Walk up to the counter. No greetings just blank stare until I order. Bacon cheeseburger (double) and a bottled water is $17 and you gotta tip. I get my burger to go which I ordered plain. 10 minutes down the road (I'm just passing through on long trip) and I take my first bite and there is a strong mustard flavor. I take off the bun and it's evident they had put ketchup and mustard on it then realized their mistake. Instead of making a fresh one they must have just scraped what they could off of it. Of course I can still see the mustard in the patty and bacon and it essentially ruined the burger for me as I hate mustard. Too far to go back so just a waste of $17 plus $2 tip that I added at register. Zero stars if I could leave it read more

Five guys is a chain burger joint, who someone claimed that they were the "Willy Wonka of burgers." Restaurant had a few customers in it and the "stellar" crew could barely maintain the pace. Hiring Oompa Loompas might be better. 2 burgers, small fry, 2 drinks, cost 35 bucks, almost equivalent to having a steak dinner. Nothing special, it's a burger joint. Restaurant needed to be cleaned, but alas no Oompa Loompas to accomplish that here. Bun was soggy, fries were lukewarm. Yum...not. Plenty of choices around, the owner/franchisee should consider spending time here, especially in the evenings, he might actually make more money if the crew performed their jobs better and quicker. read more

Honestly the burgers are great! You get a TON of fries no matter what size you get! Probably the biggest and only downside to this place, and the chain as a whole, is the prices. I don't think anyone can argue $11 for a simple cheeseburger... by itself... is a lot to charge! The customer service is generally really pleasant! My wife accidentally spilled our milkshake and the cashier generously handed us another just having seen us cleaning the mess we made. Thank you! Owners of Five Guys, please be more reasonable with your pricing. read more

Good burgers. Five Guys never fails to be a good burger joint. Especially their generous amount of fries when you order. My family and I weren't really looking for a quick place eat on the way home. My wife ordered online and chose curbside pick up. We got there a pretty early so we had to wait. When we got our order the young lady who brought our food was very cordial. The food was made the way we expected. read more

I always pass by when visiting Valdosta. It has gotten better over the years. Good service, even better burgers!

Was the best burger I've had in a long time, most definitely will be back at least once a month

We've eaten at this location multiple times. It's always delicious! Little cheeseburger and regular fries hit the spot! Everything is fresh and tasty. Today the staff was exceptional. Everyone was smiling friendly and responsive. Seating areas were clean and organized. We first attempted to sit outside, but it started to rain, we decided to sit inside and it was so nice great. The staff was making such an effort my 13 year old daughter decided to use her own money and leave them a tip in the tip jar! read more

Burger and fries were great as usual. However for two burger combos, $36 is a little steep don't you think? Just can't give a 5 because how often will you pay that for a burger? read more

They have recently closed inside seating. This makes no sense. There were four tables inside that were separated beyond CDC recommended minimums. Georgia released updated COVID-19 guidance for restaurants in Feb, and it does not prohibit inside seating. According to the GA DPH, COVID cases in Lowndes County are lower than they have been since Thanksgiving. The day we went, it was too cold to eat outside. We left and went to one of the other numerous restaurants in the area that do allow inside seating. We wore masks, socially distanced and had a good meal. read more

Although the guys working at this place were awesome and super super nice and had no problem doing whatever we needed, I don't feel bad rating this Five Guys at 3 star. Meal came out hott and pretty dang quick, but I've had veggies at other locations cooked down a lot more and it just really makes a difference. The veggies on all 4 of the party's burgers were not done, looked like they'd be grilled at 150 for about 30 seconds. Not to forget one of the best parts about 5 guys, is their fries. Easy some of the top fries at any fast food restaurant you'll stumble across. Side Note - ask for some of the spicy seasoning to toss on your fries, you won't be disappointed! Good choice for a burger and fries if you're in the mood for it. somewhat weak 3 outta 5 read more

Unfortunately I have experienced many better locations of this chain. I stopped in on my way home to Florida from Alabama. The restaurant wasn't very crowded but for some reason food orders were backing up quickly and many people were up at the counter with complaints. The staff was very confused it seemed about the orders coming out and to whom they belonged. I wanted something above fast food quality and didn't mind waiting a bit, but regretted coming in when I had waited upwards of 20 minutes and ended up with a subpar burger and lots of older fries. I have had several 5 star worthy experiences at different Five Guys locations before, however this definitely wasn't one of them. read more

The staff here is awesome! It was pouring down rain at the time when we arrived but we had been driving a while and wanted a good meal. I wanted 5 Guys (mainly for the fries) and this location was on our route back to Florida. When we walked in the staff was jovial and upbeat despite it being pitch black and raining cats and dogs outside. The staff greeted us as we arrived and took our order. I was surprised to learn that 5 Guys sells milkshakes at some locations, as the ones I frequent do not. We dried off a bit and waited for our order which was available pretty quickly. The fries were hot and fresh but a little raw on the inside still so we took them back to the counter. Without hesitation, the staff apologized and offered to make us another batch. Since that was what motivated the trip, edible fries were essential for me. The second batch were cooked fresh but done on the inside. We were able to enjoy our meal and take a break from driving and refuge from the rain. Again the food was pretty standard for the chain but I had never encountered such a staff with so much joy and happiness. This was not just the case with us but with everyone in which served during our visit. Their smiles were contagious as they made me smile and pep up by the time I left. read more

Very consistent burger! The staff is always super excited to greet you and the burger is good every time we go, which is often.

1st and last time eating there. Holly shit they are expensive. could have had a big steak dinner for the same price.

Been in Valdosta for two day! I give Five Guys a 5 star! Best sandwich a vegetarian can find around town. Thank you! Fresh honest food! No lie. Everything else including the chain of restaurants are below California standards read more

This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. The fries were just okay, but the attitudes of the employees were not. They were dismissive and rude and lacked a sense of motivation. I did not get my shake until after I had left the restaurant (we sat for 20 minutes waiting for them, a friend ended up staying later and brought them to us) would not recommend. read more

This place is now the last place in valdosta I will ever go eat! The only reason its getting one star is for the milkshake which was good but far over priced for the amount you get. The food was a messy gross pile of grease. for all the talk about how great their fries are I was expecting firm, crispy fries but instead got half cooked floopy gross potato sticks, they don't even deserve to be called fries. The music was up so loud you couldn't hear them call numbers and there is no loud speaker for orders. The valdosta store is small and was over crowded we literarily had peoples butts inch's from our plates. We stopped here because chick fil a was busy.... I now know why I would of gladly waited twice the time for the much better service and food across the road at chick fil a, it will also save you 8 dollars. I was with three people and none of our bills were under $15, this is the first time I have ever ate anywhere and wanted my money back five guys is a terrible food joint and a rip off. STAY AWAY FROM FIVE GUYS IN VALDOSTA. read more

Five Guys - a hamburger and a shaker - Fast Food Near Me - Valdosta, Georgia

This was my 2nd time going to a five guys but the first time in Georgia. First the restaurant was very clean, even the bathrooms. Which was very different fromthe other restaurant. The food was not not greasy at all and very good. Will definitely come again. read more

I do not know how this doesn't have five stars. Food is exceptional as it always is. We had our dogs so ate outside and the restaurant was packed for a Saturday lunch rush. The manager brought out 2 cups of water for our dogs which was so nice of them especially being so busy. A really great staff at this store super friendly and all smiles. Had 2 burgers and fries and of course, it was amazing. Thanks read more

Great burgers and fries!! Finally one in Valdosta. Bunless was tasty, little messy but good!!

Had a minor issue with my burger toppings which was resolved immediately. We have been in Five Guys in multiple states this was THE ONLY Five Guys manager to come to our table to see if we were satisfied and had any needs. He also made the rounds checking on other customers when business slowed. After resolving the missing toppings on my burger, the manager apologized and stopped by twice to check on us. Very polite and caring young man, offered us a milkshake (very good) for our inconvenience. I don't live in Valdosta, but would make this Five Guys a regular stop if I did. read more

My Life savor!!! Best Burger in Val and nice people. One tip to get a quick order: Order online. You can give them clear instruction and pick up whenever you want! read more

This place when it opened was one of the best burger places I've ever been to. However it feels in the past couple of months they've fallen to complacency. Their burgers have gotten smaller and so has the amount of bacon, The first likely coming from them squashing the burgers so much to cook them faster, The second is just plain cheapness (I recieved half a strip of bacon, that's it). It use to be worth paying the extra money for the better quality and freshness. Now..not really. read more

Normally I enjoy coming here whenever I get the chance. The burgers are always delicious but the fries can be a bit salty at times but not too bad. Biggest complaint from last visit was the cashier looked so miserable, as if she didnt even want to be there and even rolled her eyes while taking our order. The rest of the staff were incredibly nice but the cashier's awful attitude will keep us from visiting for a while. read more

Super friendly staff, great burgers fries and a shakes. Just passing through town but glad we stopped here for a quick bite!

Fast, nice people, good food, fries were a little too salty, but that's my only complaint

This is my first time visiting Five Guys. I have all ways hear is was good, now I know for Myself. Yes, it was Great. The employe was great a suggestnig from the menu an the fires and burges with the toasted bread was. It was more than enough for one person. read more

Food was okay. Ordered a burger bowl "no bun" all the way - pickles. Got back to work & he didn't put ANY of my condiments. Called & spoke to Jessica & out loud she hollered, told him he didn't put any condiments, & then said what do I do? He simply hollered back, tell her I'm sorry, I forgot...seriously!?!? Not very good customer service! read more

Menu was typical 5 guys. It would be really nice if they would add onion rings. Anyhow our orders came out exactly as we ordered them, quite a feat since everyone modified every item ordered. The shakes were the highlight. Totally awesome. I hate to check the carb and calories however they were exceptional. We got a large order of fries that were nice and hot. There were more fries in the bag than in the cup. The cup was full, we had twice as many fries as we ordered, easily enough for 6 people, not a problem for us as we ate them anyway. Burgers were at least twice as good as the big chains and actually were juicy and tastey. The peanuts as a snack are great to kill the time waiting for your order to be fresh cooked. Nothing is on a rack drying out under a heat lamp. read more

The burgers are second to none. However, tonight I went in with my family to eat supper. There weren't many people in the restaurant, but the music was so loud there was no way to have a conversation over a meal. We asked them to turn it down which they did only a little. Even with it turned down, you had to yell across the table and couldn't hear yourself think. I don't know if I will go back. It a shame because they have such a great hamburger. read more

Worst hamburger I have every tried to eat, fries were cold and the so called music was to loud to even eat in the store. That was our first time and our last time. read more

I literally had to wait 40 minutes to get my order (Burger and fries) and there was no line. As always at Five Guys, the food was good, but at this location set some time aside to wait...slow! read more

I rated this a 1 star because the only good thing was the cherry coke. The burger was undercooked, the white lettuce - I put in compost pile at my house- tasteless, bun did not last until the hamburger was gone. For the price I expected a better quality of meat and cheese was a processed cheese product. The fries were brown, limp and tastless. Noisy and floor was so greasy I was afraid to walk on it. Peanuts were stale. read more

I don't mind paying the extra cost for their burgers and fries..Most of the time the burgers are worth it..The last 2 times I was there the burgers were the size of a typical McD's, flat and flavorless. I used to go there 2-3 times a week, but no more. I love their fries, very fresh and abundant. But until they start offering their standard burger, which is delicious, instead of a miniscule piece of meat, I will go elsewhere....... read more
