Prior to heading to the airport, made a family stop and picked up traditional wings, crispy "flavored" tender combos (before the dipping sauce) and seasoned fries. Note the theme... "seasoned"!!! Came inside and it was busy. Didn't have to wait long. Only compliant was the fries got "too much" seasoning so they came across salty, but that was only on my order. The other ones were fine. had a bad experience all management is rude and disrespectful.... a gentleman named evan connors from zaxbys even reached out and as a courtesy he asked i contact him but provided no contact info. i called zaxybs in pooler on zoya lane spoke to taylor she has no idea who this person is, i spoke with a location in atlanta also spoke with customer service and no one knows this gentleman. next time you respond to a guest issue please provide them with contact info and also inform someone in the company that you work there. very professional management skills but from all of yoir staff it is not surprising. read more

I got the 4 chicken plate which comes with crinkle cut fries, coleslaw, Texas Toast, and a small drink. At first glance, the plate seems promising. As soon as I took a bite into a tender, I was sorely disappointed. The tenders are lightly breaded, rectangular, dry, salty, and tastes as if they were fried once, left out for a couple of hours and fried again. The way the chicken peels as you bite into it is... stiff. Not sure how else to explain it. I also got the 5 traditional wings in buffalo garlic blaze. The wings (and drumsticks) were saucy on the outside but dry inside. The buffalo flavor was strong, while the garlic was hidden. The ranch dipping sauce was standard. Zax sauce is similar to Canes. The service was okay- the person at the counter was waiting for us to order, there was no one behind us in line, and didn't seem impatient as we were figuring out what to get. All of the seating here are booth seating, which is interesting since you do get more privacy eating your meal alone or with your group. I don't think I would ever crave Zaxby's. I have never heard of this restaurant so I wanted to give it a try. The staff was very friendly at all which is not the norm in the south so I took a start away for that reason. I ordered traditional wings in honey mustard sauce and a house salad with grilled chicken. Both the chicken and the salad were good in fact I went back 2 days later for the salad. read more

It's a typical fast food restaurant but with chicken. We went inside instead of using the drive thru so we could really look at the menu since we've never been to a Zaxby's. At first the cashier seemed to be impatient. I let her know we were not from the area and this was our first time and her demeanor became better. She explained everything to us nicely. We got Buffalo Garlic and Sweet & Spicy flavored wings. We also got chicken tenders and fries. I would not recommend sweet and spicy wings but the Buffalo Garlic was pretty good. The chicken tenders were juicy and seasoned well. The fries were seasoned well too. The soda machine had only Ginger Ale and Mello Yellow. The sandwich was great--minus 1 star for the customer service and fries at this location. Are the fries always crap or is it just this location? Lol. I've never heard of zaxby's before. We needed a quick bite so we went thru the drive thru. The chicken sandwich is similar to Popeyes--breaded chicken with spicy sauce on top. I would say the chicken is better than Popeyes. It has less breading so the breading to chicken ratio is better. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich meal, but I didn't think it was really spicy. I'm not a big spicy food fan, and this wasn't spicy to me. The meal also came with crinkle fries in a box sprinkled with seasoning. The fries are okay--not my favorite. They seem old. I left Zaxby's 15 minutes ago and I couldn't wait to leave a review !!! My family of 6 order was a large one. To be honest, I was thinking we were going to wait a while or something was going to be understandably missing due to all the specifics lol I was blown away! From the time we arrived, everyone was VERY courteous, and professional. The service was great and all of our food was made fresh, was hot and smelled awesome. EVERY item ordered, including the sauces, utensils and enough napkins, were all bagged neatly. All this in under 8 minutes!!! Stopped in late (9pm) after a long day of driving, just needing a snack. Settled on Zax Snax. Awesome! The chicken tenders we super juicy and tasty. The fries were moist on the inside and moderately crispy on the outside. The wings were super dry and unappetizing. They also messed up our original order and we had to ask them to correct it. The service was courteous but they should not have messed up the order to begin with. It was an inconvenience. Slow service, place doesn't feel clean. 3 years ago when I moved here, I loved this place. Now I dread when my family wants to eat here. So many times to change my mind but every time we go they blow it. From their salads being inconsistent- not adding egg, gave us ranch dipping sauce as dressing. After travelling for most of the day, we stopped in Pooler to have dinner. We decided on Zaxby's-we had never been here before. My brother and I went in and we both decided to have the chicken sandwich meal which consisted of a chicken breast on a bun with lettuce and tomato and a great tasting honey mustard sauce.[there were other choices in terms of sauces] The meal came with french fries and a drink which you could refill as often as you wanted. YUCK!!! How should I start this review .... Let's start from the moment I pulled up and placed my order with the girl standing outside with the HORRIBLE attitude. I asked for a wings n things with all flats (willing to pay the up charge because this isn't my first time at zaxby's ) only to receive a Oh we don't do that here. I have been so excited to try the loaded fries and they were absolutely horrible. They were soooo dry!! Literally didn't have any ranch at all on them just a few pieces of chicken and shredded cheese that wasn't even melted. Very disappointed. We've come to this Zaxby's multiple times, but after this last visit we won't be returning. We ordered food and got our receipt at 4:03pm. As we were waiting we saw multiple people who had ordered AFTER us get there food. At first I let it slide because I eventually saw 2/3 of our meal being placed on a tray at 4:21pm, and I overheard the manager saying the chicken fingers were cooking. So we waited another 8 minutes (yes i was checking the time). However, when I saw a kiddie meal (the meal we were missing) being placed into a bag and given to someone who had shown up almost 30 minutes after us I had to say something. We went to the counter and asked why we had been waiting 30 minutes for our food when people after us were already given their food. The girl at the front said the chicken fingers were cooking and that's what they were waiting on, and we said the guy that just left had gotten them already. She tried to say it was a Signiture Sandwhich on a KIDDIE BOX. We told her we've been watching our food sit on the tray for 10 minutes and she tried giving it to us. We refused, asked if it was hot or cold knowing it was cold & asked for a manager. Right when we asked for a manager the girl at the front ROLLED HER EYES AT ME. I said "Do not roll your eyes at me, that was so disrespectful." The manager came over and we explained what had happened. She gladly went into the kitchen and remade all 3 of our meals for us and gave us 3 free cookies. I love love love zaXbys! I wish they stayed open later! Most of the time I go to this one the food is hot and fresh but I have had some cold hard shriveled up fries a time or two. If you go to this zaxbys drive thru be prepared to wait 10-15mins. If you are trying to get a quick meal don't go here, if you are patient and willing to wait then it is usually great! read more

It was insanely crowded in here, but I was pressed for time and figured by the time I left and went somewhere else I'd waste even more time. The Pooler location of Zaxby's really impressed me. I am from an area where there are no Zaxby's, and when I travel to an area where there are Zaxby's, I like to grab a sandwich. However, I can never remember the menu and often need my memory refreshed as to what I liked last time. We stopped at Zaxby's this evening after a long day of driving anticipating a hot home style chicken breast fillet as a part of a club sandwich combo. I was informed that there were no fries and the list of possible substitutes. There was no mention however that there were no chicken breasts available either. The food was cold and there were chicken strips served in place of my chicken breast! My husband called to inform the management of the inept service to which he only offered his apologies and asked if we'd like to return the order. Arrived 5 minutes early (7:18pm) and called to let them know we were there, was told food would be right out. 10 minutes (7:28pm) later food still had not come out. Called again and was told it would be right out. But food still did not come out for another 7 minutes (7:35pm) so called one last time. Food finally came out shortly after.
