he was short staffed, he had metioned the other staff whom was supposed to be the host, didn't show up. Place was almost empty, and we wondered why, the food and flavor was really good. But before the end of the night, more people started showing up. Restroom was clean. Music and ambience was good too. The food was okay, I felt like most things were bland and needed seasoning, or sauce. They have salt and pepper on every table so you can season to taste. The location is fairly close to the strip. I had such a great experience at Chickpeas Mediterranean Cafe. The gentleman working there was incredibly kind and welcoming. He checked on us often, asked if we were happy or needed anything else, brought us drinks, and truly made us feel appreciated for coming in. That kind of genuine hospitality is such a nice change compared to most restaurants. The place was also exceptionally clean. They wiped down countertops as soon as they got dirty and picked up dishes quickly, which made the whole restaurant feel fresh and well cared for. But let's talk about the food--when I found out about an all-you-can-eat Mediterranean buffet, I knew I had to try it, and my heart was so happy. There were plenty of options without feeling overwhelming. Everything I had was wonderful--from the tabbouleh salad, hummus, kebabs, and butter chicken to all the little extras in between. I have to start with the friendly welcome as soon as you walk through the door. The decor is beautiful, the place is very clean including the restrooms. I came for mid-morning brunch and it did not disappoint. The prices are more than reasonable for the amount of food options to choose from plus your choice of beverage. My personal favorites are the white fish, the hummus, tzatziki, the ground chicken and the pita bread is amazing. I finished my meal with a slice of baklava and Pete recommended a hot cup of tea to pair with it. It was so good, I had a second cup. The ambiance is so relaxing with the music playing in the background. They don't rush you to eat. Had seen this place on YouTube, and wanted to try it in person. So, I brought a few of my entourage (visitors from out of the country) to come and tasted by ourselves. We were there around 2:00 PM right after lunch crowd, I presumed. Alas, not all the trays were filled with food; like the ones saw on YouTube! Meats dishes looked old and sorry looking. A lot of stuffs were missing. Pizzas were cold. But, the staffs were very friendly and very helpful. They came and asked to microwave the slices of pizza. The soft drink were flat. It would have been very refreshing to drink the bubbly kola drink while the weather was dried and balming outside. We were very disappointed and I had to apologize our out-of-country-visitors for the non-fresh food. To add insult to injury, fruits and sweets displayed were stuffed with items as old looking as the main dishes. I wanted to give positive five star rating and support the local business, but the business should do its part to sustain its regular customers and attract more new customers with better quality control planing. Stopped in for brunch on a Sunday after church and we really had a great time here. The dining room is very spacious, modern and classy dining tables and chairs. A.Y.C.E Mediterranean is the way to go! 90 Minute Time Limit Per Table. We were pleased of the selection of many fresh items to choose from. Starting with the Salad Bar, Appetizer Station, Pizza Bar, Main Entree's Bar, Desert Bar and even a Soft Serve Bar. There is also a sauce station. The staff kept the buffet stations clean and full of delicious food. The staff were awesome with drink refills and clearing out the dishes for us. One staff member in particular I think his name was Mike, he was awesome. They serve drinks and a variety of hot teas. We liked the Chai Tea served in a small glass tea cup and a small glass plate. I had a lot of faves they were the chicken koobideh, beef koobideh, the baked fish, the salad bar, butter chicken, the turkey croissant roll up and the fresh fruits that were available. I am a regular customer at this restaurant and visit 3-4 times a week, alternating between this location and the Flamingo one. I absolutely love the food--it is consistently excellent, varied, and nutritious. The owner is also a very kind and welcoming person, which is one of the reasons I keep coming back. The ambiance is very nice with marble tables and good music. Unfortunately, my experience today, around 5:00 p.m., was very disappointing. A server approached me and, in a very rude tone, said: "Are you done with this? Don't you see that sign? It says the buffet is 45 minutes. Want to stay longer? There is an extra charge!" I was genuinely taken aback by how he spoke to me. At the time, there were only four customers in the restaurant, so it wasn't as though tables were needed for waiting guests. I had been there for only about 50 minutes and had eaten just one main course plate and one dessert plate. I am a slow eater because I am a small person, and I like to take my time to enjoy the flavors rather than rush and risk indigestion. Most buffet restaurants in Las Vegas allow guests at least 90 minutes, so being spoken to this way over a few extra minutes felt unnecessary and disrespectful. A polite reminder about the time limit would have been perfectly acceptable, but there is no reason to address a loyal customer so abruptly. The server appeared to be South Asian and was wearing a black cap, a yellow T-shirt, blue jeans, had tattoos on his neck, and a gold earring in his right ear. I hope he receives additional customer service training, because his attitude was completely out of line with the otherwise excellent experience this restaurant usually provides. I will continue to recommend the food and appreciate the owner, but I sincerely hope this issue is addressed so other customers do not have a similar experience. read more

Inside is bright, clean, and spacious with good music and plenty of seating to accommodate up to 200 people. Atmosphere is nice and relaxing. It's a perfect venue for special gathering, big celebration, birthdays, and rehearsal dinner. The buffet offers a nice selection for salad, tasty appetizers, hot items, and desserts. Pricing is $20 on weekdays before 4pm. After 4pm, weekends, and holiday, pricing is $26. They offer appetizers for traditional hummus, tzatziki, ikra (eggplant caviar), baba ghanoush (smoky eggplant), dolma (stuffed grape leaves), Mediterranean coleslaw, tabouli, village salad, garden salad, fruit salad, roasted zucchini, and shrimp cocktail, Hot items include pita bread, basmati rice, Mediterranean rice, barley white soup, lentil soup, butter chicken, spanakopita (savory spinach and feta pastry), meatball, lamb shank, white fish, grilled shrimp, chicken shawarma, tandoori chicken, bbq chicken, grilled veggies, falafel, ground beef kabob, ground chicken kabob, grilled tomatoes, turkey roll up, and baked potatoes. We were in town on our Anniversary and stopped here because Let's Eat Vegas told us it's a great restaurant. They were right. It was very good. So, I'm going to say right now that there is not a huge selection at this buffet. There are several dishes to try, though, and if you find one you really like, you can keep going back for more as it's all you can eat and at only $20 per person, it's definitely a nice buffet! I tried the ground chicken skewer, butter chicken, dolmas, hummus, saffron rice, and pita bread first. I wasn't a fan of the skewer. It was mostly the texture and the crust. The flavor was good, though. The butter chicken was tender and the sauce was so good and paired well with the rice. The pita bread is a hit/miss thing. Some pieces are super hard and not great while others are nice and soft. My second visit to the buffet bar was to grab more dolmas and some shrimp and cocktail sauce. Those dolmas are amazing! I love them with a little extra lemon juice. Meanwhile, the shrimp were plump and juicy and just about perfect! Paired with the cocktail sauce, I was in heaven. They also offer desserts consisting of fresh sliced fruit, little cakes, and baklava. The baklava was really good. I had one of the lemon cakes and it was good, too. The fruit, though, the pineapple and cantelope were so juicy and sweet and flavorful! The watermelon was less sweet but I added a little salt and that did the trick, it brought the sweetness forward and amplified the flavor. Meanwhile, the man who checked us in was super friendly and kind. He checked on us several times and knew exactly what we were drinking so when he noticed our drinks were low, he'd bring a refill. $26 buck for dinner. What's really the difference between dinner and lunch? Seems like the lamb shank was also for lunch. Let me start with, we saw an fb reel video about a new middeterranian AYCE that is close to our place and thought we should check it out. We go time to time for order take outs from other restaurant in the area for kabobz and lamb chop combo and it's always a hit. So we thought, hey let's try this one out. I was really looking forward for lambchops in an AYCE setting, but found out to no avail. Why would they have this on their Order Menu and not even have it served on their buffet. Come to think of it, I've ask an employee and the old man (maybe an owner?) and lamb chop seems to be an unknown word on their dictionary. They kept pointing me to the lamb shank which, I haven't had before. Well, at least the lamb shank was good, and it must have been their highlight in the whole restaurant since it's only limited to 1 per customer. Other than that, everything went downhill from there. I was looking also for the kabobz, and was only able to grab one of the beef and chicken, my wife didn't even get to taste the chicken. The chicken kabob was good, but seems like to have to twist someone's arm just to get the thing refilled. I've asked same two employees, and 15 minutes later or so, and the tray still wasn't refilled. Everything else seems to look like left overs, hard, dry and tasteless. The ambiance was nice, but the restaurant was empty - on a wednesday evening (5-6PM). The desserts were cold, and hard, it's probably why my wife was offered coffee to match it with. Overall, this was a first time last time for us. For the price, there are plenty of competetive restaurants around the area that could match or even surpass this menu (easily). For the price, anyone can get a much better deal to a korean BBQ AYCE restaurant that offer a lot more. Even the buffet of asia across the street is more worth it to be in with more to offer and priced less that they are. Upon seeing that this is newly opened, we decided to check it out to first support them, second, check out what they offer as an AYCE Mediterranean buffet. They just opened and it seems the dust hasn't really settled because while they tried, there were signs that they are still settling in and haven't really found the grove yet for things to run smoothly: 1. Some items aren't refilled quick enough and 2. Some had a few stragglers sitting there so the entrees didn't look abundant, more like leftovers sitting there too long. 3. people were waving the workers down at various tables for things and only a couple of folks were servicing those tables. You can see them really scrambled, a little disorganized 3. food was not hot, just barely warm Despite all the craziness, they were very friendly and very helpful and courteous when helping others. Giving them grace that things are still settling down since they just opened, this review is mainly on the food. There are a little bit of middle eastern, some Indian dishes and some Greek items. Overall, it is a decent spread. But more than one entree is very heavily salted, making them a little hard to enjoy: the chicken kabobs, the broccoli, baby brussel spouts and the falafel. If those aren't as heavily salted, I think I would have enjoyed the lunch better. They didn't explain what the price covers but I later found out the following are part of the price while sodas are extra: coffee, hot tea, iced tea (has a hint of mint, which is nice), lemonade and water. The stars of the show for us were: 1. the lamb shank: It was cooked till very tender and very flavorful. 2. the tomato "salsa" and all the sauces at the salad bar 3. the grilled onions, yellow peppers and baby carrots. I think for $20.80 for lunch, it was decent. It didn't wow me in flavors but I appreciate the friendliness of the staff and how hard they worked to keep things moving, making sure all the patrons were taken care of. I'll come back a few months later, hopefully by then they had tweaked things and find a grove. BTW, the place is decorated very nicely. Chickpeas took over an old Mad Greek restaurant on Rainbow slightly off Sahara. It's a Mediterranean buffet. You pay as you walk in. They have liter sodas that you pour yourself. There is ice that you scoop out for your cup and water also. This wasn't the best setup but I just got water so it didn't bother me much. The seats are comfortable but all very close to each other. We went while they weren't incredibly busy so we got an edge of a table to sit. The buffet started with cold salads. Cucumber salad, hummus, baba ghanoush, dolmas, Mediterranean salad, tabouli salad, etc. There is also fresh fruit. The desert is in between but I will talk about that later. The main buffet had rice dishes, beef kebab, pita bread, grilled veggies, lamb shank (1 per person), falafel (the best I've ever had), French fries, chicken shawarma, white fish, salmon, grilled shrimp (really impressed by the flavor and size), grilled eggplant, and two soups. I mean there was a lot of food. It was nice quality for a buffet also. I'd pay $25 just for a plate of fish and shrimp with the salads. Delicious. This is a great place to test your pallet. I am married to a Persian man so it was really lovely to have the cardamom hot tea afterwards with the desserts. It's my favorite. I loved the cream puffs. They were still a bit frozen so it was like eating ice cream. They had some other desserts but what really blew me away was their cake. If I'm not mistaken, it was Persian love cake or something similar. It was a lovely combination of sweet with the fragrant rose and a honey like flavor in an incredibly moist cake. I definitely recommend you give Chickpeas a shot. I love that you can get so many different protein options. I need to go back when they have the belly dancers.
