If this was my first Zaxby's experience, I would never be back. It started with a dirty restroom with no toilet paper. We ordered only to find the drink machine in the dining room to be out of ice. We had to wait in line again to get cups of ice. Then after receiving our food we tried to get napkins only to find that dispenser empty too. My Cobb Zalad was good and on par with other locations, but the fries my husband ordered were so salty they were not edible. The trash cans were so full that they were overflowing. Too many kids/teenagers playing around the food not being serious and leaving their work area in the middle of meals. I was the first in line and I got pulled forward while 5 cars passed me. The sandwich was served with green leaf lettuce (not iceberg), 2 tomato slices & honey mustard. The crinkle cut fries were average. I loved the freestyle Coke machine & tried the peach Sprite. I asked for my meal to be prepared a certain way and was told they won't do that, knowingly it had been done many times before. The rude cashier doesn't speak properly and you can't hear her. She will say a name like your standing nose to nose, if you are right at the counter, she will leave it. I watched her say a name. The person ordered ahead of me so I knew whose order it was, I walked to where they were seated and told them the order was ready. Me and my friends went to Zaxbys on a school trip and only had an hour to eat and get back on the bus. I was the first in my school to order food at 4:15 and had to be back on the bus at 5 well I was waiting in line waiting for my food to be called and people who ordered 25 mins after me were getting their food before me. They kept taking the food that was in my order and handing it to other groups and were sitting on their phones while food was ready to be passed out and I didn't get my food till 5:12. Would give zero stars if I could. I waited for my mobile order for 20 minutes in the curbside spot and when I finally went inside to check on it I stood at the counter for 5 more minutes before I had to literally wave someone down to give me my food which had been sitting on the back counter the whole time. I literally felt invisible and when I finally got someone's attention she was so mad that I bothered her that she threw my order down on the counter and walked away without saying anything. The store was not busy and did not seem understaffed so I don't know why this happened. This is also not the first awful experience I've had at this Zaxby's. Probably the most legit Zaxby's I've ever been to in my entire sad and miserable life. I've taken to just going through drive-thru restaurants when traveling for work as more than minimal interactions with people has become quite painful for me as of late. This drive-thru was quick, friendly, and my sprite wasn't just carbonated water, which is my utmost pet-peeve at fast food establishments. Chicken was hot-n-ready (just like the women I used to date in college), french fries were still fresh and expressing what it's like to be free in this great land. Let me start out by saying that first appearances are everything. This place has an atmosphere and quality of a sit down restaurant, but the speed of fast food. Chicken is great. Hand breaded and just right. The toast is good and buttery. The fries are a bit generic, but have a seasoning. The service was fantastic. Speed of service, above expectations. Quality of food, great! I had not had Zaxby's in a while and decided I would go tonight after a very long day. I ordered on the app and went to the restaurant and parked at the curbside and checked in through my email. I waited at the curbside for a good 30 minutes before calling. When I called I was told that they could not find my order. So I was unable to go inside and went through drive-thru. That line was LONG and SLOW. So while I was waiting in line, I called again and was put on hold and eventually it disconnected. I waited a few minutes and called back, manager said she found my order on the computer and had it waiting for me in drive-thru. WHAT?? So you found my order, which means not only did you see what time I ordered but also what the make, model, and color of my car was...yet instead of sending someone out with my order, you decided to make me continue to wait in the LONG and SLOW drive-thru line for my order.
