My complaint against Chick fil A, South Valdosta FSU (#01216), Valdosta GA (229) 247-2625; Operator Charlie Crews As a resident of Georgia, I have become familiar with our states' different fast-food chains. As a person that has worked over forty (40) years in Customer Service. I expect to be treated a certain way for soliciting each establishment. The week of Feb. 17, 2025, I requested, chicken- cheese and egg biscuit combo, with a lemonade, no ice and my senior citizen discount. Since I'm currently working in this area, and wanted a hot breakfast, I assumed this could be my stopping point before going to work. I am aware that we all make mistakes, that's natural. On this week, my order was incorrect twice, which meant that someone else's order was also incorrect. When we make errors and it's brought to our attention, I's up to our customer service standards of practice to correct the error, and make the customer feel that they are truly sorry for the inconvenience, since the customer has to travel back to the location to have the matter of concern corrected. Now on the first error, I was greeted and made to feel they were remorseful for the matter, however on the second error, I was asked to make another payment. This is where the situation made me feel unappreciated. First, I was given the lemonade and asked to pull up to the red zone. After waiting for some time, a nice young man came to my window and stated they were working on my order, ok. Wait a little longer, and the young person asked me to pay an additional fee, why? So, I need to pay for the error that was made by you company, I don't think so, 1st, because I paid the day before, and did not receive what I requested the day before. Now it's not like I asked for an additional yogurt or something. But Chick fil A, please realize, that I will not be giving this location any more of my revenue. Because I do not like to solicit any establishments that do not value their clientele. I will say the person requesting the money was nice, but the message was the same. And since you (Chick Fil A) and I (unsatisfied customer) know that all businesses need revenue to generate profits, I will not support you. I have attached a copy of my receipt, order #12199472. There is a good experience that came out of the negative experience, I found another chain, Zacadoos, food is great, customer service very nice and the prices are lower. I'm with most Americans and go crazy for some chick fil a. This location in particular is nearly guaranteed to mess up your order. I've been here countless times and I honestly don't remember a time they didn't mess up something. The funny thing too is I normally order through their app (which is convenient and user friendly) which makes it SUPER easy to read my order. Tonight was the straw that made me review this place because my wife's entire meal was wrong and ended up not eating. They put extra pickles in her no pickle sandwich, Arnold Palmer instead of her unsweet tea, and completely forgot my side salad. I'd say you should check your meal before you go but the line is normally a quarter mile long wrapped around the building. 6/13/2023 The food was cold and absolutely horrible. It looked as though they ran out of food to-go boxes and took a few used, greasy-boxes out of the trash can to serve food. We asked twice for 3 mayo packets and was given 3 packets of honey roasted barbecue instead. Never in our fast food eating life have we ever had to pull forward at a Chick-fil-A and wait 6 minutes for our food to be prepared. Let me tell you, there is something different about having Chick-Fil-A in Georgia versus having Chick-Fil-A in Texas. I don't know what it is, but hey, I'm not complaining! I usually go through the drive through, but I have been in a couple of times. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. What's great about this location (and I'm guessing all locations in Valdosta, but someone confirm this please!) is that on Monday's, if you are a GMC, VSU or Wiregrass student, as long as you have your student idea, there is a Buy One Meal, Get One Meal Free! Umm, HELLO! How dope is that? Split the cost of a meal with your friend or roomie and you are good to go! I will definitely be visiting this location often, especially on Monday's! One note though, this is not a gripe nor complaint, but I do think this would make things run faster. Back in Texas during the summer season or peak hour in general, the Chick-Fil-A's would have staff members outside taking orders as well as taking the payment.
