I have said before that I am not comparing McDonald's to Ruth's Chris. I am comparing it to other McDonald's locations and other fast food restaurants, and by that standard my experience this morning was excellent. I arrived early, found a clean table tucked into a corner, and settled in. I was able to connect to their wifi quickly and easily, and placing my order through the McDonald's app was just as simple. About five minutes later, a pleasant crewmember brought my meal over on a tray, which is always a nice touch at a fast food place. Everything I ordered was exactly right. The Egg McMuffin was cooked properly, the hashbrowns were still hot, and the coffee arrived just the way I requested it with two cream and light ice. I even received a bonus sausage wrap with the hot salsa, which made the meal feel a little more generous than expected. It all came out fresh, accurate, and ready to enjoy. The floors are still greasy throughout the entire dining room area! So slippery that exiting customers warned us as we were entering the restaurant to be careful! Let me start by saying that McDonald's was a major part of my childhood, including 2 years as a McWorker in highschool, however I don't frequent much in adult life. I guess the happy meal toys just don't have the same pizzaz anymore. The Chicken Big Mac caught my attention and lured me in recently. It replaces the beef patties with two chicken patties, which I am sure are the McChicken patties. It is a lot more "meat" than the Big Mac. I must admit that I enjoyed it more than a regular Big Mac, and would encourage them to turn this temporary special into a standard menu item, especially since it doesn't require any special ingredients that they don't already carry. The reputation for service & wait time at this location is not good, however, I can report that we ate at the heart of lunch hour, and it was great! My food was brought to my table within just a few minutes! That said, my coworker ordered the same thing and they made him come to the counter to pickup his food, but it was still quick. The restaurant was clean, and I would rate the service as good based on this visit alone. My coworker is a McDonalds connoisseur and knows more about the restaurant chain than anyone I know...by far. He has experienced long wait times (over 30min) for food at this location on multiple locations. We came because we didn't have time to drive farther. The employees at this McDonalds are abusive. Thursday night 3/7/24 asked female employee at drive-thru speaker if they could remake my latte. Explained it wasn't hot and that I've been reporting this to them for several months. She replied (very rudely), "Pull around." As I sat in line for 2nd window she tried to wave me back to her window. Wanting to avoid her, I asked her 3 times what she wanted. She wouldn't respond, so I stayed where I was. Obviously, she feels she can treat customers any way she wants. At 2nd window, heavy-set Manager began to abuse me to "show her how he'd treat me" for her. He poured my entire latte over his hand to show me that he knew it wasn't hot, then went about the business of "insisting" it was. He kept stating, "that's your opinion", when we both knew the drink wasn't hot. He was invalidating me so I would have to "defend" myself and was punishing me for not doing what the other employee wanted. He created many "reasons" for claiming the drink was hot. This went on and on. He was disrespecting me to win the approval of the other employee. This is not management material. I finally asked him if someone could fix the latte machine. He had many reasons why they couldn't. I asked if there was someone I could call myself to get this done. He had many reasons why there wasn't. He fought and manipulated me every step of the way, dragging me and disrespecting me because I was a woman alone and he felt he could get away with it. This was highly manipulative, very emotionally abusive behavior. He was very sick. I suggest the people in charge start straightening out things at this McDonald's. McDonald's is typically reliable for quick service and a clean bathroom. This location doesn't check either box. It took 15min to get our drive through (and the order was wrong) and then I made the mistake of using the ladies room. It was FILTHY, the soap dispenser and hand dryer were both broken and the music was incredibly loud and obnoxious. There was an employee in there who laughed about how loud the music was blasting while she made a point of telling me that I shouldn't use one of the stalls because it was too gross. Get it together, guys. Whoever owns this location needs to care about their restaurant and help their employees feel even a touch of pride before loyalists like me decide to never step foot into a McDs again. Simply disappointing. I was the third car in line to get to the window to get my food, waited nearly 10 minutes and couldn't leave due to being blocked in by others. People were blowing their horns because it was taking so long. The car at the window was waiting for their food, but after nearly 10 minutes of waiting, they asked them to pull around. When I finally got to the window, I told the employee that I hope my food was still hot and not sitting on the counter bagged up. I should have checked it before I left. Got home and the food was slightly warm. I will never return and certainly hope the managers do a better job to ensure people's food is hot, since they can't get people thru fast enough, they should keep under the food warmers until the car arrives. read more

To the victor, goes the spoils of war. Or at least, that's the way I see things. This McDonald's was basically near my hotel, the Courtyard by Marriott. My friend came to this McDonald's location near the Savannah International airport because she was dropping me off here and was on her way back north to North Carolina. We decided to have lunch here at this McDonalds. We arrived here around 1:00pm and found parking. It was easy enough, since it was a Sunday afternoon and the parking lot was not full. We opted to head inside and found a nice place to sit at, talking about the aforementioned spoils of war that we had embarked on over the weekend - a 24 hr footrace that left me wanting more, although running late at night thru wooded areas was going be interesting. With that said, my experience here at this McDonalds was typical but good. It was good to see civilization again after being on a farm for 2 days camping. The restaurant itself was smaller than I thought but I think it can hold probably up to 25 people at a time, socially distanced of course. McDonald's is known globally for its chicken McNuggets and its familiar burgers and fries. I ended up getting a 20 piece chicken McNuggets, large fries, and a large Diet Coke. I even paid for my friend's meal, because she was gracious as to giving me a ride to McDonald's & hotel after the 24 hour run event we both endured. I enjoyed the ambiance, which was nice and quiet. The overall experience here at this McDonalds near Savannah international airport was pretty good and just very grateful that I was here because of the aforementioned reason why I was doing stuff in Georgia. This McDonald's experience represents the result of a lot of homework and training and not because it was just lunch, but it was just a reward for a job well done. For the most part, though maybe it was just lunch but to me, it was more than that. It was the reward that kept me going when I felt like quitting, and all hope was lost. Still, the company while dining in this McDonald's was excellent as usual, the service here was typical of any fast food restaurant especially McDonald's. After filling up my cup with ice and liquid soda, I joined my friend, who was picking her meal at the same time. Because she was driving me here from Brooklet, Georgia I paid for her meal. It was the least I can do for all the help she's giving me over the weekend in Georgia. And so, this McDonald's is well located so you can grab a bite to eat on the way in or out of Savannah, Georgia since the airport is Close enough. This McDonald's location is situated near the city limits of Savannah Georgia. His physical address is 190 Pooler Parkway here in Pooler., and is about five or so miles from the savanna international Airport. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. They have an app that also accepts all the credit cards. For the most part though, the experience here at this McDonalds was one of last meals on my trip to Georgia and it was pretty good. As mentioend before, the parking here is quite generous. Best to come here early enough to secure a spot. Not sure if there is local public transportation here, but confirm if the city of Savannah has routes that comes out to Pooler. While it is just a McDonalds, its a nice budget friendly place for lunch or dinner. Service was nice and typical while I was there. 4.0 stars for the overall experience. 4.5 stars for the service and the ambiance. 3.5 stars for the food. 4.0 stars for the wifi. 3.0 stars for the prices. Truly one of the WORST Mickey Do's in terms of customer service and customer care. Drive-Thru line is ridiculously inefficient at almost all hours of the day. If you have the misfortune of trying to go there during "late night" hours, you might as well forget it. You will wait FOREVER at the order sign and will be completely ignored. Manager/owner, take a lesson from chik fil a...they have the same demand or more and punk customers out...no reason that someone needs to stay in one spot for 5 minutes just to move up 20 feet. I've never had a fast food experience this awful. 11:07 am. Placed an app order and parked on space #3. Notified I was there. 37 minutes later I was still waiting. I actually called inside to check on my order. A few minutes later a guy came out and told me they lost my order. Wow. It's already paid for and you lost it. Went to this McDonald's today at 12:30 pm. Drive-thru was backed up so I went inside to place a to-go order. There was a long line inside, with only one register open. I placed my order and completely confused multiple employees because I ordered a glass of water! They ended up giving me a bottle of water because I'm guessing they couldn't comprehend how to fill a cup with water.
