We were told the table was for 4 and we would have to move once another one opened up, okay no problem. 1. The other couple was never moved 2. Teamed with Jeff Ecker since 2000, a number of accolades earned since, Paymon's Baba Ganosh arrives chunky with lots of Garlic matched to bright acidity, though Pita is unfortunately no better than the store bought stuff. Looking next at Fesenjan, decent but a far cry from Zaytoon in terms of taste or consistency, dueling Desserts perform well whether one prefers thick Baklava with Walnuts or large-grain Rice Pudding with Whipped Cream on top that eats light like the versions in France. read more

We also order baba ganoush for the table that came with pita bread slices. My friend order the tandoori fish tandoori which had a nice tart lemony marinade over the salmon and roasted vegetables. Overall cool place and good food but a bit pricey. The hookah lounge is located right next door. Luckily areas are separated so there's no hookah smell wafting in while you eat. read more

Reservations are required for groups this size and a card is needed on file, which made the process smooth and well-organized--definitely the right move for busy nights. The food was fantastic. The calamari was perfectly cooked--light, crispy, and not greasy. I also ordered the Broiled Kabob Trio, which was a great way to sample their most popular kabobs. Each one was flavorful, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. Service handled our large party efficiently without feeling rushed, and everything came out timely. There is a regular restaurant section and a designated lounge for both hookah and food. This is a great late night place to hang out or do work. I would say that the lounge is a bit louder due to the music and there were strobe lights, which sets the tone for a great group hangout, but there were plenty of solo individuals doing work on their personal laptops. We love the food here and always leave feeling satiated. Both dishes had different sauces and rice, but everything was incredibly tasty. I cannot complain about anything that we ate tonight. I ordered the gyro in a pita $17.00 for this lackluster sandwich there was enough fixings in the pita and as usual the meat was cold I did not return it because it's the time to get another one was not worth the wait .the drop and run service is becoming theme in local restaurants and patrons feel it. the booming music is fine in a full restaurant but when it's almost empty 4 tables at 1 15pm does complement the experience. paymons used to be reasonably priced sadly like most places the prices don't live up to menu items. read more

I will say this. I've been going to Paymon's for many years. All the way back to the older locations. I can remember when the serving sizes were worth it. The food is still exceptional, the service is still great. The ambiance is still good. But man the portions this go around were really something that let me down. Sure they may add more rice and veggies. But the meat was a real let down. Was it delicious? Yes. But I legit left hungry and felt let down. We paid $5 for a club soda. It was $31 for the kebab trio. One ground beef kebab, three little chunks of chicken and one little slice of lamb. Thats nightclub prices. All in all I would not go back. It's sad because they're a well known place in town. We were both so happy that we received the same great service and food that we remembered them being known for all those years ago. We shared the large Greek Salad and Chicken Breast Kabab plate. The spicy marinara sauce really made this taste good. Combination platter, this was nice to try out a variety of their started dishes. The jalapeno-lime hummus was the best. If you come here, the Athens fries are a must. Cooked nice and crispy with just the right amount of seasoning on it. Meatballs in Marinara was fabulous and a good size too, to share. Went amazingly with the fresh herb marinara sauce. Broiled Chicken Kabob cooked perfectly, nice and juicy. Came with roasted veggies and vermicelli pilaf, that was nice and fluffy. Tilapia Florentine seasoned and sauteed with artichoke heart and mushrooms. This dish so good. The fish had a nice crispy outside while soft and flakey inside. Came with angel hair pasta topped with lemon butter sauce over a bed of spinach sauteed with fresh garlic. So good. What is nice they have a variety of dishes to choose from. I've been a loyal customer of Paymon's for years--whether it's the Flamingo location for food, Eastern for patio hookah vibes, or Sahara for a full night out. But lately, I've been left wondering if y'all are trying to catch up with inflation all at once. First, I was surprised that both the hookah nd its refill were charged the same price--no refill discount, which felt odd. So I am paying $30 for both the hookah and refill? Where they do that at? Next came the calamari: $18.85 for a very underwhelming portion. I genuinely thought it was happy hour when I ordered it (because I've definitely had it during happy hour in April and May), and I was ready to laugh at how the "happy hour" portion was looking like a sad snack. But when I brought it up, the waitress said it's never been on happy hour--which is just not true based on my own receipts and experiences. I am disappointed in a local spot that isn't advertising changes. I bring friends here. I support this spot. But if the prices are going up while the portions shrink and the consistency fades, it makes me pause. Paymon's, you're starting to cost a lot of money--and not giving what it used to give. I've never been to a Mediterranean restaurant in Vegas, but this one was amazing and I'll for sure be coming back! A friend recommended this place for Happy Hour, so we came here at about 5 pm. It wasn't busy at all. The restaurant is attached to a Hookah lounge and the happy hour is only in the lounge. I was a little concerned because I'm sensitive to smoke and don't like to around it especially when eating, but we went in and decided to see if we could handle it. I was extremely surprised to find how well ventilated the lounge is and that it didn't seem smoky or smell at all! We ordered drinks , jalapeño margaritas, Moscow Mule and Espresso Martini, they were all good, but that was the spiciest margarita I've ever had!! I like spicy so it was perfect!! For dinner, we got the Garlic Parmesan fries, the combination platter and the meatballs. Everything was so flavorful! My favorite was the jalapeño lime cilantro hummus, I could have eaten it all!!! The pita was soft and warm , perfect for dipping! The meatballs were delicious and not too dense, they were very moist and also flavorful! They have a magician that comes to your table and he asks if he can entertain you while you wait for your food. His name was Elan (sp) and he was fun and very good at card tricks. He does them right in front of you so you can really feel the magic! Our whole group was amazed by his tricks. The decor in the restaurant is beautiful and you can tell a lot of thought went into designing this space! If you're looking for a good happy hour or just some good Mediterranean food, I would suggest Paymons! We made a reservation for a party of 3 in the hookah lounge via open table, but arrived a little early. Once our table was cleared, we were seated. Service was very slow; it took nearly 10-15 minutes to be approached. The lounge was busy, but many people seemed to have already closed out, or already had drinks/food. Our server took our food and drink orders all at once, and drinks came out promptly. The lavender mule was tart, but still good. Our food came out in less than 15 minutes, but just as we began eating, the manager/owner sent over a different server, Soody, to tell us a larger party was coming and requested we moved over to the table next to us. Soody was incredibly kind and accommodating about this inconvenience, and comped our hookah. It was strange that a server was sent to notify us of this; typically that sort of news would come from a higher up. The food was very good overall, but I probably wouldn't order the curry again. We weren't brought waters, so I asked a different server to bring us waters for the table. After 10/15 minutes, he brought two waters for three people. When an iced tea refill was needed, we attempted to flag down several individuals, but were unable to catch anyone's attention. The owner/manager approached after a guest told him we were trying to get his attention, and promptly fulfilled the refill request. I appreciate that he helped us with this (he also later cleaned up a spill - I think it says a lot when a higher up assists with tasks like this!). As the party next to us (who we'd been moved to accommodate for), it became very clear that they were friends with the owner/manager. They were a party of 4, which would've easily and comfortably sat at the table we were moved to, but the owner/manager would periodically sit with them, which is why they needed extra space. I understand that he had the authority to make this request, but it wasn't the greatest look for the business. Our waitress was often either occupied or not visible, which led to us to being serviced by Soody. She constantly checked in on us, and was very prompt. I appreciate that we ended up having a pleasant hookah and dining experiences despite the few things mentioned, but am disappointed by the service of the restaurant. What a blast! Came here tonight (Saturday) and they had a wonderful live band and dance floor. Absolutely stunning atmosphere! The food was amazing- best hummus in town, lentil soup off the chain, flaming cheese so good, and delicious cocktails. The hookah was also super tasty and lasted nearly two hours between the two of us. Our waitress was the sweetest! Paymon is so kind and down to earth. We will definitely be regulars at this spot! Went to the Sahara location tonight, only to find the dining room smoke-filled with hooka, because the lounge door was propped wide open. Hostess said they do that at night. Bad idea Paymon! We love Paymon's. If we are craving to smoke some good flavored hookah we always head over to Paymons. The food and drinks are good. We always have to get Turkish coffee and mint tea. For food, the fries and hummus are always a staple. The vibe of the place is just great. The service is fast and they always have hookah flavor suggestions if you're stuck. Last time we decided on a random flavors and the man came back out and told us we might not like that combo and suggested something even better. He didn't have to do that. Paymon's is an absolute Greek staple, and this is my second time here, the 1st being 4 years ago when I first moved here, and the quality remains the same! We started with the mezze platter, which had two types of hummus (regular and jalapeno), baba ganouch, dalma, falafel, the feta fries, and fresh hot pita. I actually don't typically like hummus, but the jalapeno was absolutely fantastic, and I hadn't tried any of the other items other than the fries, and it was a great experience. The server was great and quick, and kept out drinks filled and dirty plates off the table. My partner had the gyro, and it was definitely 10/10, and I had the chicken medallions with pasta, also a 10/10. I would definitely suggest this restaurant for anyone with a taste for Greek. Winding down from a long birthday week of activities, I wasn't really in the mood to go out. However, my girlfriend insisted on us having a happy hour quiet evening with a smoke and drinks. Paymon's, of course. Alyssa, our favorite mixologist, is back on Sundays too! Techno Lemonade shisha is a blend of Orange and Blueberry topped off with fresh Lemon essence. A smooth spicy smoke. GF began the evening with a strawberry margarita, but quickly moved on to a few Patron Silver dbl shots neat. I'm on Coke Zero. PAYMON'S IS BACK! We have been patrons of multiple Paymon's locations around the valley for almost 10 years. From Eastern, to Maryland Parkway, and this one here on Sahara. Paymon's was always our "special occasion" dinner spot. Almost two years ago, the food and service began taking a down turn. We had stopped coming by after the Eastern spot closed, and we experienced two or three meal at Sahara that didn't quite meet our usual amazing expectations of Paymon's. WELL. Last night we decided to give our favorite restaurant another chance... and we were THRILLED!!! The combination platter is ALWAYS a must. I've dreamt of these Athens fries and fry sauce. The babaghanoush had a fantastic recipe adjustment that was fresh, light, and delicious. We ordered one falafel pita, one chicken pita, and split/shared. Horrible customer service I placed a large order for lamb burgers around 6:30 PM for my team at work. I called at 6:45 to confirm that the restaurant received the order and the lady confirmed that the order was received and it will be ready at 8:30 PM (the time I requested) I started driving to the restaurant around 7:30, and I receive a call that they are out of lamb burgers 8:08 PM. I was 3 miles away from the restaurant and she says that I spoke to an automated system and no one confirmed anything over the phone. Here a proof of the call at 6:49pm and I know I spoke to someone not a fucking automated system. An apology would've settled it!!!! 5 STARS! Another wonderful dinner here! Everything is always so fresh and delicious! We started off with the appetizer platter and it was perfect! All the items were very fresh and we even ordered an extra plate of dolma/grape leaves. We both got the lamb kebabs and they were succulent and flavorful. I got mine medium rare and it was cooked medium rare just how I like it. For dessert, we got the tiramisu and it was very tasty, there was some extra brandy in there but the perfect amount.
